Step1
Warm-up and Lead-in
Show the student some pictures, like The Monkey King. Ask the students: What stories have you read? And then tell about the stories and watch a movie about Alice ,then lead in today’s topic.
Purpose of my designing: By telling about the stories they will know today’s lesson has something to do with their discussion.(还原知识,改变知识形态)
PPT,flash and a movie make warming up exciting and intreresting.
Step2
Presentation
1. Learn the new characters , these new words and listen to Activity 1and 2.
2. Learn the dialogue.
I’ll use PPT to teach the characters and new words.
I’ll use a flash to present the whole
dialogue and finish the question tasks, I’ll explain the knowledge points when they are retelling.
Purpose of my designing:
Let the students have a chance to practise their listening and speaking abilities.

Muitimedia,They can learn them quickly and easily. The flash can provide a real situation with its sound and pictures.
Step 3
The grammar learning
When they retell the story,pay attention to the expressions of the past continuous .I’ll write the key points on the blackboard and teach them.

To make the students master the new grammar easily .(知识系统学习)
The teaching is more direct.
Step 4
Practising
Complete Act 3 and 4. Do an interview in Act 6 and have a quiz.
Purpose of my designing:
The students will know how to use the new knowledge.(理论知识与实践操作)
To save the time for class.
Step 5
Group evaluation
To see which group’s score is the most. The group is the winner.Give some flowers and congratulations.
Purpose of my designing:
To encourage them to take part in the activities in class.
The flowers and clapping encourage the students.
