一、教材分析
《新目标》(Go For It)是人教社出版的课程标准系列教材之一的英语教材, 它采用任务型语言教学模式,融汇话题,交际功能和语言结构,形成了一套循序渐近的生活化的学习程序。每个单元都列出明确的语言目标,主要的功能项目与语法结构,需要掌握的基本词汇,幷分为AB两部分。A部分是基本的语言内容,B部分是知识的扩展和综合的语言运用。我说课的内容是A部分基本的语言内容和文化知识。主要是通过对一些国家的风俗习惯,礼仪差异,时间观念和饮食文化的学习,进一步提高学生对文明生活的认识,加深学生对中外文化的了解,拓展学生的文化视野。

(1)Knowledge aims:
1).Key Vocabulary:Bow, kiss, be supposed to, shake hands, customs。

What are people in Korea supposed to do when they meet for the first time
(2) Ability aims:
1). Train students’ listening ability
2).Train students ’communicative competence.
(3). Emotional aims:
Let the Ss think about different customs.
2、教学目标
以谈论“习俗”为话题,了解各地不同的文化知识,从而让学生知道哪些是应该做的,哪些是不应该做的,要学会尊重不同的文化,养成良好的行为习惯,培养学生的学生兴趣。
本节课我力争做到把知识的训练、能力的培养、英语素养的提高和学习方法的指导有机地结合起来。
3、教学重点、难点
根据课程标准的要求和以上的教学目标。
我确定本节的重点为:
Talk about what you’re supposed to do and what you aren’t supposed to do.
本节课的难点是:
1)How to train students’ listening ability
2)How to train students’ communicative competence
3)Talk about different customs and table manners
二、教法设计
1、本节课我采用以学生为主体,以任务为中心和以活动为方式教学方法。在整个教学流程设计上力求充分体现“以学生发展为本”的教育理念,努力构建探索型的任务型教学模式课堂教学模式。
2、采用多媒体课件,增大教学容量和增强直观性。
三、学法指导
俗话说“教学有法,但无定法,贵在得法。”
本节课我鼓励和引导学生采用自主探索与合作交流相结合的方式进行学习。我的想法是以学生的自主完成任务为主,以突出重点、突破难点、发展学生能力素养为目的。注重师生互动、生生互动,让不同层次的学生动脑、动手、动口,参与思维活动,充分发挥学生的主体作用。
