This festival is on 15th day of the Chinese lunar July. Chinese celebrate this festival is to remember their dead family members. On this day, people always burn(烧) paper money, paper houses, cars and so on. And floating river lantern(放河灯) is regarded as a very important activity in China.
On 31st October, children in Britain and the USA dress up as witches, monsters or ghosts. They go from house to house and ring the doorbell. When the door opens, they call out, “Trick or treat.”
