一、教学目标

二、教材分析
本课重点介绍了国际共产主义战士——诺曼.白求恩的伟大事迹。 结合模块任务,描写一位自己心目中的英雄,同时,这一模块是中考话题复习的重要话题。
三、学情分析
经过了两年的英语学习,学生们基本具备了英语语言听、说、读、写能力,可以适当的加入中考相关题型链接,学以致用,以练促学。
四、教学流程
Step 1 Free talk(3’)
Talk about the heroes and do a small interview.
1. What kind of person is a hero?
2. Who is the hero in your heart? He is a hero because....
Heroes are around us. Heroes can be anyone we admire and respect deeply. Let抯 see who is the hero in Wang Lingling抯 heart.
Step 2 Lead-in (2)
Use the words in the box to introduce Norman Bethune to us. Clear the new words and phrases.
eg.His name was Norman Bethune.
Norman Bethune is a Canadian.
He saved many lives in China.
He treated wounded soldiers in the war in China.
Step 3 Reading(20)
Pre-reading:
Predict the genre and main character,the order of this passage from the title and the picture.
This is a narration and Bethune is the hero. The writer will choose time order.
While-reading:
1st reading : Skim the passage and divide the passage into three parts.
Part 1(1): General introduction to Behtune.
Part 2(2-4): Life story:What made him a hero in China.
Part 3(5): Evaluation: He is still remembered today.
2nd reading: Read again and match the main idea with each paragraph.

五、教学反思
这次收获颇多,从资料准备等各个方面我投入了很多的心血,这也让我在英语教学方面有了快速地成长。
首先,在教学活动过程中,有清晰的思路和对课堂的把握和调控,充分体现了教师的主导作用与学生的主体作用相结合的教学理念。本课能结合模块话题对学生的阅读能力和技巧给予一定的指导,在导入环节多设置贴近学生生活的问题,启发学生对于本课的兴趣和表达的热情。在阅读环节注重阅读方法的渗透,引导学生根据标题和图片预测体裁、主要角色和写作手法等。阅读环节层层递进,由总体理解到细节信息提取,并应用在练习中。
本课注重对学生的思维训练,启发学生的发散思维,特别是对于文章的深层,设置。注重对学生的情感教育,引导学生有积极乐观的价值观,点燃他们对英雄的尊敬和崇拜,促进学生人格发展。
本课新单词的输入还不够扎实,词汇不仅要教还要落到实处,能在课堂上落实的东西不要指望学生课后或课前自觉去完成。课堂上新单词的教授还是十分重要的,可以用图片,造句,课堂记单词大比拼去落实,然后再用一些练习。这样课堂效果会更好。
每一次上课都是一种历练和成长,我会在今后的英语教学工作中继续努力,不断提高自己的能力和素养,改进了自己的缺陷和不足,争取更大的进步。
