In this period, we will focus on the listening part of this unit. (Section A 1b-2c), besides, we will also hold some activities to practice students’ speaking ability. We will learn how to accept and decline friends’ invitation by sentences types “Sure, I’d love to.” and“I’m sorry, I can’t. I have to do sth”.

Review sentence structure:What are you doing this weekend
Learn new word “lesson 、 concert ”, and new sentence" I’m sorry, I can’t. I have to …..“.

Understand and write the information when they do listening tasks.
Know how to invite friends to come to party, and how to accept or decline invitation by oral practice.

We should have obligation.

Vocabulary:lesson concert
Language structures:Send an invitation by “Can… ”.
Accept an invitation by “Sure, I’d love to.”
Decline an invitation by “I’m sorry, I can’t. I have to ……”and give a proper reason.

Step1 Warming-up
Free talk “Can you ……. ”( dance/draw pictures/swim/take photos/sing an English song )
Step 2 Presentation (1a)

4) Competition of choose number.
Step 3 Listening (1b)
1)Free talk about the picture.
2) Play the tape two times.
