Ⅰ.阅读理解
A
Have
you
ever
run
into
a
careless
cell
phone
user
on
the
street?
Perhaps
they
were
busy
talking,
texting
or
checking
updates
on
WeChat
without
looking
at
what
was
going
on
around
them.
As
the
number
of
this
new
“species”
of
human
has
kept
rising,
they
have
been
given
a
new
name—phubbers
(低头族).
Recently,
a
cartoon
created
by
students
from
China
Central
Academy
of
Fine
Arts
put
this
group
of
people
under
the
spotlight
(聚光灯).
In
the
short
film,
phubbers
with
various
social
identities
bury
themselves
in
their
phones.
A
doctor
plays
with
his
cell
phone
while
letting
his
patient
die,
a
pretty
woman
takes
selfie
(自拍)
in
front
of
a
car
accident
site,
and
a
father
loses
his
child
without
knowing
about
it
while
using
his
mobile
phone.
A
chain
of
similar
events
eventually
leads
to
the
destruction
of
the
world.
Although
the
ending
sounds
overstated,
the
damage
phubbing
can
bring
is
real.
Your
health
is
the
first
to
bear
the
effect
and
result
of
it.
“Constantly
bending
your
head
to
check
your
cell
phone
could
damage
your
neck,”
Guangming
Daily
quoted
doctors
as
saying.
“The
neck
is
like
a
rope
that
breaks
after
long?term
stretching.”
Also,
staring
at
cell
phones
for
long
periods
of
time
will
damage
your
eyesight
gradually,
according
to
the
report.
But
that's
not
all.
Being
a
phubber
could
also
damage
your
social
skills
and
drive
you
away
from
your
friends
and
family.
At
reunions
with
family
or
friends,
many
people
tend
to
stare
at
their
cell
phones
while
others
are
chatting
happily
with
each
other,
and
this
creates
a
strange
atmosphere,
Qilu
Evening
News
reported.
It
can
also
cost
you
your
life.
There
have
been
lots
of
reports
on
phubbers
who
fell
to
their
death,
suffered
accidents,
and
were
robbed
of
their
cell
phones
in
broad
daylight.

a
risk
a

and

of
the

social

could
be
affected.
3.What
may
the
passage
talk
about
next?

on
how
to
use
a
cell
phone.
B.Measures
to
reduce
the
risks
of
phubbing.
C.Results
of
phubbing.
D.People
addicted
to
phubbing.

When
high
school
student
Katie
Shipley
was
born
with
a
serious
brain
disease,
doctors
said
she
wouldn't
live
to
go
to
school.
Now,
Katie
is
not
only
about
to
graduate
from
Southridge
High
School
in
Oregon,
but
she
was
also
named
the
school's
prom
(高中生正式舞会)
queen.
Knowing
Katie's
wishes
for
the
school's
prom
queen,
her
friend
Courtney
Travis
began
reaching
out
to
find
her
the
prom
king
she
needed
to
make
her
a
queen.
Courtney
found
Michael
Parks,
who
also
thought
it
was
a
great
idea.
“I
really
got
to
know
Shipley,”
said
Michael.
“When
you
take
time
to
get
to
know
other
people,
it
really
gives
you
a
great
chance
to
live
for
more
than
yourself.”
Courtney
took
a
picture
of
the
couple
together
and
put
it
on
her
Twitter,
explaining
their
plans
for
the
prom.
“It
became
very
popular
in
the
school,”
she
said.
Their
efforts
paid
off,
and
Katie
was
very
excited
to
be
named
the
school's
prom
queen.
On
the
day
of
the
prom,
Katie
wore
a
very
beautiful
dress.
Her
grandmother,
Joan
Fraley,
who
also
went
to
the
prom,
said
the
night
would
stay
with
her
always.
“I
was
standing
there
and
the
children
were
shouting
her
name,”
she
said.
“They
called
her
the
new
prom
queen—I
started
crying.
I'm
greatly
thankful
to
the
students
of
Southridge
High
School.”
Katie
repeated
that
feeling.
“I
just
want
to
say
thank
you
to
my
friends
for
all
they
did
for
me.
I
love
you
all.”
Todd
Corsetti,
principal
(校长)
of
Southridge
High
School,
said
that
seeing
Katie
as
the
prom
queen
and
the
energy
and
help
of
his
students
was
one
of
his
“proudest
moments”.
“I
think
teenagers
have
great
hearts
and
are
really
looking
to
make
the
world
a
better
place,”
said
Todd.
“As
we
finish
our
school
year,
it's
a
great
legacy
(遗产)
to
leave
the
other
classes
who
come
after
them.”
4.When
katie
was
born,

hospital

long

high
school

than
himself
D.was
very
happy

Katie
realize
her
dream
6.Why
did

cry
at
the
prom?
A.Because
she
felt
sorry
for
Katie.
B.Because
she
thought
of
Katie's
hard
life.
C.Because
she
was
invited
to
Katie's
graduation.
D.Because
she
was
moved
by
what
others
did
for
Katie.
7.What
is

the

A.They
are

C
More
students
than
ever
before
are
taking
a
gap
year
(间隔年)
before
going
to
university.
It
used
to
be
called
the
“year
off”
between
school
and
university.
The
gap?year
phenomenon
originate
(起源)
with
the
months
left
over
to
Oxbridge
applicants
between
entrance
exams
in
November
and
the
start
of
the
next
academic
year.
This
year,
25,310
students
who
have
accepted
places
in
higher
education
institutions
have
put
off
their
entry
until
next
year,
according
to
statistics
on
university
entrance
provided
by
the
University
and
College
Admissions
Service
(UCAS).
That
is
a
record
14.7%
increase
in
the
number
of
students
taking
a
gap
year.
Tony
Higgins
from
UCAS
said
that
the
statistics
are
good
news
for
everyone
in
higher
education.
“Students
who
take
a
well?planned
year
out
are
more
likely
to
be
satisfied
with,
and
complete,
their
chosen
course.
Students
who
take
a
gap
year
are
often
more
mature
and
responsible,”
he
said.
But
not
everyone
is
happy.
Owain
James,
the
president
of
the
National
Union
of
Students
(NUS),
argued
that
the
increase
is
evidence
of
student
hardship—young
people
are
being
forced
into
earning
money
before
finishing
their
education.
“New
students
are
now
aware
that
they
are
likely
to
leave
university
up
to
£15,000
in
debt.
It
is
not
surprising
that
more
and
more
students
are
taking
a
gap
year
to
earn
money
to
support
their
study
for
the
degree.
NUS
statistics
show
that
over
40%
of
students
are
forced
to
work
during
term
time
and
the
figure
increases
to
90%
during
vacation
periods,”
he
said.
8.What

we
learn
about
the
gap
year
from
the
text?
A.It
is
flexible
in
length.
B.It
is
a
time
for
relaxation.
C.It
is
increasingly
popular.
D.It
is

by
universities.

Higgins,

Ⅱ.七选五
After
entering
high
school,
you
must
wonder
how
to
study
well.
Here
are
some
good
skills
for
you.
Go
to
class.
If
you
want
to
do
well
at
school,
going
to
class
is
the
first
step
in
studying
well.
If
you
miss
classes,
you
will
miss
what
the
teacher
thinks
is
important;
as
a
result,
you'll
miss
what
is
the
most
likely
to
end
up
on
the
test.
__1__
Take
good
notes.
Try
not
to
write
down
everything.
__2__
Write
down
unfamiliar
terms.
After
class,
review
your
notes
as
soon
as
possible.
You
can
fill
in
details
that
you
missed
and
review
the
material
while
it
is
still
fresh
in
your
mind.
__3__
If
you
are
struggling
in
class,
talk
to
your
teacher.
He
or
she
may
be
able
to
give
you
more
help
or
tutor
you
before
or
after
class.
Most
teachers
have
little
sympathy
(同情)
for
students
who
just
become
worried
about
failing
during
the
last
few
weeks
of
the
grading
period.
Take
part
in
class
discussions.
In
order
to
learn
more
in
class,
it
is
helpful
to
take
part
in
class
discussions.
Asking
questions
and
having
eye
contact
with
your
teachers
and
classmates
can
increase
your
participation
and
your
focus
during
the
class
discussions.
__4__
This
helps
you
make
your
point
clear
in
class.
Form
study
groups.
__5__
Make
sure
that
everyone
is
familiar
with
the
material
because
you
do
not
want
to
spend
time
re?teaching
the
material
to
people
who
do
not
understand
it.
Be
careful!
Sometimes
group
sessions
can
become
chatting
sessions.
A.If
the
material
is
difficult,
you'd
better
read
it
before
class.
B.Write
down
the
main
points.
C.Get
students
together
who
want
to
do
well
in
class.
D.So
if
you
want
to
study
well,
go
to
every
class.
E.You
should
write
down
all
the
new
terms.
F.Talk
to
your
teacher
if
you
need
help.
G.Don't
be
late
for
your
class.

sure

so
he

his

The
old
man
answered,
“I
have
just
exactly
what
you
need;
it's
in
the
attic

Wait
here
for

Grandpa
left,

though
carrying

“Take
it.

1.答案与解析:feeling 考查非谓语动词。空格处的单词与句子的主语是逻辑上的主动关系,应用现在分词表主动和伴随。
2.答案与解析:an 考查冠词。experience在句中表示“经历”,是单数可数名词,且experience以元音音素开头,故用冠词an。quite

Ⅰ.阅读理解
A
【语篇解读】 本文是一篇说明文。你想做志愿者工作吗?本文推荐了几个可以做志愿者工作的地方,赶紧阅读一下吧!
1.答案与解析:B 细节理解题。根据第一段中的“The
most
important
thing
is
that
you
can
get
some
useful
guides
to
your
future
job.”可知,做志愿者工作的最大好处就是能获得一些对未来工作的有用指导,故选B项。A项和C项也是做志愿者工作的好处,但不是最大的,故排除;D项在文中没有提及。
2.答案与解析:C 推理判断题。文章共推荐了四个地方——hospitals、nursing
homes、garden
centers和libraries,故选C项。
3.答案与解析:C 推理判断题。空格前面一句提到“你在园艺中心当义工肯定会提高园艺技能”,所以承接上文应该说“有一天你可能会成为一名好的园艺师”,故选C项。其他三项与此处的语境不相符。
4.答案与解析:B 主旨大意题。通读文章可知,这篇文章主要介绍了几个适合青少年做志愿者工作的场所,故选B项。
B
【语篇解读】 本文为记叙文,话题是人际关系。Mario有很多朋友,但他不知道究竟谁是他真正的朋友。他的祖父给了他一把“无形的椅子”,这把椅子让他看清了谁才是他真正的朋友。
5.答案与解析:D 推理判断题。结合第二段中的“...Mario
could
see
nothing
there”和下文他屡次跌落下来可知,祖父实际上并没有给他任何东西。
6.答案与解析:B 细节理解题。根据第二段中的“...you'll
be
able
to
tell
who
your
true
friends
are”可知,祖父给Mario椅子的目的是想帮他看清谁是他真正的朋友。
7.答案与解析:C 细节理解题。根据倒数第二段的第一句可知,是Georgo、Lucas和Diana用手把Mario托住,才使得他没有再次跌坐到地上。
8.答案与解析:C 主旨大意题。通读全文可知,文章通过Mario的故事告诉我们:真正的朋友是那些在我们身处困境时关心我们的人,而不是袖手旁观,甚至嘲笑我们的人。
Ⅱ.七选五
【语篇解读】 本文为一篇说明文。文章就如何记住读过的文章给出了几个小诀窍。
1.答案与解析:D 空后表示“你或许刚刚读完一篇文章,但大意、概念和形象可能会马上从你的大脑中消失”。根据转折连词but可知,前后语意相反,刚刚读完文章,就会忘记,那么记忆有时就是件很“棘手的(tricky)”事。
2.答案与解析:A 空格单独一行,且与下面的标题句并列,由此推断,该句应为概括性语句,再结合下文的confusing和“don't
understand
what
you're
reading”可知,本段是对产生的“困惑”给出小诀窍,故A项“你困惑吗?”为最佳选项。
3.答案与解析:F 根据空格前面的内容可知,读书需要联系,有些书,你或许马上能建立联系。空格后句意为“你有多愿意建立这些联系?”此处表示转折,而且前面用some
books,后面必定会有other之类的与之对应的词,而F项“But
other
books
require
a
bit
more
work
on
your
part.”满足这两个条件。
4.答案与解析:G 空格位于段末,根据文章的写作思路推测,此处应是段落总结性的句子,再分析空格前的内容可知,该段主要讲了读书的活动,所以G项“你读文章时也可以这样做!”符合语境。
5.答案与解析:B 空格前一句意为“如果经常阅读,你可能更容易记住你正在读(和读过)的内容”,空格后一句意为“当阅读成为你日常生活的一部分时,你会建立更多的联系,更加专注于阅读,更好地理解文章”,通过frequently,regular等词汇推知,要多阅读,才能记住文章。此处B项“熟能生巧”符合语境。

decided
to
move
to
the
suburbs
(郊区)
outside
Boston.
We
started
looking
for
our
new
home.
It
turned
out
that
many
other
people
were
also
moving
to
the
suburbs
and
it
wasn't
easy
to
find
a
nice
house
there.
Finally,
we
went
to
see
a
small
and
dark
house.
It
needed
a
lot
of
work.
But
it
was
well
built
and
it
was
on
a
street
where
we
could
walk
to
Starbucks,
restaurants
and
bus
stops.
Well,
before
I
knew
it,
we
had
made
an
offer
and
the
house
became
ours.
On
our
first
night
in
the
house
I
cried
for
five
hours.
I
thought
we
had
made
the
wrong
choice
and
I
wanted
to
go
back
to
the
city.
The
house
was
smelly
and
old.
And
many
families
and
old
people
lived
around
it.
But
after
thinking
of
the
problems
we
had
when
we
were
living
in
the
city,
I
calmed
down.
Besides,
our
new
home
wasn't
that
bad,
after
all.
I
had
a
driveway
of
my
own.
There
were
three
big
bedrooms
and
a
backyard
for
my
dog.
Oh,
how_lovely_the_sound_of_nothing_was.
I
changed
the
house
inch
by
inch
and
it
became
a
very
comfortable
home.
We
have
been
in
our
house
for
over
two
years
until
now
and
it's
the
best
move
we
have
ever
made.
While
I'm
glad
I
can
drive
into
the
city
in
15
minutes
and
enjoy
all
it
has
offered,
I'm
always
happy
to
return
home.

the
saying
goes,
“One
good
turn
deserves
another.”
Liz's
life
was
changed
forever
over
the
course
of
that
year.
It
all
started
with
a
single
act
of
kindness
towards
two
strangers
who
walked
into
her
diner
(小餐馆)
early
one
morning.
After
they
fought
a
horrible
fire
for
12
hours,
Tim
and
Paul
stepped
into
the
130
Diner
for
breakfast.
When
the
time
came
to
pay
the
bill
though,
there
was
a
surprise
for
them.
The
young
waitress
who
had
served
them
had
overheard
their
conversations
and
paid
their
bill,
leaving
a
sweet
message
on
their
check
instead,
“Your
meal
is
on
me
today.
Thank
you
for
serving
others
and
running
into
the

runs
away
from.”
Touched,
the
two

shared
her

it

went
viral.
And
that
was
when
they
found
out
the
true
story

the
beautiful

who
had
paid
for
them.
Liz
Woodward
had
been
struggling

they

deed,
Mobility

refused
to

gave
the

Liz
couldn't
be
too
grateful
to
the
two
firefighters
and
many
strangers
who
have
reached
out
to
help
her,
saying,
“The

the

shown
is
really
incredible,
and
I
hope
it

Ⅱ.七选五
As
we
all
know,
friendship
is
of
great
importance
in
our
daily
life.
A
friend
can
give
us
help
and
share
our
difficulties
and
happiness.
But
how
to
make
friends
is
still
difficult
for
some
of
us.
__1__
Be
friendly
to
others.
__2__
You
should
try
to
make
a
stranger
feel
at
home
wherever
he
happens
to
be.
Think
more
of
others
than
of
yourself
and
never
judge
a
person
by
his
appearance
and
clothes.
Be
reliable.
If
you
and
your
friends
agree
to
meet
somewhere,
don't
be
late.
If
you're
not
going
to
make
it
on
time
or
make
it
at
all,
call
them
as
soon
as
you
realize
it.
__3__
Be
someone
that
people
know
they
can
depend
on.
__4__
Listen
carefully
to
what
people
say,
remember
important
details
about
them
(their
names,
their
likes
and
dislikes),
ask
questions
about
their
interests,
and
just
take
time
to
learn
more
about
them.
Encourage
and
support
your
friends:
A
true
friend
always
gives
encouragement
to
his
friends.
__5__
Never
make
fun
of
or
laugh
at
your
friends
in
front
of
others.
Never
leave
your
friends
when
they
are
in
trouble.
You
should
come
to
support
them.
A.Be
a
good
listener.
B.A
friend
to
all
is
a
friend
to
none.
C.When
you
say
you'll
do
something,
do
it.
D.He
will
stay
with
them
in
good
as
well
as
bad
times.
E.The
following
information
can
give
you
some
tips.
F.Smile
at
others
and
you
are

a

should
always
share
the
same
interest
with
you.

第二节 概要写作
阅读下面短文,根据其内容写一篇60词左右的内容概要。
The
influence
of
America
is
increasing
in
Spain.
Spanish
people
drink
Coca?Cola,
wear
blue
jeans,
watch
Hollywood
movies,
listen
to
American
music,
and
eat
fast
food,
and
they
do
all
these
things
daily.
I
think
that
American
movies
are
a
good
way
to
spread
American
culture
because
often
people
are
influenced
by
what
they
see
in
the
movies.
Most
of
the
entertainment
programs
and
documentaries
we
watch
on
TV
are
from
America,
and
most
of
the
movies
we
go
to
are
made
in
Hollywood.
In
the
last
few
years,
the
government
has
tried
to
protect
the
Spanish
movies.
Now,
in
our
cinemas,
at
least
twenty
percent
of
the
movies
which
are
shown
must
be
from
Spain
or
from
a
country
of
the
European
Union.
American
culture
is
very
much
a
part
of
Spanish
life.
It's
certain
that
many
things
from
America
are
as
much
a
part
of
their
lives
as
Spanish
things.
For
example,
Coca?Cola
is
as
familiar
to
everybody
as
any
typical
Spanish
product.
I've
known
Coca?Cola
my
whole
life.
However,
it's
different
with
Western
fast
food.
For
example,
I
don't
think
McDonald's
is
as
successful
in
Spain
as
it
is
in
other
countries.
In
my
opinion,
one
of
the
reasons
may
be
the
lifestyle
of
the
Spanish
people.
The
Spanish
people
normally
eat
at
home.
It
may
be
that
McDonald's
hamburgers
will
eventually
replace
the
famous
Spanish
tapas
because
in
every
city
in
Spain
you
can
find
a
McDonald's,
and
they
are
more
popular
among
the
Spanish
children
than
among
the
adults.
In
any
case,
it's
obvious
that
American
culture
is
more
and
more
a
part
of
our
everyday
life.

Ⅰ.阅读理解
A
Google's
new
camera,
called
Clips,
is
a
small,
smart
device.
It
comes
with
a
case
that
has
a
clip
(夹子),
but
it's
not
designed
to
be
worn
on
your
clothing.
Most
interestingly,
it
uses
artificial
intelligence
to
take
photography
out
of
your
hands
so
it
can
capture
moments
on
its
own.
This
roughly
2?inch
by
2?inch
camera,
with
a
three?hour
battery
life
and
Gorilla
Glass
for
toughness,
is
intended
for
candid
moments,
like
when
a
child
does
something
cute
that
may
happen
too
quickly
for
you
to
pull
out
your
smartphone.
Onboard
the
Clips
device,
it
uses
machine
learning
algorithms
(计算程序)
to
help
capture
scenes.
Those
algorithms
include
face
recognition.
“Once
it
learns
that
there's
a
face
you
see
frequently,
it'll
try
to
get
nice
photos
of
those
faces,”
said
Juston
Payne,
the
device's
product
manager.
And
they
also
want
it
to
recognize
facial
expressions,
which
involved
“training
it
to
know
what
happiness
looks
like”.
The
Google
team
also
trained
it
to
recognize
what
not
to
shoot—like
when
a
child's
hand
is
over
the
lens,
or
if
it
is
tossed
in
a
dark
purse.
The
only
way
to
see
the
images
is
by
connecting
the
camera
with
your
phone,
as
it
has
no
screen
for
viewing
or
editing.
Were
people
concerned
it
could
seem
strange?
Yes,
Payne
admitted.
But
they
said
they
addressed
that
by
making
it
obvious
what
it
is.
A
green
light
on
the
front
signals
that
it
is
on.
Besides,
unlike
a
camera
meant
to
monitor
your
home,
it
is
not
connected
to
the
Internet.
“This
product
is
only
possible
because
of
the
way
that
silicon
has
advanced,”
Payne
said,
noting
that
it
was
only
in
the
past
year
or
so
that
they
could
squeeze
the
technology
down
into
a
device
this
size.
Going
forward,
we're
likely
to
get
more
assistance
from
the
artificial
intelligence
packed
into
our
apps
and
gadgets
(小装置).
1.What
is
the
most
outstanding
feature
of
Clips?
A.It
is
equipped
with
tough
glass.
B.It
enables
easy
Internet
access.
C.It
allows
of
hands?free
photography.
D.It
can
be
worn
on
your

2.Which
of
the
following
can
replace
the
underlined
word
“candid”
in

2?
A.Short.
B.Touching.
C.Unforgettable.
D.Embarrassing.
3.What
makes
Clips
a
reality
according
to
Juston
Payne?
A.The
popularity
of
the
Internet.
B.The

in

rise
of
the

Farmer
John
and
Farmer
Bob
were
neighbours.
For
more
than
30
years,
they
had
been
getting
along
very
well.
Then
their
good
relationship
broke.
It
began
with
a
small
thing,
then
bitter
words,
and
then
weeks
of
silence.
One
morning
Farmer
John
woke
up
to
find
a
stream
between
the
two
farms.
“It
must
be
Bob,”
thought
John.
Then
one
day
there
was
a
knock
at
John's
door.
He
opened
it
to
find
a
carpenter
(木匠)
standing
in
the
doorway.
“I'm
looking
for
a
few
days'
work,”
said
the
carpenter.
“I
do
have
a
job
for
you,”
said
John.
“Look
across
the
stream
at
that
farm.
That's
my
neighbour
Bob's.
He
dug
a
stream
between
the
two
farms.
I
want
you
to
build
a
fence—an
8?foot
fence.
I
don't
want
to
see
his
place
or
his
face
any
more.
I
don't
have
such
a
neighbour!”
The
carpenter
said,
“I
think
I
know
what
to
do,
sir,
and
I'll
be
able
to
do
a
job
that
pleases
you.”
Farmer
John
helped
the
carpenter
get
the
materials
(材料)
ready
and
then
he
was
off
for
the
day.
About
sunset
when
the
farmer
returned,
the
carpenter
had
just
finished
his
job.
The
farmer's
eyes
opened
wide.
There
was
no
fence
there
at
all!
It
was
a
bridge!
And
the
neighbour,
Bob,
was
coming
across,
with
his
hands
outstretched.
“Hi,
John!
You're
quite
a
fellow
to
build
this
bridge!”
Then
they
met
in
the
middle,
taking
each
other's
hands.
“I'm
terribly
sorry
for
what
I
have
said
and
done.
We
should
be
good
to
each
other,”
said
Farmer
Bob.
Then
they
turned
to
see
the
carpenter,
who
was
ready
to
go.
“No,
wait!
Stay
a
few
days.
I
have
a
lot
of
other
jobs
for
you,”
said
Farmer
John.
“I'd
love
to
stay,”
said
the
carpenter,
“but
I
have
more
bridges
to
build.”

B.A

D.A

C
They
were
a
happy
family:
four
daughters
all
in
the
same
school
in
different
grades.
The
youngest,
Janice,
who
was
in
my
class,
seemed
to
be
glued
(粘)
to
her
mother's
skirts.
The
three
older
girls
took
the
bus
to
school
every
morning,
but
Janice
was
always
driven
to
school
by
her
mother.
One
Friday,
Janice's
mother
asked
for
a
chat
with
me.
She
said
in
a
soft
voice,
“My
husband
is
going
to
Europe
on
business
for
two
weeks,
and
he
insists
that
I
go
with
him.
I
have
tried
to
explain
over
and
over
that
Janice
needs
me
here.
But
he
thinks
that
she
will
be
fine
without
me
so
I
have
no
option;
I
have
to
go.
I
have
told
the
babysitter
to
drive
her
every
morning.
Will
you
please
give
Janice
special
attention
and
help
her?
I
want
to
be
sure
everything
goes
well
for
her.”
I
told
her
that
we
would
make
every
effort
to
support
Janice.
I
even
volunteered
to
meet
Janice
at
her
car
so
she
would
see
a
familiar
face.
As
a
mother
myself,
I'd
like
to
help.
Janice's
mother
thanked
me
for
my
understanding.
On
Monday
morning,
expecting
a
tearful,
anxious
child,
I
planned
a
special
program
of
fun
and
games.
I
waited
outside
to
greet
Janice,
but
just
then
the
bus
arrived
and
not
three,
but
four
girls
got
off.
Janice
skipped
along
joyfully,
saying
“goodbye”
to
her
sisters
as
she
ran
with
two
friends
into
the
classroom.
I
walked
slowly
into
the
classroom
and
called
Janice
over
to
ask
how
the
bus
ride
went.
Impatiently
she
said,
“Oh,
I
always
want
to
take
the
bus
with
the
other
kids,
but
Mother
needs
to
be
with
me.
You
see
there
won't
be
any
more
babies,
so
I
have
to
be
a
baby
a
little
longer.
While
she
is
away,
I'll
just
ride
the
bus
every
day.
I
am
five,
you
know.”

homework.

every

go
to
school
by

Ⅱ.七选五
Some
people
think
only
school
children
do
not
agree
with
their
parents.
However,
it
is
not
true.
__1__
If
it's
hard
for
you
to
communicate
with
your
parents,
don't
worry
about
it.
Here
are
some
advice
for
you
to
bridge
the
generation
gap.
Don't
argue
with
your
parents.
Don't
get
to
your
parents
when
you
are
angry.
Your
parents
possibly
won't
consider
your
ideas
if
you
are
shouting
at
them.
And
you
can't
express
yourself
well
if
you
are
angry.
__2__
__3__
Perhaps
you
and
your
parents
disagree
on
something.
You
can
keep
your
disagreement
and
try
your
best
to
accept
each
other.
Michael's
mother
didn't
agree
with
him
about
buying
a
motorcycle.
They
argued
over
it.
But
they
finally
came
to
a
compromise.
Michael
bought
the
motorcycle,
but
only
drove
it
on
certain
days.
Of
course,
your
parents
might
refuse
to
compromise
on
something.
In
these
situations,
it
is
especially
important
to
show
love
and
respect
for
them.
__4__
Talk
about
your
values
(价值观).
The
values
of
your
parents
are
probably
different
from
those
of
your
own.
__5__
Understanding
your
values
might
help
them
see
your
purposes
in
life.
A
good
relationship
with
your
parents
can
make
you
a
better
and
happier
person.
It
is
worth
having
a
try.
A.Go
to
some
place
to
cool
off.
B.Try
to
reach
a
compromise
(和解).
C.Tell
your
parents
what
you
care
about,
and
why.
D.Make
sure
you
understand
why
you
are
unhappy.
E.Showing
respect
will
keep
your
relationship
strong.
F.Communication
is
a
problem
for
parents
and
children
of
all
ages.
G.If
you
don't
think
you
can
speak
to
them
at
the
moment,
try
writing
a
letter.

it's
hard
for
you
to

about
it.可知,如果你很难和你的父母沟通,不要担心,故F项(沟通对于父母和各个年龄段的孩子来说都是一个问题。)符合文意。
2.答案与解析:A 根据设空处前一句And

Ⅲ.语法填空
【语篇解读】 本文是一篇记叙文。作者和妻子出去欣赏一部很有趣的戏剧,结束的时候遇见了以前的老朋友,然后又一起去跳舞,在外面待到很晚让作者非常疲惫。
1.答案与解析:usually 考查副词。修饰谓语动词read要用副词,故填usually。
2.答案与解析:interesting 考查形容词。句意为“报纸说它很有趣……”,it指物,所以要填interesting。
3.答案与解析:decision 考查名词。句意:妻子花了很长时间来决定穿什么衣服,所以我们出发有点晚了。形容词性物主代词her的后面要接名词作动词make的宾语,所以要填动词decide的名词形式decision。
4.答案与解析:By 考查介词。句意:当我们到达剧院的时候,第一幕已经开始了。介词by意为“到……的时候”,引导时间状语从句时,主句通常使用完成时。
5.答案与解析:begun 考查时态。句意:当我们到达剧院的时候,第一幕已经开始了。此处填过去分词begun与had构成过去完成时。
6.答案与解析:who 考查定语从句。先行词是friends,关系代词who指代先行词,引导定语从句并在从句中作主语,所以要填who。
7.答案与解析:staying 考查固定搭配。句意:我不习惯在外面待到这么晚,并且我非常累。固定搭配be
used
to
(doing)
sth.意为“习惯于(做)某事”,其中动名词短语doing
sth.作介词to的宾语,所以要填staying。
8.答案与解析:extremely 此处用副词修饰形容词(tired)。
9.答案与解析:an 考查不定冠词。句意:当我年轻的时候,我没有钱去度过这样的一个夜晚。不定冠词an修饰单数可数名词evening,
evening的读音以元音音素开头,表示泛指,所以要填an。
10.答案与解析:to
enjoy 考查不定式。句意:尽管现在我能够承担得起,但我没有精力去享受这样的夜晚。句中不定式短语to
enjoy
it作后置定语,修饰名词energy。

B
What
are
American
high
schools
like?
Well,
I'm
happy
to
tell
you
what
I
know.
When
I
started
school
here,
it
had
already
been
a
week
since
the
school
opened.
At
this
school,
freshmen
usually
go
on
a
trip
for
about
three
days
at
the
beginning
of
school.
Unfortunately
I
missed
that
wonderful
trip,
which
would
have
been
the
best
time
to
get
to
know
my
classmates.
I
was
really
sad.
I
wished
I'd
known
about
it
earlier.
Despite
the
disappointment,
however,
I
gradually
adapted
to
my
new
life
and
school.
There
is
a
space
in
the
basement
of
the
teaching
building
where
students
chat
and
meet
each
other.
As
we
do
not
always
have
the
same
classrooms
and
classmates,
the
school
wants
us
to
get
to
know
each
other
there.
Students
usually
come
to
school
early,
sit
in
that
space
and
have
fun.
Around
the
space,
there
are
many
lockers
for
students
to
leave
their
books
in,
so
that
students
do
not
have
to
carry
a
heavy
schoolbag
everywhere.
It
really
surprises
me
that
we
have
almost
no
textbooks.
We
only
have
textbooks
for
World
History
and
Algebra
2
and
they
are
big
and
heavy,
like
bricks.
For
other
classes,
we
only
need
binders
(活页夹)
with
paper
in
them.
Without
textbooks,
students
learn
things
freely
and
actively.
For
example,
my
humanities
teacher
just
teaches
us
what
is
in
her
mind
at
the
time.
We
never
know
what
we
will
learn.
Another
difference
between
American
schools
and
Chinese
schools
is
that
American
schools
care
about
students'
morality
(道德)
more
than
their
academic
studies.
For
example,
if
you
do
not
finish
your
homework,
you
will
just
be
asked
to
do
it
later,
but
if
you
cheat
or
lie,
you
will
get
a
warning
or
even
be
kicked
out.
I
think
that
most
students
here
are
good
at
schoolwork
as
well,
but
compared
to
Chinese
students
,
they
can
make
learning
a
more
joyful
experience.
I
think
we
should
take
the
good
points
from
our
two
different
kinds
of
education
to
perfect
our
approach
to
studying.
4.What
made
the

Thomas
Edison
was
one
of
ten
said
to
be
the
greatest
geniuses
of
his
age.
There
are
only
a
few
men
in
all
of
the
history
,
who
have
changed
the
lives
of
other
men
as
much
as
the

of

But
Edison
could
never
be
happy
only
because
someone
said
he
was
a
genius.
“There
is
no
such
thing
as
genius,”
Edison
said.
He
said
that
what
people
called
genius
was
mostly
hard
work.
But
Edison
was
a
dreamer
as
well
as
a
worker.
From
his
earliest
days
as
a
child
he
wondered
about
the
secrets
of
nature.
Nature,
he
often
said,
is
full
of
secrets.
He
tried
to
understand
them;
then,
he
tried
to
learn
what
could
usefully
be
done
with
them.
Edison
enjoyed
thinking.
He
knew
that
most
people
will
do
almost
anything
instead
of
the
difficult
work
of
thinking,
especially
if
they
do
not
think
very
often.
But
he
knew,
too,
that
thinking
can
give
men
enjoyment
and
pleasure.
Edison
could
not
understand
how
anyone
could
be
uninterested
in
life.
As
he
loved
to
think,
he
also
loved
to
work.
On
the
day
he
became
75
years
old,
someone
asked
him
what
ideas
he
had
about
life.
“Work,”
he
answered.
“Discovering
the
secrets
of
nature
and
using
them
to
make
men
happier.”
He
said
he
had
enough
inventions
in
his
mind
to
give
him
another
100
years
of
work.

His

of
activities
help
us
to
form
a
deeper
connection
with
someone.
“We
have
to
put
that_time
in,”
Hall
said.
“You
can't
make
friends
without
any
effort.”
The
results
of
the
study
come
from
analysis
of
355
responses
to
an
online
survey
from
adults
who
said
they
had
moved
in
the
last
six
months
and
were
looking
for
new
friends
in
their
new
environment.
Survey
participants
were
asked
about
new
relationships
as
well
as
hours
spent
together
and
activities
they
did.
They
were
then
asked
to
rate
their
resulting
relationships
according
to
one
of
four
stages:
acquaintance,
casual
friend,
friend
and
close
friend.
The
main
conclusion
that
Hall
came
to
is
that
making
close
friends
takes
serious
effort.
So
if
you
want
to
have
some
best
friends,
you
have
to
know
that
spending
time
with
someone
is
the
most
important
thing.
1.How
long
does
it
take
to
turn
an
acquaintance
into
a
friend?
A.About
50
hours.
B.About
90
hours.
C.About
140
hours.
D.About
200
hours.
2.What
does
the
underlined
part
“that
time”
in
Paragraph
2
refer
to?
A.Time
spent
working
together.
B.Time
spent
finding
new
friends.
C.Time
spent
helping
a
new
friend.
D.Time
spent
doing
fun
things
together.
3.Which
may
help
deepen
a
friendship
according
to
the
study?
A.Trying
to
understand
your
friend's
feelings.
B.Enjoying
quality
time
with
your
friend.
C.Treating
a
new
friend
like
a
close
one.
D.Being
generous
to
your
friend.
4.What
is
the
main
purpose
of
the
text?
A.To
solve
a
relationship
problem.
B.To
introduce
a
teacher
from
KU.
C.To
present
the
findings
of
a
new
study.
D.To
discuss
the
importance
of
friendship.
B
Getting
stuck
in
a
traffic
jam
is
one
of
the
most
boring
problems
for
people
living
in
big
cities.
The
fact
that
you're
moving
so
slowly
leads
to
stress,
anger
and
the
wish
that
your
car
could
just
fly
over
the
traffic
like
an
airplane.
Soon,
however,
that
wish
could
come
true.
On
May
8,
US
car?renting
company
Uber
showed
off
what
it
described
as
“the
transportation
mode
of
the
future:
on?demand
air
transport”,
reported
ABC
News.
According
to
Nikhil
Goel,
head
of
products
for
Uber
Air,
the
company's
air
taxi
service
may
launch
test
flights
in
the
US
cities
of
Dallas
and
Los
Angeles,
as
well
as
Dubai
in
the
United
Arab
Emirates,
as
early
as
2020.
If
everything
goes
according
to
plan,
passengers
will
be
able
to
fly
to
work
by
2023.
When
the
Olympics
comes
to
Los
Angeles
in
2028
,
Uber
“expects
to
have
hundreds,
if
not
thousands,
of
its
aircraft
in
the
skies,”
Goel
told
Newsweek.
So
what
would
Uber's
flying
vehicles
be
like?
They
are
small,
electric
aircrafts
that
take
off
and
land
vertically
(垂直地),
and
they
give
off
zero
emissions
(排放物)
and
are
quiet
enough
to
operate
in
cities.
Just
like
an
airplane,
the
vehicles
will
have
fixed
wings
to
help
them
glide.
But
while
a
helicopter
has
just
one
big
fixed
rotor
(旋翼),
Uber's
vehicles
will
have
multiple
rotors,
which
will
help
increase
efficiency
(效率)
while
reducing
emissions
and
noise.
Because
of
these
fixed
wings
and
multiple
rotors,
Uber's
flying
taxis
“should
be
quieter
and
safer
than
a
helicopter,”
reported
ABC
News.
However,
the
service
still
has
a
long
way
to
go
before
it's
ready
to
accept
passengers.
For
example,
to
avoid
any
potential
accidents,
Uber
is
working
with
NASA
to
study
air
traffic
control
problems
associated
with
low?flying
aircraft.
But
just
as
an
expert
commented,
“This
programme
is
revolutionary
and
future?oriented
(面向未来的).”
5.Uber's
flying
taxis

to
start
to
take
passengers
in
________.
A.2020
B.2023
C.2028
D.2030
6.How
are
Uber's
flying
taxis
different
from
helicopters?
A.They
have
one
big
rotor.
B.They
need
more
fuel
to
fly.
C.They
have
fewer
fixed
wings.
D.They
should
be
quieter
and
safer.
7.Which
is
true
about
the
flying
cars
according
to
the
passage?
A.They
can
be
as
efficient
as
airplanes
and
helicopters.
B.They
must
grow
in
larger
numbers
in
a
few
years.
C.They
nearly
do
no
harm
to
the
environment.
D.They
will
surely
help
passengers
avoid
accidents.
8.What
is
the
passage
mainly
about?
A.Uber's
plan
to
launch
flying
taxis.
B.The
advantages
of
Uber's
flying
taxis.
C.Different
opinions
about
Uber's
flying
taxis.

Everyone
wants
to
succeed
in
their

don't
they?
Even
as

achieve
success

education
will
help
you
be
a

in
society.
Try
your

for

in
school:
listen
to
the

do

you
get
into
a
better
university,
which
will
enable
you
to
have
a
bright
future.
__2__
Do
good
in
your

status,
but
also
make

Studies
show
that
people
who
volunteer
are
less

volunteer

You
don't
get
to
choose
your
teachers
or
your
family,
but
you
still
have
to
put
up
with

Learn
how
to
deal
with
people
now,
because
when
you're
an
adult,
you
don't
get
to
choose
your
boss
or
your
co?workers,
so
learn
how
to
respect
them
now.
A.Here

阅读下面短文,根据所给情节进行续写,使之构成一个完整的故事。
One
winter
Sunday,
my
little
sister,
Colleen,
and
I
built
the
greatest
snowman
ever.
We
gave
him
a
carrot
nose,
beautiful
hat,
cozy
scarf
and
gloves.
He
was
a
masterpiece
(杰作).
The
next
morning
when
looking
outside,
we
smiled
lovingly
at
him
over
our
meal.
We
gave
him
a
high
five
as
we
passed
by
on
our
way
to
school.
A
lot
of
kids
went
past
our
house,
so
he
was
the
hot
topic
at
our
school
that
morning.
It
was
our
pride!
The
day
dragged
on
until
finally
we
could
rush
home.
But
as
our
yard
came
into
sight,
we
saw
something
wrong.
The
snowman
was
gone!
We
only
found
a
broken
stick
here,
a
torn
glove
there
and
balls
of
snow
everywhere.
Worst
of
all,
the
snowman's
once?proud
carrot
nose
lay
limp
(无力的)
and
half?eaten.
What
had
happened?
We
were
both
astonished
and
angry.
But
then,
we
were
only
kids,
who
wouldn't
have
anything
take
away
our
happiness.
Actually
we
knew
only
one
thing:
Our
snowman
would
rise
again.
And
so
we
rebuilt
him.
The
next
day
we
came
home
to
find
another
mess
on
the
front
lawn
(草坪).
For
the
rest
of
the
week,
the
destruction
was
repeated
daily.
Each
afternoon
we'd
return
to
find
our
snowman
had
fallen
apart,
and
then
we
built
again.
By
Saturday
morning,
we
had
a
plan.
We
borrowed
a
really
big
bucket
(水桶)
from
Mom,
filled
it
with
water
and
left
it
outside.
The
next
morning,
it
was
frozen
solid.
We
packed
snow
all
around
the
ice_block
as
the
base
(底座)
of
the
snowman.
Then
we
built
the
other
parts
of
it
once
again.
The
trap
was
set,
and
we
waited
for
the
snowman
bullies
(破坏者)
to
come.

Paragraph
1:
On
Monday
morning,
hiding
behind
the
window,
we
soon
saw
what
we
were
waiting
for.
It
turned
out
that
there
were
three
of
them
from
our
school.
They
sneaked
up
on
our
snowman
and
sneered.
Taking
their
places
on
either
side,
they
pulled
back
their
legs
to
deliver
powerful
kicks.
But
the
moment
they
hit
the
hard
ice_block
of
the
base,_sneers
turned
into
shock,
then
agony
and
tears.
They
howled
and
cursed,
gritting
their
teeth
and
stomping
their
feet.
Paragraph
2:
Seeing
their
pained
look,
we
couldn't
help
laughing.
They
were
too
funny
as
they
hopped
away
holding
their
injured
feet.
We
just
couldn't
contain
our
happiness
and
excitement.
With
a
hearty
laugh,
we
came
out
of
hiding
and
sprang
into
the
yard
from
inside
the
house.
“An
eye
for
an
eye!
Justice
done!”
We
yelled
behind
them.
And
that
was
the
end
of
our
problems
with
the
snow
bullies.
Ever
since
then,
our
snowman
was
kept
guarded
and
intact
until
it
happily
melted
into
spring
water
and
finally
wove
into
our
sweetest
childhood
memories.
