复习上一个课时讲解过的生词和短语，教师可带领学生一起朗读，然后再以提问的方式进行复习。
第13-16页
使用图片引导出本课时即将使用到的生词和短语。并把这些生词和短语变化成现在进行时的形式，也是本课时重点讲解的语法和句型。教师先进行呈现，让学生感知这种时态中动词的变化形式和能够表达出来的状态。

根据前几页展示的内容，总结出动词变化成-ing形式的规则。教师可以引导学生一起总结出这些规则，让学生感觉是自己总结出了这些规则。让他们印象更加深刻。总结过后需再次进行回顾，使学生对于这些规则更加熟悉。

在本页课件中给出一些单词，由教师引导学生根据之前总结出的规则，说出这些单词的-ing形式。也就是把总结出的规则在实际情况中进行运用。巩固学生对于这些规则的掌握程度。单词是按照类别呈现的，所以变化形式的时候教师要注意提醒学生。

呈现本课的Read部分的全部内容。并播放文章的相应录音，或由教师带领学生朗读文章的内容。再给学生1-3分钟的时间自由朗读文章的内容，初步理解文章大意。
第43-46页
再次呈现阅读文章，并针对文章中的重点词句进行讲解，帮助学生充分理解文章的内容。
第47-50页
再次复现文章的全部内容，教师可让学生大声朗读文章的内容，可将学生分组，每组学生朗读不同的内容。充分熟悉文章的内容，练习英文朗读能力。
