(1)be ready to do sth.准备好去做某事。
相当于get ready to do sth.,意为“准备好做某事”

动词catch意为“接住;抓住”。

(2)catch还意为“捕获;捉住”。

(3)catch还可表示及时赶上(汽车、火车等)。
例如:He got up early to catch the train to city.
他起床很早,以便赶上进城的火车。
3.You hit my head. 你打着我的头了。
hit 打,击中的意思。在此处的hit 是过去式。
(2)hit...with...用……打……。
例如:I hit the dog with a stick.我用棍子打了那只狗。
(3)hit侧重“打中”,有时也表示“打一下”。
hit sb.on the...表示“打……部位”。

get to+地点名词/reach+地点名词.也表示到达某地。

called还可以意为“名叫……” 相当于 “named”

Riding a bike is exercise.骑自行车是锻炼。
动名词短语riding a bike在句中作主语。动名词是动词的一种非限定形式,它在句子中起名词的作用,可单独或引导短语用作主语、宾语、表语或介词的宾语。例如:
My favourite sport is skating.我最喜欢的运动是滑冰。
动名词是动词的一种形式,因此也具有行动的某些特点,它可以有自己的宾语或状语。例如:
