Teaching model Reading and writing

Teaching aims:
Knowledge aim:
1.Master the words and phrases below: adventure, get into trouble, run away, escape, cave, dead, , neighbour, funeral, surprised, alive, southern, state, pay for, action, everyday, dialogue.
2.Master the present passive voice.
Ability aim:Understand the introduction and the review of a literary work, form the ability of writing a book review.
Emotional aim:Try to motivate students’ interests in reading by learning the classics and the writer, .
Teaching importance 1. Understand the introduction and the book review of a classic by using the reading strategies like skimming and intensive reading
2. Master the present passive voice.
Teaching difficulties 1. Talk about your favorite book and reasons.
2. Learn to write a book review.
