1. 热身/复习(Warm-up / Revision)
1) Sing the song.(师生共同演唱上节课的歌曲“How old are you ?”)
2) Free talk.
教师通过和学生的交谈复习Lesson 9的内容。
T: Who is Dick?
S: He is Gao Wei’s new friend at the art club.
T: How old is he?
S: He’s ten.
T: Who’s this little girl?
S: She is Dick’s sister.
T: What do you think of her?
S: She’s cute.
T: What does Gao Wei think of Dick?
S: He is smart.
2. 新课呈现(Presentation)
1) 教师介绍“报名参加俱乐部”的场景,通过教学课件出示四名同学的图像,介绍他们将要参加学校组织的:Art Club, Music Club, English Club, Sports Club等。首先,四名学生做自我介绍,同学们根据他们的信息填写表格并判断他们可以参加哪类倶乐部。
2) 学生手中的表格信息如下:
NAME: __________
AGE: __________
HOBBY: __________
smart, cute, lovely, active.
3) 以Ken的自我介绍为例:Hello! My name is Ken. I’m nine. I like playing football very much. I’m active. 有关Ken的表格信息填写:NAME: Ken; AGE: Nine; HOBBY: playing football; active上方打对号。汇报时这样介绍:His name is Ken. He is ten. He is active. He likes playing football. He can go to sports club. 教师示范时讲解active一词。请学生举例说出班上哪名同学active。
4) 教师播放提前录制好的这几名学生的自我介绍,请同学填写相关信息。
5) 小组内交流信息。
6) 汇报时也可以采取一问一答的形式:
S1: What’s her name?
S2: Her name is Carol.
S1: How old is she?
S2: She is twelve.
S1: What’s her hobby?
S2: She likes drawing and painting.
S1: What do you think of her?
S2: She is cute.

3. 新知练习(Practice)
1) 师生共同完成Let’s act中的活动
(1) 教师将全班分成两个小组,按本课Let’s act中的要求,一组为Cute group,另一组为Active group,进行接力比赛。
(2) 首先教师手举手偶做介绍;Hello! My name is Tom. I’m ten. I’m smart.两组学生根据这些信息进行提问回答:
—What’s his name?
—His name is Tom.
—How old is he?
—He’s ten.
—He is active, right?
—No. He is smart.
(3) 随后教师请Cute Group派一名学生介绍手中的手偶,两组学生再次根据信息提问并回答。
2) 连句游戏
教师出示几个单词,请学生思考,连词成句。
3) Let’s chant
教师播放chant录音,让学生先听,后模仿,感受字母d在单词中的读音/d/。多请学生听几遍录音,最后让学生自己拍节奏说chant.
4) Just write
教师在黑板上板书Just write部分的单词和句型,一边写一边读,写完后让学生齐读。然后,选几名学生到黑板上仿写,其他学生在自己的练习本上练习书写。最后,师生共同对学生的作品进行评价。
4. 语言运用(Language use)
情景设置:请学生根据课前所搜集有关朋友的信息进行介绍。
