Can
you
imagine
a
world
without
music?
Studies
show
that
public
schools
across
the
country
are
cutting
back
on
music
classes
to
save
money.
Worse,
some
schools
have
never
had
music
classes
to
begin
with.
But
without
them,
students'
academic
growth
and
emotional
health
could
suffer.
In
fact,
music
classes
are
necessary
for
all
students
in
schools.
Recent
studies
by
Brown
University
have
shown
that
students
who
received
music
education
classes
were
better
in
maths
and
reading
skills
than
those
without
music
classes.
Another
study
by
the
College
Board
found
that
students
taking
music
and
art
classes
got
higher
points.
Students'
academic
success
seems
to
depend
on
their
taking
part
in
music
education.
Music
programmes
in
public
schools
also
help
to
add
to
a
student's
sense
of
pride
and
self-confidence.
Teens
today
have
too
many
learning
tasks.
Besides,
they
have
family
problems,
self-confidence
problems,
relationship
troubles,
and
other
troubles.
All
of
these
can
stop
academic
success,
but
music
education
can
help.
A
study
by
the
Texas
Commission
on
Alcohol
and
Drug
Abuse
found
that
students
who
took
part
in
school
music
programmes
were
less
likely
to
turn
to
drugs.
Music
programmes
encourage
students
to
work
together
to
produce
an
excellent
performance.
Music
crosses
language,
class,
cultural
and
political
boundaries
(界限).
Music
allows
students
from
different
countries
to
connect.
For
example,
at
a
school
talent
show,
a
new
Japanese
student
played
a
piano
duet
(二重奏)
with
an
American
classmate.
Although
they
could
not
communicate
verbally
(口头上)
,
they
were
able
to
read
the
music
in
order
to
play
the
duet.
Two
students
from
different
cultures
worked
as
a
team
with
self-confidence
and
common
purpose
through
music.
The
gift
of
music
is
priceless.
We
need
to
be
sure
to
have
necessary
music
classes
for
all
students.
The
world
is
losing
its
music,
and
putting
music
into
schools
is
the
first
step
to
get
it
back.
1.What
can
we
learn
about
education
with
music
classes?
A.It
allows
schools
to
make
more
profits.
B.It
leads
to
a
lot
of
emotional
problems
easily.
C.It
helps
students
to
improve
their
schoolwork.
D.It
has
a
great
influence
on
the
culture
of
the
country.
2.What
do
the
two
studies
seem
to
show?
A.Not
all
students
take
part
in
music
lessons.
B.Students
with
great
success
like
to
attend
music
lessons.
C.Music
plays
an
important
role
in
students'
success.
D.Students
having
music
classes
are
better
in
all
lessons.
3.The

A.different
cultures
have

B.music

C.Japan

D.Japanese

How
to
write
an
email?
While
many
people
are
accessible
by
email,
sometimes
it
is
difficult
to
determine
how
exactly
to
write
an
email
to
them.
Here
are
some
tips
for
you
to
follow.
Write
an
appropriate
subject
line.
The
subject
line
should
tell
the
recipient
(接收者)
immediately
what
the
email
is
about.
__1__
Remember
that
your
wording
also
has
to
be
brief.
__2__
It
is
best
to
be
more
formal
rather
than
informal,
so
when
writing
to
someone
you
have
never
met
or
written
to
before,
a
“Dear
Jane
Smith”
is
appropriate.
When
addressing
someone
whom
you
are
a
little
familiar
with,
a
“Dr.
Smith”
is
okay
until
they
tell
you
to
address
them
by
their
first
name,
in
which
case
a
simple
“Jane”
will
be
okay.
__3__
Within
the
first
two
sentences
of
your
email,
your
recipient
should
know
exactly
why
you
are
writing
to
him.
Sometimes
an
introduction
may
have
to
precede
(先于)
the
sentence
that
states
why
you
are
writing,
and
sometimes
it
has
to
follow.
Use
appropriate
language.
You
may
be
used
to
using
informal
language
in
certain
social
settings.
__4__
Even
when
dealing
with
colleagues
or
friends
you
are
familiar
with,
do
not
immediately
fall
back
on
informal
language.
Keep
it
simple.
People
may
get
dozens
and
even
hundreds
of
emails
a
day.
__5__
In
that
way,
they
can
save
much
of
their
time
when
reading
emails.
A.Use
proper
greetings.
B.Express
your
ideas
clearly.
C.State
your
purpose
at
the
beginning.
D.Be
as
specific
as
possible
when
writing
the
subject.
E.However,
an
email
may
not
be
the
best
place
to
use
such
language.
F.It
is
important
to
check
the
language
to
avoid
spelling
and
grammar
mistakes.
G.It
is
always
easier
for
them
if
you
keep
your
email
as
short
and
brief
as
possible.

【语篇解读】 本文是一篇议论文。你能想象没有音乐的世界吗?如果没有音乐,学生的学业发展和情感健康可能会受到影响。本文主要论述了学校里缺乏音乐课对学生的影响和开设音乐课的意义。
1.答案与解析:C 细节理解题。根据第一段中的“But
without
them,
students'
academic
growth
and
emotional
health
could
suffer.”和第二段的内容可知,音乐课对学生的学业发展有促进作用。故选C项。
2.答案与解析:C 推理判断题。根据第二段最后一句“Students'
academic
success
seems
to
depend
on
their
taking
part
in
music
education.”可知,音乐对学生的学术成功起着重要的作用。故选C项。
3.答案与解析:B 推理判断题。根据第四段第一句“Music
crosses
language,
class,
cultural
and
political
boundaries.”可知,第四段举例说明音乐无国界,能让不同国家的人交流。故选B项。
4.答案与解析:B 主旨大意题。本文主要论述了学校里缺乏音乐课对学生的影响和开设音乐课的意义。因此,最佳题目应是Music
Education
in
Schools。故选B项。
Ⅱ.七选五
【语篇解读】 本文是一篇说明文。在日常生活中电子邮件非常普及,但是很多人都不知道如何写好一封电子邮件,本文中给出了五条相关的建议。
1.答案与解析:D 根据上文的“The
subject
line
should
tell
the
recipient
immediately
what
the
email
is
about.”可知,电子邮件的主题行是要让接收者很快明白邮件内容,所以主题行的内容要尽量写清楚,D项符合上下文语境。
2.答案与解析:A 空格后面的两个句子介绍了对于熟悉的人应该如何称呼;对于不熟悉的人又该如何称呼。所以本段应该与如何称呼邮件的接收方有关。A项“Use
proper
greetings.”可作为主题句。
3.答案与解析:C 根据空格后第一句“Within
the
first
two
sentences
of
your
email,
your
recipient
should
know
exactly
why
you
are
writing
to
him.”可知,在邮件的前两句中,你要让接收者明确地知道你写信的原因,也就是说在邮件开头部分说明你的写信目的,所以选C项。
4.答案与解析:E 根据本段最后一句“Even
when
dealing
with
colleagues
or
friends
you
are
familiar
with,
do
not
immediately
fall
back
on
informal
language.”可知,即使在给熟悉的同事或朋友写邮件时,也不要用非正式的语言,也就是说在邮件里尽量不要使用非正式的用语。E项符合上下文语境。
5.答案与解析:G 根据空格前面的句子“People
may
get
dozens
and
even
hundreds
of
emails
a
day.”可知,人们一天中可能会处理成百上千封邮件。故此处应表达邮件内容要尽可能地简洁明了。而且本段的主题句是“Keep
it
simple”,所以G项既与本段主旨相符,也与上下文语境一致。
Ⅲ.完形填空

1.答案与解析:B 考查名词。根据上文的“strong
feeling”可知anger最合乎文意。
2.答案与解析:C 考查名词。下文所列举的例子“STOP
signs”和“fire
engines”都属于危险信号,故选择danger。
3.答案与解析:B 考查名词。根据常识,橙色应是秋天树叶的颜色,故应选leaves。
4.答案与解析:A 考查形容词。下文提到人们把黄色和幸福联系起来,说明橙色是一个充满生机的颜色,故选lively。
5.答案与解析:C 考查名词。下文提到黄色是令人愉快的颜色,根据常识太阳光的颜色是黄色,故选sunlight。
6.答案与解析:B 考查名词。绿色是春季里草的颜色,故选spring。
7.答案与解析:C 考查动词。根据two
groups
of
colors:
warm
colors
and
cool
colors。(两种颜色:暖色和冷色)。结合选项speak后面往往接某种语言作宾语;say后面常接说话的内容;tell的宾语一般是人;talk
about
sth.意为“谈论某事物”。故C为正确选项。
8.答案与解析:B 考查名词。根据上文对yellow的解释。说明yellow也属于warm
color。
9.答案与解析:C 考查形容词。与下文喜欢冷色调的人相对应,再根据上文对各种暖色调的选择,active合乎文意为正确选项。
10.答案与解析:D 考查代词。others相当于other
people意为“别的人”。another指“另一个”。other
one不可单独使用,the
other
one指“另外的一个”。
11.答案与解析:A 考查名词。四个选项中只有black可归纳到冷色调当中去。
12.答案与解析:B 考查动词。go
round意为“到处走动”;go
off意为“离开,爆炸”;go
along意为“前进,进行”;go
by意为“走过,流逝”。根据文意,应选go
by。
13.答案与解析:B 考查名词。根据上文,暖色调的环境下时间似乎过得更慢,说明暖色调是用来装饰居室和饭馆的好方法,故选择way。
14.答案与解析:C 考查名词。比较四个场所只有饭馆适合使用暖色调。
15.答案与解析:B 考查形容词。与暖色调相对立,冷色调适用于办公室,以使人感觉时间过得比较快。
Ⅳ.语法填空
【语篇解读】 本文是一篇说明文,介绍了孩子们上学不仅是为了学习语言、历史、科学等知识,更重要的是学会如何学习。
1.答案与解析:probably 考查副词。句意:你也许会说他们要去学习语言、历史、科学和一些其他知识。修饰动词say应用副词probably。
2.答案与解析:things 考查名词复数。根据空前these可知本空应用名词复数形式。
3.答案与解析:for 考查介词。prepare
sb.
for
sth.意为“让某人为某事做好准备”,故本空应用介词for。
4.答案与解析:themselves 考查代词。when引导的从句的主语为they,故本空应用反身代词themselves作介词for的宾语,work
for
themselves意为“为他们自己工作”。
5.答案与解析:the 考查冠词。句意:但那是他们上学的唯一理由吗?根据空后only可知,本空应用定冠词the,
the

MySpace,
the
social
networking
website,
is
different
from
other
websites
which
only
provide
stories
about
other
people.
MySpace
is
a
place
that
allows
you
to
broadcast
your
own
stories
and
personal
information
to
as
many
people
as
you
like.
Started
two
years
ago,
it
is
a
big
source
of
information
for
and
about
American
kids.
Teenagers
and
their
parents
feel
very
different
about
it.
Teens
are
rushing
to
join
the
site,not
sharing
their
parents'
worries.
It
signals
yet
another
generation
gap
in
the
digital
era.
For
teenagers,
it
is
reliable
network
to
keep
in
touch
with
their
friends.
They
will
often
list
their
surnames,
birthdays,
after-school
jobs,
school
clubs,
hobbies
and
other
personal
information.
“MySpace
is
an
easy

But
if
I

on

said
Abby
Van

of
Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania.
Parents
on
the

2.Why
are
some
parents
against

want
to
pay

it
takes
up
too
much
of
their
children's

D.Because
troublemakers

Digital
Era
B
Five
years
ago,
when
I
taught
art
at
a
school
in
Seattle,
I
used
Tinkertoys
as
a
test
at
the
beginning
of
a
term
to
find
out
something
about
my
students.
I
put
a
small
set
of
Tinkertoys
in
front
of
each
student,
and
said,
“Make
something
out
of
the
Tinkertoys.
You
have
45
minutes
today—and
45
minutes
each
day
for
the
rest
of
the
week.”
A
few
students
hesitated
to
start.
They
waited
to
see
what
the
rest
of
the
class
would
do.
Several
others
checked
the
instructions
and
made
something
according
to
one
of
the
model
planes
provided.
Another
group
built
something
out
of
their
own
imaginations.
Once
I
had
a
boy
who
worked
experimentally
with
Tinkertoys
in
his
free
time.
His
constructions
filled
a
shelf
in
the
art
classroom
and
a
good
part
of
his
bedroom
at
home.
I
was
delighted
at
the
presence
of
such
a
student.
Here
was
an
exceptionally
creative
mind
at
work.
His
presence
meant
that
I
had
an
unexpected
teaching
assistant
in
class
whose
creativity
would
infect
(感染)
other
students.
Encouraging
this
kind
of
thinking
has
a
downside.
I
ran
the
risk
of
losing
those
students
who
had
a
different
style
of
thinking.
Without
fail
one
would
declare,
“But
I'm
just
not
creative.”
“Do
you
dream
at
night
when
you're
asleep?”
“Oh,
sure.”
“So
tell
me
one
of
your
most
interesting
dreams.”
The
student
would
tell
something
wildly
imaginative.
Flying
in
the
sky
or
in
a
time
machine
or
growing
three
heads.
“That's
pretty
creative.
Who
does
that
for
you?”
“Nobody.
I
do
it.”
“Really—at
night,
when
you're
asleep?”
“
Sure.”
“Try
doing
it
in
the
daytime,
in
class,
okay?”
5.Why
did
the
teacher
use
Tinkertoys
in
class?
A.To
know
more
about
the
students.
B.To
make
the
lessons
more
exciting.
C.To
raise
the
students'
interest
in
art.
D.To
teach
the
students
about
toy
design.
6.What
do
we
know
about
the
boy
mentioned
in
Paragraph
3?
A.He
liked
to
help
his
teacher.
B.He
preferred
to
study
alone.
C.He
was
active
in
class.
D.He
was
imaginative.
7.What
does
the
underlined
word
“downside”
in
Paragraph
4
probably
mean?
A.Mistake.
B.Drawback.
C.Difficulty.
D.Burden.
8.Why
did
the
teacher
ask
the
students
to
talk
about
their
dreams?
A.To
help
them
to
see
their
creativity.
B.To
find
out
about
their
sleeping
habits.
C.To
help
them
to
improve
their
memory.
D.To
find
out
about
their
ways
of
thinking.
C
Little
boys
don't
like
reading
any
more
and
even
little
girls
don't
enjoy
it
as
much
as
they
once
did:
This
is
the
accepted
wisdom
inside
the
book
industry—and
in
many
British
families,
too.
Parents
and
booksellers
tend
to
blame
the
growing
appeal
of
online
entertainment
and
handheld
games,
but
research
from
the
US
is
challenging
these
assumptions.
Michael
Norris,
an
American
publishing
expert,
will
release
findings
in
the
monthly
Book
Publishing
Report
which
show
that,
despite
the
best
intentions,
it
is
well-meaning
mothers
and
fathers
who
often
stop
their
sons
and
daughters
from
picking
up
the
reading
habit.
“Parents
have
too
much
of
a
role
in
deciding
which
books
their
children
are
going
to
read,”
said
Norris.
“It
is
turning
children
off.
”
The
results
of
a
number
of
surveys
Norris
has
carried
out
with
hundreds
of
American
booksellers
over
the
past
year
have
provided
the
basis
for
a
series
of
tips
for
parents
designed
to
help
children
find
enjoyment
in
books.
One
of
his
tips
is
to
make
sure
children
talk
directly
to
a
librarian
or
a
bookseller,
while
parents
stand
well
back.
Parents
should
allow
children
to
choose
their
own
reading
material.
“Even
if
a
mother
or
father
is
just
standing
with
the
child
when
the
bookseller
asks
them
what
they
like
to
read,
we
have
found
that
the
child
will
give
an
answer
they
think
their
parent
wants
to
hear.
It
will
not
be
the
same
answer
they
would
give
alone,”
said
Norris.
Norris's
another
tip
for
parents
is
that
they
do
not
attempt
to
limit
books
to
one
age
range.
“What
we
have
found
is
that
parents
should
not
worry
whether
a
title
looks
too
young
or
too
old
for
a
child.
If
a
book
has
caught
their
attention,
then
let
them
take
it.”
Children,
added
Norris,
often
enjoy
reading
books
that
are
easy
for
them
to
understand.
“My
father
made
me
read
The
Hunt
for
Red
October
by
Tom
Clancy
when
I
was
much
too
young
and
I
have
never
read
another
Clancy
since,”
said
Norris.
9.What
did
Norris
think
prevents
children
from
enjoying
reading?
A.Children's
interest
in
handheld
games.
B.The
declining
market
of
the
book
industry.
C.Parents'
influence
on
children's
book
selection.
D.The
growing
popularity
of
online
entertainment.
10.What
do
we
learn
about
the
new
study?
A.It's
published
to
improve
book
sales.
B.It
mainly
focuses
on
British
families.
C.It
involves
many
years'
efforts.
D.It
was
conducted
by
Norris.
11.What
should
parents
do
to
help
kids
get
their
favourite
books
at
bookstores?
A.Introduce
new
books
regularly.
B.Let
them
talk
with
booksellers
alone.
C.Discuss
popular
books
with
children.
D.Often
seek
expert
advice
from
booksellers.
12.What
did
Norris
think
of
his
father's
act?
A.It
was
totally
wrong.
B.It
was
quite
necessary.
C.It
aroused
his
interest
in
reading.
D.It
showed
parents'
worries
about
kids.
Ⅱ.七选五
How
to
make
friends
at
a
new
school
Starting
with
a
new
school
can
be
difficult.
Everything
is
nothing
like
your
previous
school,
and
you
don't
even
know
where
to
go
for
your
own
classes.
__1__
However,
if
you
use
these
skills,
you
can
quickly
turn
some
of
those
strangers
into
friends.
Be
yourself.
__2__
If
some
people
don't
accept
you,
they're
not
the
kind
of
friend
you
need.
People
often
stay
together
because
they
have
similar
interests.
For
example,
someone
who
does
a
lot
of
sports
may
make
friends
with
those
who
also
run
or
swim
a
lot.
__3__
Remember
to
be
nice
to
the
people
you
meet
at
your
new
school.
If
you
think
that
you
will
say
something
that
may
make
them
feel
sad,
do
not
say
anything
and
just
nod
your
head
if
they
talk
to
you.
Also,
remember
to
be
as
helpful
as
possible!
Believe
in
yourself.
A
smile
goes
a
long
way.
When
you
walk
in
the
halls,
don't
keep
your
eyes
on
the
floor.
Raise
your
head
and
make
eye
contact
(接触)
with
other
people.
__4__
Introduce
yourself.
Tell
them
your
name
and
where
you're
from.
Remember
people's
names.
You
like
it
when
people
use
your
name,
and
so
do
other
people.
__5__
Besides,
ask
them
in
a
kind
way
if
they
have
a
nickname
(昵称).
You'd
be
amazed
that
this
might
come
in
handy.
A.Be
friendly
to
others.
B.Making
new
friends
can
be
hard,
too.
C.Take
part
in
after-school
activites
you
like.
D.Never
change
who
you
are
to
try
to
fit
in.
E.If
you
see
someone
you
know,
smile
or
say
“Hi”.
F.People
may
become
angry
if
you
just
begin
by
saying
“Hey”
each
time.
G.Don't
sit
at
the
back
of
the
classroom
where
other
people
don't
notice
you!

【语篇解读】 本文属于记叙文。作者通过让学生拼装玩具,发现并鼓励学生的创造性和想象力。
5.答案与解析:A 推理判断题。根据文章第二段可知,当作者把拼装式玩具放在学生面前的时候,有些学生犹豫着,在等着看别人如何行动,有一些学生查看了使用说明并根据提供的飞机模型做出了一些东西。而另外一些学生则根据自己的想象力做出了一些东西。通过观察作者对不同学生的性格有了不同的理解,所以A项正确。
6.答案与解析:D 推理判断题。由文章第三段第一、二句“Once
I

ran
the
risk
of
losing
those

12.答案与解析:A 推理判断题。根据最后一段中诺里斯说:“在我很小的时候,我父亲让我读了汤姆·克兰西的《猎杀红色十月》。从那以后,我再也没有读过克兰西的书。”可知,诺里斯认为他的父亲让他读了不合适的书。故选A项。
Ⅱ.七选五
【语篇解读】 本文是一篇说明文,介绍了如何在一个新的学校交朋友。
1.答案与解析:B 由空格前面的内容可知在一所新学校开始可能很困难。一切和你原来的学校都不一样,你甚至不知道到哪里去上你自己的课。由此可知,交新朋友也可能是困难的。B项关键词为too。
2.答案与解析:D 根据本段标题句“Be
yourself.
(做你自己)”及空后句“If
some
people
don't
accept
you,
they're
not
the
kind
of
friend
you
need.
(如果有些人不接受你,他们就不是你需要的那种朋友)”可知,D项(永远不要改变你自己来试着融入其中)符合上下文文意。
3.答案与解析:A 根据位置可知本空是段落标题句,且根据前后段的段落标题句可知本空应用短小精悍的祈使句。本段第一句“Remember
to
be
nice
to
the
people
you
meet
at
your
new
school.”中nice与A项中的friendly同义。
4.答案与解析:E 由空格前面内容讲要抬起头,与他人目光接触,及空格后面内容讲做自我介绍,告诉他们你的名字和你来自哪里可知E项(如果你看见你认识的人,要微笑或说一声“嗨”)符合上下文文意。
5.答案与解析:F 上句句意:你喜欢别人叫你的名字,其他人也是这样。下句句意:另外,如果他们有一个昵称,请用亲切的方式叫他们。故F项(如果你每次一开始就先说“嘿”,人们可能会生气的)符合上下文文意。

Japanese
students
work
very

many
are
unhappy.
They
feel
heavy

Most
students
are
always
told
by
their
parents
to
study
harder
and
better
so
that
they
can
have
a
wonderful
life
in
the
future.
Though
this
may
be
a

idea
for
those
very
bright
students,
it
can
have
terrible
results
for
many
students
who

Many
of
them
have
tried
very

have

their

Such

everyone
else
they
meet
and
they
don't

They

It
is
surprising
that
though
most
Japanese

they

Many
parents
feel
that
they

that
it

To

a

Many
Japanese

Child

Almost
40%

how
to

and
how

1.Who

D.Those

Before
you

Why
would
someone
want

students,
many
of

couldn't

less,
or
to
get
paid
very
little
compared
with
the

You
may
have
thought
that
the
only
thing
I
was
learning
from
you
was
the
course,
but
that's
not
all
I
learnt.
From

You
always
tried
to
make

charming
so
that
we

However,
those
days

gone
by.
Whenever
I

you
were
the
exact

to
turn

I
would

there

You

You
could
have
gone
back
home
after
the
bell

Instead,
you
chose
to
stay
and
care
about
what
your
students
did.
You
didn't
only
care
about
my
learning,
but
you
also
cared
about
other
things
I
was
involved
in.
At
the
beginning
of

we

and
when
I
came
back
the

day,
you
would
ask
me
how
it
went.
Many
of
the
teachers
never
bothered
to
ask
what
I
liked
to
do.
These
things
showed
me
the
value
of
teaching.
They
showed
me
how
much
of
an
influence
a
teacher
can
have
on
a
student.
I
want
to
be
the
one
that
influences
students
and
pushes
them
towards
success.
I
want
students
to
leave
my
classroom
thinking
that
their
time
was
worthwhile
(值得的).
I
want
to
be
the
inspiration
for
them
that
you
were
for
me.
Whenever
it
gets
hard
for
me
to
continue
on
this
path,
I'll
remember
you
and
what
you
did
for
me.
4.What

Paragraph

did
the

his
students

in?
A.The
care
and
passion
that
teachers

When
I
was
a
little
girl,
I
remember
that
when
my
dad
was
repairing
something,
he
would
ask
me
to
hold
the
hammer,
so
we
would
have
time
for
a
conversation
with
each
other.
I
never
saw
my
dad
drinking
or
taking
a
night
out.
All
he
did
after
work
was
taking
care
of
his
family.
I
grew
up
and
left
home
for
college,
and
since
then
my
dad
had
been
calling
me
every
Sunday
morning.
And
when
I
bought
a
house
several
years
later,
my
dad
painted
it
by
himself
in
the
fierce
summer
heat.
All
he
asked
was
to
talk
to
him,
but
I
was
too
busy
those
days.
Four
years
ago,
my
dad
visited
me.
He
spent
many
hours
putting
together
a
swing
for
my
daughter.
He
asked
me
to
have
a
talk
with
him,
but
I
had
to
prepare
for
a
trip
that
weekend.
One
Sunday
morning
we
had
a
telephone
talk
as
usual.
I
noticed
that
my
dad
had
forgotten
some
things
that
we
discussed
lately.
I
was
in
a
hurry,
so
our
conversation
was
short.
Several
hours
later
that
day
I
received
a
call.
My
father
was
in
the
hospital.
Immediately
I
bought
a

ticket

on
my

I

all

By
the

I
arrived

hospital,
my
father
had
passed
away.
Now
it
was
he
who
did
not
have

for
a

with
me.
I
realized
how
little
I
knew
about
my
dad,
his
deepest
thoughts
and
his
dreams.
After
his
death
I
learned
much
more
about
him
and
even
more
about
myself.
All
he
ever
wanted
was
my
time.
And
now
he
has
all
my
attention
every
single
day.

Ⅱ.七选五
__1__
You
probably
think
you
will
never
be
a
top
student.
This
is
not
necessarily
so,
however.
Anyone
can
become
a
better
student
if
he
or
she
wants
to.
Here's
how:
Plan
your
time
carefully.
When
planning
your
work,
you
should
make
a
list
of
things
that
you
have
to
do.
After
making
this
list,
you
should
make
a
schedule
of
your
time.
First
your
time
for
eating,
sleeping,
dressing,
etc.
Then
decide
a
good,
regular
time
for
studying.
__2__
A
weekly
schedule
may
not
solve
all
your
problems,
but
it
will
force
you
to
realize
what
is
happening
to
your
time.
Find
a
good
place
to
study.
Look
around
the
house
for
an
area
suitable
for
study.
Keep
this
space,
which
may
be
a
desk
or
simply
a
corner
of
your
room,
free
of
everything
but
study
materials.
No
games,
radios,
or
television.
When
you
sit
down
to
study,
concentrate
on
the
subject.
Make
good
use
of
your
time
in
class.
__3__
Listening
carefully
in
class
means
less
work
later.
Taking
notes
will
help
you
remember
what
the
teacher
says.
Study
regularly.
When
you
get
home
from
school,
go
over
your
notes,
review
the
important
points
that
your
teacher
is
going
to
discuss
the
next
day,
and
read
that
material.
__4__
If
you
do
these
things
regularly,
the
material
will
become
more
meaningful,
and
you'll
remember
it
longer.
Develop
a
good
attitude
towards
tests.
The
purpose
of
a
test
is
to
show
what
you
have
learned
about
a
subject.
This
helps
you
remember
your
new
knowledge.
The
world
won't
end
if
you
don't
pass
a
test,
so
don't
be
over
worried.
__5__
You
will
probably
discover
many
others
after
you
have
tried
these.
A.Take
advantage
of
class
time
to
listen
to
everything
the
teacher
says.
B.Don't
forget
to
set
aside
enough
time
for
entertainment.
C.There
are
other
methods
that
might
help
you
with
your
studying.
D.Maybe
you
are
an
average
student.
E.No
one
can
become
a
top
student
unless
he
or
she
works
hard.
F.Make
full
use
of
class
time
to
take
notes
of
what
the
teacher
says
in
class.
G.This
will
help
you
understand
the
next
class.

第二节:读后续写
阅读下面短文,根据所给情节进行续写,使之构成一个完整的故事。
The
eight-year-old
Carol
lived
with
her
father
David,
Mother
May
and
elder
brother
Rob.
The
little
family
happily
lived
in
a
beautiful
village
surrounded
with
beautiful_nature.
The
village
was
at
the
foot
of
a
mountain,
with
beautiful
views
of
the
snowy
mountain.
The
family
survived
on
growing
seasonal
plants
and
trees.
Their
life
was
totally
surrounded
by
nature
and
beauty.
While
they
lived
a
very
happy
life,
Carol
did
not
love
the
beautiful
atmosphere
of
the
village.
She
really
wanted
to
move
into
the
city
and
enjoy
the
city
life.
She
wanted
to
shop,
move
around
the
city,
watch
movies,_and
eat
in
fantastic
restaurants
and
cafes,
etc.
However,
there
was
hardly
any
chance
that
Carol's
family
moved
to
the
city
as
they
had
everything
in
the
village.
One
day,
Carol
fell
asleep
during
the
early
noon
and
she
had
a
sound
sleep.
Of

she
had
a

She
saw
her

grandmother
granted
her
a
wish.
Carol
responded
that
she
would

to
enjoy
the

as
she
always
desired.
Grandmother
understood
the
desire
of
Carol,
but
still
wanted
to
convince
her
that
the
peaceful
village
life
is
better
than
the
city_life.
She
told
Carol,
“Baby,
you
cannot
have
access
to
fresh
fruits
and
vegetables
from
plants
as
you
have
at
your
home.
You
cannot
breathe
the
fresh
air.
You
cannot
play
with
animals.
You
can
hardly
find
any
trees.
You
will
not
find
peace
as
you
see
here!
Do
you
still
want
to
go
to
the
city?”
Without
hearing
the
concerns,
Carol
asked
her
grandmother
to
grant
the
wish.
Grandmother
granted
her
wish,
but
with
a
condition.
Carol
was
told
that
she
would
only
have
6
hours
to
spend
in
the
city.
Later,
she
would
return
to
the
village.
Carol
agreed.

Ⅲ.语法填空
【语篇解读】 本文是一篇说明文,介绍了网络上流行的“炫富摔”。它从国外的社交媒体火到中国的微博,吸引了各行各业的人参与其中。
1.答案与解析:photos photo是可数名词,此处指不止一张照片,所以应用复数形式。故选photos。
2.答案与解析:began 设空处是定语从句的谓语动词,动作发生在过去,所以应用一般过去时。故填began。
3.答案与解析:widely 修饰was
regarded应用副词。widely意为“广泛地”。故填widely。
4.答案与解析:to
show a
way
to
do
sth.意为“做某事的方式”,所以此处应用不定式作定语。故填to
show。
5.答案与解析:lying 此处应用非谓语动词作伴随状语,lie与句子主语People之间是逻辑上的主动关系,所以应用现在分词。故填lying。
6.答案与解析:what 设空处引导宾语从句,作show的宾语,从句中consider后缺少宾语,表示“……的东西”,所以应用连接代词what。
7.答案与解析:its make
one's
way
to为固定搭配,意为“转向;向……进发”。故填its。
8.答案与解析:is 本句的主语是A
major

realized
that
her
life
in
the
village
with
her
family
was
far
more
wonderful
than
the
city
life.
Carol
understood
that
she
was
having
a
more
joyful
life.
She
shared
her
dream
with
her
family
while
enjoying
the
fresh
fruits
and
vegetables,
and
they
laughed
together.
Carol
also
developed
love
for
plants,
animals
and
beautiful_nature.
