Ⅰ.阅读理解
A
When
dogs
get
lonely,
they
like
keeping
themselves
busy
by
making
a
big
mess
around
the
house,
and
that
doesn't
really
sit
well
with
their
owners.
That's
why
one
German
radio
host,
who
also
happens
to
be
a
dog
owner
came
up
with
the
idea
for
a
programme
designed
to
relax
dogs
and
make
them
feel
like
they
aren't
alone.
When
30?year?old
Stephan
Stock,
a
radio
host
at
Radio
Ton,
in
Germany's
Baden?Württemberg
region,
announced
the
creation
of
a
programme
aimed
at
dogs,
everyone
thought
it
was
just
a
clever
April
Fools
trick.
However,
it
wasn't.
For
the
past
three
and
a
half
months,
Hallo
Hasso
has
been
pumping
out
music
for
lonely
dogs
both
on
the
radio
and
online.
Stock
says
he
was
inspired
to
create
the
special
programme
by
his
pet
dog,
Layla,
who
would
sometimes
get
so
bored
when
left
alone
that
she
would
keep
herself
busy
by
making
a
big
mess
around
the
house.
He
and
his
colleagues
at
RadioTon
started
researching
what
kind
of
music
usually
appeals
to
dogs,
and
learnt
that
it
should
have
as
little
drum
and
electric
guitar
as
possible,
and
should
be
very
slow.
“It's
not
about
keeping
dogs
quiet,”
Stock
said
about
Hallo
Hasso.
“It's
more
about
the
dog
feeling
he's
not
alone.”
He
adds
that
Layla
isn't
as
restless
since
listening
to
Hallo
Hasso,
and
has
become
relatively
quiet,
even
letting
him
take
a
nap
(打盹儿)to
the
music
from
the
radio.
Hallo
Hasso
is
only
available
in
Baden?Württemberg,
via
radio,
but
if
you'd
like
to
see
if
it
can
calm
your
four?legged
pet,
the
programme
can
also
be
accessed
online
here.
Just
press
the
“play”
arrow
at
the
top
of
the
page
and
let
the
music
work
its
music.
If
this
doesn't
work,
there's
always
Dog
TV.

Stock's
announcement
of
a
programme
for
dogs?

it.

it
seriously.

dogs
quiet.
C.It

specific
limit
on
music
types.
D.It's
a
product
of
Stock's
own
life

4.Where

read
this
text?
A.On
a

B.In

C.In

D.In

The
words
“protect
animals”
appear
everywhere
in
books
and
on
screens,
because
some
animals
are
even
in
danger
of
dying
out.
But
sometimes
the
reality
can
be
a
little
different
from
what
people
read
or
watch.
About
300
black
bears
were
killed
in
Florida,
the
US,
in
October,
2015.
It's
been
the
first
bear
hunt
in
the
state
since
1994.
Local
officers
explained
that
the
black
bear
population
had
grown
to
3,500
and
became
a
menace
to
local
people.
In
the
past
two
years,
bears
have
hurt
at
least
four
people
in
Florida.
Months
ago,
the
Swiss
government
allowed
locals
to
kill
a
wolf.
This
was
because
the
wolf
killed
38
sheep,
and
it
was
a
great
loss
to
some
local
farmers.
Days
ago
in
China,
three
old
men
were
caught
by
the
police
for
killing
a
serow
(鬣羚),
a
kind
of
protected
animal.
They
said
they
killed
the
animal
because
it
ate
the
plants
they
grew.
However,
these
stories
don't
always
mean
that
animal
protection
stops
because
of
human
interests
especially
when
it
is
related
to
economic
development.
A
man
named
Zhou
Weisen
set
up
a
wild
animal
base
in
Guilin,
Guangxi.
He
saved
over
170
tigers
and
about
300
bears.
His
base
also
offered
jobs
to
local
people.
“There
may
never
be
a
standard
answer
to
the
question
of
whether
we
should
give
more
attention
to
the
environment
or
human
development,”
said
Robert
May,
a
British
expert
at
Oxford
University.
“But
we
shouldn't
push
either
one
to
the
side,
as
the
future
is
uncertain.”

years
D.twenty?one

6.What
does
the
underlined
word
“menace”
in
the
second
paragraph
mean?
A.Threat.
B.Chance.
C.Bargain.
D.Treasure.
7.What
does
the
author
intend
to
tell
us
by
mentioning
Zhou
Weisen's
story?
A.Protecting
animals
needs
hard
work.
B.Zhou
was
good
at
feeding
wild
animals.
C.Zhou
had
a
good
relationship
with
local
people.
D.Protecting
animals
can
bring
economic
development.
8.Which
of
the
following
statements
might
Robert
May
agree
with?
A.Human
development
should
be
considered
first.
B.We
should
pay
more
attention
to
animal
protection.
C.We
should
consider
both
the
environment
and
human
interests.
D.It's
difficult
to
find
proper
ways

13.答案与解析:D 考查动词。多少天来,孩子们一直在寻找我们能够帮助的其他人,help“帮助”;
rely
on“依赖”;
respect“尊重”;learn
from“向……学习”,故选D。
14.答案与解析:C 考查固定搭配
in
need在危难中。根据本文叙述的事件可知,作者一家人走出去不仅仅帮助在危难中的兄弟,故选C。
15.答案与解析:B 考查形容词sweet甜的。根据句意和前文的叙述可知,帮助别人给孩子们带来了快乐甜蜜的滋味而且sweet与后面的taste搭配体现了这篇文章的中心思想——帮助别人,快乐自己,故选B。
Ⅲ.语法填空
【语篇解读】 本文是一篇说明文。中国科学家最近对一只野生雌性大熊猫和她刚出生的大熊猫宝宝进行了研究。他们发现,大熊猫妈妈对其孩子关怀备至。
1.答案与解析:is
loved 考查动词的时态和语态。大熊猫为世界各地的人们所喜爱是个客观事实,故用一般现在时;panda与love之间是被动关系,所以用被动语态。故填is
loved。
2.答案与解析:recently 考查词性转换。空格处修饰动词短语“had
a
chance”,应用副词。recent的副词是recently。
3.答案与解析:caring/careful 考查词性转换。空格处修饰名词mother,故用形容词。care的形容词是caring(关心他人的)或careful(细心的)。在此,两个形容词在语意上都能讲得通。
4.答案与解析:to
eat 考查非谓语动词。不定式to
eat作定语,修饰前面的不定代词something。句意为:25天中,她寸步不离她的孩子,甚至不去找东西吃!
5.答案与解析:enemies 考查名词单复数。句意:任何气味都可能引来天敌——它们会试图吃掉熊猫宝宝的。天敌不止一个,故用复数形式enemies。
6.答案与解析:When/If 考查从属连词。根据语境可知,when(当……时)和if(如果)用在此处都合适。句意:当它哭的时候/如果它哭了,熊猫妈妈会来回摇晃它,轻轻拍打,给它安慰。
7.答案与解析:for 考查介词。“for+时间段”表示持续一段时间。熊猫妈妈对孩子的照顾会持续两年多。
8.答案与解析:its 考查代词。mother是名词,故其前填形容词性物主代词its。
9.答案与解析:drove 考查动词的时态。文章叙述了熊猫妈妈对孩子的照顾,用了一般过去时,空格处也需用一般过去时,故用drive的过去式drove。
10.答案与解析:and 考查并列连词。句意:是时候再生一个孩子了,熊猫宝宝也到独立的时候了。It
was
time
for...和it
was
also
time
for...之间是并列关系,故用and连接。课时作业(二) Using

Ⅰ.阅读理解
A
We
know
that
many
animals
do
not
stay
in
one
place.
Birds,
fish
and
other
animals
move
from
one
place
to
another
at
a
certain
time.
They
move
for
different
reasons:
most
of
them
move
to
find
food
more
easily,
but
others
move
to
get
away
from
the
places
that
are
too
crowded.
When
cold
weather
comes,
many
birds
move
to
warmer
places
to
find
food.
Some
fish
give
birth
in
warm
water
and
move
to
cold
water
to
feed.
The
most
famous
migration
is
probably
the
migration
of
the
fish
which
is
called
“salmon”.
The
fish
is
born
in
fresh
water
but
it
travels
many
miles
to
salt
water.
There
it
spends
its
life.
When
it
is
cold,
it
returns
to
its
birthplace
in
fresh
water.
Then
it
gives
birth
and
dies
there.
In
northern
Europe,
there
is
a
kind
of
mouse.
They
leave
their
mountain
homes
when
they
become
too
crowded.
They
move
down
to
the
low
land.
Sometimes
they
move
all
the
way
to
the
seaside,
and
many
of
them
are
killed
when
they
fall
into
the
sea.
Recently,
scientists
have
studied
the
migration
of
a
kind
of
lobster.
Every
year,
when
the
season
of
bad
weather
arrives,
the
lobsters
get
into
a
long
line
and
start
to
walk
across
the
floor
of
the
ocean.
Nobody
knows
why
they
do
this,
and
nobody
knows
where
they
go.
So,
sometimes
we
know
why
humans
and
animals
move
from
one
place
to
another,
but
at
other
times
we
don't.
Maybe
things
just
like
to
travel.
1.Why
do
most
animals
move
from
one
place
to
another
at
a
certain
time?
A.To
give
birth.
B.To
enjoy
warmer
weather.
C.To
find
food
more
easily.
D.To
find
beautiful
places.
2.Where
does
the
fish
called
“salmon”
spend
a
long
life?
A.In
salt
water.
B.In
rivers.
C.In
fresh
water.
D.At
its
birthplace.
3.The

A.to
the
fresh
water
B.across
the

C.in

D.to

4.What
is
the
main

of
the

A.Animals

I
work

a

and

organization
at
Bailey
Arboretum
in
Locust
Valley.
Trying
to
help
injured,
displaced
or
sick
creatures
can
be
heartbreaking;
survival
is
never
certain.
However,
when
it
works,
it
is
simply
beautiful.
I
got
a
rescue
call
from
a
woman
in
Muttontown.
She
had
found
a
young
owl
(猫头鹰)
on
the
ground.
When
I
arrived,
I
saw
a
2?to
3?week?old
owl.
It
had
already
been
placed
in
a
carrier
for
safety.
I
examined
the
chick
(雏鸟)
and
it
seemed
fine.
If
I
could
locate
the
nest,
I
might
have
been
able
to
put
it
back,
but
no
luck.
My
next
work
was
to
construct
a
nest
and
anchor
it
in
a
tree.
The
homeowner
was
very
helpful.
A
wire
basket
was
found.
I
put
some
pine
branches
into
the
basket
to
make
this
nest
safe
and
comfortable.
I
placed
the
chick
in
the
nest,
and
it
quickly
calmed
down.
Now
all
that
was
needed
were
the
parents,
but
they
were
absent.
I
gave
the
homeowner
a
recording
of
the
hunger
screams
of
owl
chicks.
These
advertise
the
presence
of
chicks
to
adults;
they
might
also
encourage
our
chick
to
start
calling
as
well.
I
gave
the
owner
as
much
information
as
possible
and
headed
home
to
see
what
news
the
night
might
bring.
A
nervous
night
to
be
sure,
but
sometimes
the
spirits
of
nature
smile
on
us
all!
The
homeowner
called
to
say
that
the
parents
had
responded
to
the
recordings.
I
drove
over
and
saw
the
chick
in
the
nest
looking
healthy
and
active.
And
it
was
accompanied
in
the
nest
by
the
greatest
sight
of
all—LUNCH!
The
parents
had
done
their
duty
and
would
probably
continue
to
do
so.

Ⅱ.七选五
The
world's
African
elephants
are
in
serious
danger.
__1__
And
if
we
do
nothing
to
put
an
end
to
the
illegal
ivory
trade,
elephants
will
be
extinct
in
the
wild
within
the
next
20
years.
Many
believe
that
an
illegal
hunter
could
get
ivory
without
killing
the
elephant—this
is
not
true.
__2__
And
the
rest
lies
beneath
the
surface
like
an
iceberg
(冰山)in
water.
The
tusk
(长牙)
is
not
just
bone
but
rather
it
is
alive,
filled
with
nerves
and
blood
vessels
(血管)and
when
broken
off,
the
tusks
would
likely
become
infected
and
lead
to
a
slow
and
painful
death.
However,
there
is
a
new
form
of
hope
rising
from
nature
itself.
African
elephants
are
being
born
without
the
tusks
that
illegal
hunters
have
targeted
for
decades.
But
why
is
the
largest
land
mammal
on
earth
now
being
born
tuskless?
__3__
Is
such
change
beneficial
to
elephants'
survival
in
the
long
term?
As
we
know,
elephant
tusks
are
not
just
glorious?looking.
__4__
Therefore,
scientists
are
just
beginning
to
track
the
newly
tuskless
among
them
to
see
how
this
unfortunate
adaptation
affects
the
species.
Ivory
hunters
are
not
the
only
danger
faced
by
elephants
today.
And
more
support
is
needed
than
ever
to
create
a
safe
world
where
elephants
can
live
together
with
humans
happily,
tusks
and
all.
__5__
A.Action
should
be
taken
to
protect
animals
in
the
world.
B.They
also
have
important
uses
such
as
self?defense
and
digging.
C.Only
two?thirds
of
an
elephant's
ivory
sticks
out
of
their
mouth.
D.It
is
estimated
that
one
is
killed
every
15
minutes
for
their
ivory.
E.That's
because
elephants
without
tusks
have
a
better
chance
of
surviving.
F.After
centuries
of
being
hunted
by
humans,
many
African
elephants
are
tuskless.
G.And
it's
in
our
power
to
make
this
happen
by
cutting
demand
and
raising
awareness.

Ⅰ.阅读理解
A
I
began
to
grow
up
on
that
winter
night
when
my
parents
and
I
were
returning
from
my
aunt's
house,
and
my
mother
said
that
we
might
soon
be
leaving
for
America.
We
were
on
the
bus
then.
I
was
crying,
I
could
not
bear
the
thought
of
never
hearing
again
the
radio
program
which
I
listened
every
morning.
I
do
not
remember
myself
crying
for
this
reason
again.
In
fact,
I
think
I
cried
very
little
when
I
was
saying
goodbye
to
my
friends
and
relatives.
When
we
were
leaving,
I
thought
about
all
the
places
I
was
going
to
see—the
strange
and
magical
places
I
had
known
only
from
books
and
pictures.
The
four
years
that
followed
taught
me
the
importance
of
optimism.
For
the
first
two
years
in
New
York
I
had
to
study
in
three
schools
as
a
result
of
family
moves.
Mother
remarried,
and
things
became
even
more
complex
for
me.
Some
time
passed
before
my

and
I
got
used
to
each
other.
My
responsibilities
in
the
family
increased
a
lot
since
I
knew
English
better
than
everyone
else
at
home.
I
wrote
letters,
filled
out
forms,
translated
at
interviews
with
immigration
officers,
took
my
grandparents
to
the
doctor
and
translated
there,
and
even
discussed
telephone
bills
with
company
representatives.
From
my
experiences
I
have
learned
one
important
rule:
Almost
all
common
troubles
eventually
go
away!
Something
good
is
certain
to
happen
in
the
end
when
you
do
not
give
up,
and
just
wait
a
little!
I
believe
that
my
life
will
turn
out
all
right,
even
though
it
will
not
be
that
easy.

A.her

to

C.there

more

than
bad

D.good
things
will

B
More
than
two
thirds
of
the
world's
polar
bears
will
be
wiped
out
by
2050,
according
to
a
shocking
new
study.
By
then,
scientists
say,
global
warming
will
have
melted
42
percent
of
the
Arctic
sea
ice.
By
2100,
only
a
very
few
of
these
important
creatures
will
be
left.
The
report
has
been
produced
by
the
US
Geological
Survey.
The
scientists
have
publicized
their
findings
in
the
hope
of
influencing
Dirk
Kempthorne,who
has
been
asked
to
put
polar
bears
on
the
US
endangered
species
list.
Polar
bears
depend
on
floating
sea
ice
as
a
platform
for
hunting
seals,
which
are
their
main
food.
Without
enough
ice,
polar
bears
would
be
forced
to
go
onto
the
land,
where
they
are
poorly
skilled
hunters,
and
would
be
unlikely
to
adapt
to
the
life
on
the
land
in
time.
Experts
say
few
little
bears
would
survive
and
the
stress
could
make
many
females
unable
to
get
pregnant.
The
team
of
American
and
Canadian
scientists
spent
six
months
studying
bears,
on
the
ground,
from
spotter
planes
and
in
the
lab,
using
computer
models.
Some
team
members
fear
the
result
is
even
worse
for
the
bears
than
what
their
report
says.
They
say
the
Arctic
is
warming
faster
than
anywhere
in
the
world
and
much
faster
than
their
computer
has
been
forecasting.
Satellite
observations
have
showed
that
the
ice
has
decreased
to
an
all?time
low.
However,
not
everyone
in
the
scientific
community
believes
that
global
warming
is
happening
on
such
an
alarming
scale.
Another
investigation
has
found
that
polar
bears
are
still
being
hunted
by
wealthy
“sportsmen”
who
want
their
skins
and
heads.
At
least
ten
international
companies
offer
bear
hunting
trips.
4.What
do
we
know
about
Dirk
Kempthorne
according
to
the
passage?
A.He
is
an
animal
scientist.
B.He
is
a
protector
of
animals
working
for
the
US
government.
C.He
has
been
asked
to
put
polar
bears
on
the
US
endangered
species
list.
D.He
has
offered
to
put
polar
bears
on
the
endangered
species
list.
5.Why
will
polar
bears
die
out
if
there
is
not
enough
sea
ice?
A.Because
polar
bears
can't
catch
enough
food
without
ice.
B.Because
polar
bears
eat
ice
when
they
feel
thirsty.
C.Because
polar
bears
will
be
easily
found
by
hunters
without
ice.
D.Because
most
female
bears
are
used
to
giving
birth
under
ice.
6.After
a
six?month
study,
some
scientists
fear
that
________.
A.there
is
something
wrong
with
their
computers
B.polar
bears
will
disappear
even
faster
than
they
has
ever
expected
C.their
computer
models
are
not
as
accurate
as
they
expected
D.global
warming
will
destroy
everything
in
the
Arctic
7.What
is
this
passage
mainly
about?
A.Global
warming
makes
the
whole
world
different.
B.Human
beings
are
responsible
for
the
endangered
species.
C.Most
of
the
polar
bears
will
have
been
wiped
out
by
the
end
of
this
century.
D.Scientists
have
found
that
most
animals
in
the
Arctic
will
die

insects,
bugs,
birds
and

strong
curves
of

It's
advisable
to
have
the

keep 考查时态。本句前一分句是一个祈使句,相当于条件状语从句,后面的分句中使用一般将来时。所以要填will
keep。
9.答案与解析:After/Before/When 考查连词。句意:在他再次跳进洞里之后/之前/时,他说:“你说得很容易,但洞里有一头熊。”句中应该使用时间状语从句,所以要填After/Before/When。
10.答案与解析:to
say 考查不定式。此处是考查“It's+adj.
+for
sb.
+to
do
sth.”结构,所以要填to
say。课时作业(四) Writing

第二节 概要写作
阅读下面短文,根据其内容写一篇60词左右的内容概要。
It's
a
really
good
idea
to
visit
colleges
before
you
apply
because
their
websites
can
all
start
to
look
and
sound
the
same.
Nothing
will
give
you
the
sense
of
what
it
will
actually
be
like
to
live
on
a
college
campus
(校园)
like
visiting
and
seeing
for
yourself
the
dorms,
classrooms
and
athletic
equipment
and,
of
course,
the
students.It
seems
a
little
crazy
once
senior
year
hits
to
find
the
time
to
visit
college
campuses,
and
it
can
also
be
pricey
if
the
schools
you
are
applying
to
happen
to
be
more
than
a
car
ride
away.But
keep
in
mind
that
you
are
making
a
decision
about
the
next
four
years
of
your
life,
and
do
all
the
research
you
can
to
make
sure
you
are
making
the
right
one.
There's
no
excuse
not
to
visit
the
schools
in
your
local
area.
In
fact,
a
lot
of
college
applications
even
ask
if
you
have
visited
campus,
and
obviously,
if
you
live
across
the
country
that
won't
be
as
much
of
a
possibility,
but
if
you
live
nearby,
go
check
it
out!
If
campus
visits
aren't
going
to
happen
before
you
apply,
at
the
very
least
you
should
find
some
time
between
applying
and
getting
your
acceptance
letters
to
visit
the
schools
you'd
like
to
attend.
It
can
save
you
a
lot
of
heartache
if
you
rule
out
now
the
things
that
you
don't
like
about
certain
campuses,
things
that
you
wouldn't
know
unless
you
actually
visit.
Now,
if
time
and
money
are
making
it
impossible,
then
check
out
the
online
college
fairs
at
CollegeWeekLive.
It's
a
chance
to
chat
online
with
admissions
officers,
students,
and
college
counselors
(顾问),
and
it
won't
cost
you
a
penny!
You
can
register
for
its
online
college
fair
at
collegeweeklive.com.
While
visiting
an
online
college
fair
can't
take
the
place
of
an
actual
campus
visit,
it
can
be
a
very
useful
tool
that
along
with
all
your
other
research
will
help
you
make
an
informed
decision
about
which
colleges
or
universities
you'd
like
to
attend.
