Xicheng Dama 西城大妈
Do you know "Xicheng Dama"? It refers to a group of volunteers, usually old women. They all live in the neighborhood in Xicheng District of Beijing(北京西城区)and they care about the community and help make it better.

The first bikeway 首条自行车专用道
The first bikeway in Beijing, between Huilongguan in Changping District and Shangdi in Haidian District, was opened on May 31, 2019.
It takes around 30 minutes on average for commuters to cycle from Huilongguan residential area to Software Park in Shangdi. Due to heavy traffic, it takes more than 40 minutes and even one hour to commute by subway in rush hours(高峰期). Beijing has many designated(指定的)lanes for bicycles. However, cars are increasingly encroaching(侵占), and they are often crowded with parked cars.
The bicycle-only road is 6.5 kilometers long and 6 meters wide. It has eight exits and cyclists (骑车人) should keep their speed(速度)under 15 kilometers per hour. People cannot walk on it. Electric bicycles and other vehicles(车辆)are also not allowed to use it.
Cyclists should travel on the right. Riding in the opposite direction and parking are not allowed on the bikeway. When the bicycle is broken, one should take the bicycle to the nearest exit and get out of the bikeway on foot on the right side of the road.
