读后续写一般遵循以下四个解题步骤：

在仔细阅读所提供的语言材料后，考生要能提炼出故事的主要事件。
2．根据段落开头语，确定续写方向
在提炼出人物和故事要点之后，考生应当结合两个续写段落的首句充分发挥想象，判断故事的大致走向。

在根据段落开头语判断故事大致走向之后，考生可以勾勒出更加丰富的故事细节。
4．调整写作语言，完成读后续写
在完成初稿之后，考生应当在语言上加以润色，使用更加准确、具体的词汇来刻画动作、对话和心理。

在进行读后续写写作训练或者在应试过程中，还需要特别注意下面几点：
