Period Three
Teaching Type Reading and writing
Analysis of the Material Section B 3a,3b. This e-mail message is very easy for students to understand, and it provides reading and writing practice using the target language. It can be retold by the students, and even let the students recite.
Teaching Aims

3: recite Section B 3a.

Write an e-mail without book.

Change the third person into the first person.

Teaching Procedure
Step one: Pre-writing
1: Read Section B 3a fast and answer 3 questions.
2: Read Section B again and fill in the chart.
3: Retell 3a.
4: Recite 3a.
5: Fill in the blanks.
(设计意图:这边阅读理解材料是下面写作的基础。我采用循序渐进,布置任务难度层层递增的思路,设计这一部分。先是速度了解大意,然后写在表格了解文章结构,再是让学生进行人称上的转换进行复述。最后是给时间让学生去背。检验学生背的效果是让学生直接挖空填短语。学生熟练了,为下面写作环节的开展奠定基础。)
Step two: While-writing
1: Finish 3b quickly and ask students to read aloud their own message.
2: Read another passage and complete it.
3: Write an e-mail to a friend and write down the reason why you can’t visit next week.
(设计意图:这时学生的动笔时间。之前学生有背3a,所以在完成3b时,应该会很顺利的完成,他们会有少许成就感。接着,我引入课外一篇相似文章,让学生动笔补充完整,锻炼的是学生对目标短语的进一步掌握和理解。最后,我留大量时间,让学生写一篇文章。完成写作的从短语到句到篇章的递进。)
Step three: Post-writing.
Let several students present their composition and guide students to find some writing mistakes.
(设计意图:学生完成了写作任务,老师把他们的范文放在投影仪上进行展示,并带领同学发现其优点和错误地方。反馈环节。)
Step Five: homework:
Level 1: Can read 3a fluently.
Level 2: Recite 3a and do the translation.
(设计意图:分层次布置家作。翻译很关键。是理解文章的基础。)
