数字 基数词形式 例词
0~12 无规律可言,应逐一进行记忆 zero,one,two,three...ten,eleven,twelve
13~19 表示“十几”,在个位数后加后缀-teen。 一般:fourteen,sixteen,seventeen,
nineteen特殊:thirteen,fifteen,eighteen
20~90整十位数 表示“几十”在个位数后加后缀-ty 一般:sixty,seventy,ninety
特殊twenty,thirty,forty,fifty,eighty
21~99几十几 整十位数加个位数,中间 加上连字符“-” twenty-onethirty-sixsixty-five
2.基数词的表达法
基数词构成记忆歌诀
基数词,不难记,找出规律很容易。
零至十二形各异,一个一个单独记。
后加-teen为“十几”,thirteen,fifteen看仔细,eighteen只有一个t。
表示“几十”要加-ty,twenty,thirty是特例。
forty,fifty更厉害,和eighty一样搞例外。
表示数字“几十几”,连字符号要切记。
若要表示“几百几”,and 常把百、十系。
还有一点需注意,几百后别把-s立。
3.基数词的常见用法
(1)用来表示人、物的数量,基数词放在名词前面。
I have twelve baseballs.我有12个棒球。
(2)表示年龄,基数词放在years old (可以省略)的前面。
My father is thirty-seven(years old).
我爸爸37岁。
(3)用来计算。
Eight and nine is seventeen.
8加9等于17。
(4)表示顺序、编号等,一般放在名词后面。
—Which class are you in ——你在哪个班
—I’m in Class 3.——我在三班。
(5)用来表示时间。
It’s eleven o’clock.11点了。
