作文
Should
students
make
friends
online?
Different
students
have
different
opinions.
Some
say
yes.
Their
reasons
are
as
follows.
Firstly,
the
Internet
can
help
them
make
friends.
Secondly,
they
can
express
their
thoughts
freely.
Thirdly,
chatting
online
is
helpful
for
their
language
study.
However,
other
students
have
the
opposite
view.
They
argue
that
making
friends
online
is
a
waste
of
time
and
does
harm
to
study.
In
addition,
some
students
get
cheated
online.
From
my
point
of
view,
making
online
friends
is
not
a
bad
thing
if
we
are
careful
enough.
If
we
make
good
use
of
time
and
knowledge,
it
can
be
valuable
for
us
to
make
friends
online.

W:
So,
how
is
your
German
class
going,
John?
M:
Well,
not
bad.
The
pronunciation
is
fine
with
me,
and
its
vocabulary
is
similar
to
English.
But
I’m
finding
the
grammar
awful.
W:
Well,
it
takes
a
while
to
get
it
right.
(Text
2)
W:
I
hope
you
can
come
to
the
party
on
Saturday.
M:
I
didn’t
know
I
was
invited.
W:
Sure
you
are.
Everyone
in
our
office
is
invited.
(Text
3)
W:
May
I
help
you?
M:
Yes.
When
is
the
next
train
to
London?
W:
Oh,
let
me
check.
It
leaves
in
twenty
minutes.
M:
One
ticket,
please.
(Text
4)
W:
Charlie,
do
you
know
a
restaurant
called
Bravo?
M:
Bravo

I
know
the
name.
But
I’m
not
sure
where
it
is.
W:
It’s
on
George
Street.
The
food
there
is
excellent.
(Text
5)
W:
Brian,
I
just
had
an
interview.
They
said
they
would
make
a
decision
soon.
M:
What
are
your
chances
of
getting
the
job?
W:
Quite
good.
I
think
the
interview
went
very
well.
(Text
6)
M:
Let’s
go
kite
flying,
Judy.
It’s
such
a
lovely
day.
W:
Okay,
but
let
me
finish
my
chemistry
homework
first.
Would
you
mind
waiting
for
half
an
hour,
Max?
There
are
a
few
sports
magazines
on
the
table.
M:
Isn’t
the
chemistry
homework
due
next
Wednesday?
W:
Yeah,
but
I
have
a
full
day
of
classes
on
Monday
and
a
birthday
party
to
attend
on
Tuesday.
M:
All
right,
then.
You
go
ahead,
and
I’ll
catch
up
on
some
sports
news
while
waiting.
(Text

W:
We’ve
been
on
the
computer
all
the
time
lately.
Why
don’t
we
do
something
different
Sunday
afternoon?
M:
Well,
we
could
go
to
a
concert.
W:
But
I
don’t
think
we
can
get
the
tickets
this
late.
M:
Then
what
about
playing
a
computer
game?
There’s
a
really
cool
new
one
we
could
download.
W:
Hmm,
I
don’t
know.
I
feel
like
I
need
to
do
some
exercise.
We
could
probably
just
walk
by
the
lake,
and
I’ll
ask
Mike
to
join
us.
M:
That
sounds
like
fun.
Let’s
do
it!
(Text

W:
Welcome
to
our
program,
Dr.
Peterson.
Let’s
see
what
questions
we’ve
got
for
you
today.
Here’s
one:
Can
cats
see
color?
M:
Sort
of.
In
the
wild,
many
cats
hunt
at
night
because
their
eyes
are
designed
for
low
light.
Your
cat
can’t
see
bright
colors
such
as
red
and
green.
But
it
picks
up
more
shades
of
blue,
yellow,
and
grey
than
humans
do.
W:
And
why
do
cats
give
dead
birds
to
their
owners?
M:
When
your
cat
drops
a
dead
bird
at
your
feet,
she
isn’t
bringing
you
a
present.
Most
cats
just
drag
food
home
because
it’s
a
safe
place
to
eat.
A
cat’s
mom
also
brings
home
things
to
her
children
to
help
them
practice
hunting.
So,
a
female
cat
without
children
may
bring
these
“treats”
to
her
owner
instead.
You
may
not
like
them,
but
at
least
you
don’t
have
to
write
her
a
thank-you
note.

W:
How
is
little
Ed
doing
at
the
kindergarten,
Jack?
M:
Oh,
he’s
doing
fairly
well.
It’s
been
three
weeks
since
he
first
started
going,
so
Macy
and
I
are
pretty
used
to
it
now.
You
should
have
seen
Macy
cry
when
Ed
was
about
to
set
off
on
the
first
day,
though.
W:
I
think
that’s
a
normal
reaction
for
mothers.
You
live
quite
close
to
the
kindergarten,
don’t
you?
How
does
he
get
there?
M:
Macy
walks
there
with
him
every
morning
unless
the
weather
is
bad.
When
it
rains,
they’ll
drive.
W:
And
is
Ed
enjoying
kindergarten?
M:
Yeah,
he
loves
to
have
other
kids
to
play
with.
He
keeps
telling
us
things
they
do
together.
W:
What
do
the
teachers
at
the
kindergarten
say
about
him?
M:
They
said
he’s
bright,
and
that
he’s
starting
to
learn
how
to
tell
time.
Isn’t
that
fantastic?
W:
That
is
fantastic.
It
sounds
like
everything
goes
well.

W:
My
name
is
Emily.
I
had
been
a
dancer
for
quite
a
long
time.
I
started
studying
ballet
when
I
was
six
years
old.
By
the
time
I
was
nine,
I
was
dancing
five
days
a
week.
When
I
was
eighteen,
I
decided
that
I
really
preferred
contemporary
dance
and
that
I
wanted
to
do
it
professionally.
So
I
applied
successfully
for
the
training
program
at
the
School
of
Toronto
Dance
Theater,
and
moved
to
Toronto
to
attend
the
program.
That
was
the
period
of
time
I
enjoyed
most
in
Toronto.
I
graduated
on
scholarship
and
danced
professionally
for
ten
years.
But
after
all
those
years,
I
found
that
dance
was
gradually
becoming
something
that
felt
like
more
of
a
burden
than
a
joy.
I
found
myself
increasingly
unwilling
to
drag
myself
to
dance
performances,
so
I
quit.
I
do
miss
dance
often.
But
it
makes
me
happy
to
think
that
I’ll
never
have
to
go
to
another
training
session
again.江苏省东台中学2020-2021高一年级第一次阶段考试

Not
only
will
you
help

personally,
you’ll

The
bus
was
full
of
the
sounds
of
laughing
and
yelling
fifth
graders.
They
were
on
their
way
to
the
zoo
for
a
class
trip.
Mario
was
excited
to
see
the
zoo,
but
there
was
one
problem.
It
was
ten
o’clock
in
the
morning,
but
his
stomach
was
already
grumbling
(咕咕叫).
He
reached
down
and
grabbed
his
lunch
bag.
Opening
it,
he
saw
that
it
contained
a
peanut
butter
and
jelly
sandwich,
an
orange,
and
two
cookies.
Mario
sighed.
He
always
had
peanut
butter
and
jelly.
“Trade
you
lunches,”
he
said
to
the
boy
seated
next
to
him
on
the
bus.
“Okay,”
said
Mark
as
he
handed
his
brown
bag
to
Mario.
Mario
opened
it
and
was
hit
with
the
smell
of
tuna(金枪鱼).
Mario
wrinkled
his
nose
and
quickly
closed
the
bag.
He
leaned
forward
and
tapped
the
shoulder
of
the
girl
in
front
of
him.”
Swap
lunches,
Toni?”
he
asked.
???
“Hmm,
okay,”
said
Toni.
???
Mario
smiled.
This
was
fun.
But
when
he
looked
into
the
bag,
he
frowned.
What
a
disappointment!
A
ham
sandwich,
but
no
cookies!
He
had
to
have
cookies.
???
Mario
turned
in
his
seat.
“Want
to
trade
lunches?”
he
asked
Juana.
???
“Definitely!”
said
Juana.
She
grabbed
his
lunch
and
tossed
hers
onto
his
lap.
???
He
opened
the
lunch
bag.
Pizza!
He
reached
into
the
bag
to
grab
it.
Oh,
no!
The
pizza
was
hard.
He
could
hit
a
home
run
with
pizza
that
hard.
???
Mario
twisted
in
his
seat.
One
last
try,
he
told
himself.
“Hey,
Mona!
Trade
lunches?”
???
Three
rows
behind
him,
Mona
seemed
hesitant.
Finally,
she
nodded.
She
passed
her
lunch
forward,
and
he
passed
his
back.
???
Mario
took
a
deep
breath
and
opened
the
bag.
It
was
a
peanut
butter
and
jelly
sandwich,
an
orange,
and
two
cookies.
The
sandwich
was
a
little
squashed(挤压),
and
one
of
the
cookies
was
broken.
???
Mario
ate
it
anyway.
And
it
was
delicious.

making
a
decision,
making
a
change
or
taking
a
risk?
Did
you
end
up
doing
them?
In
fact,
to
feel
like
being
in
comfort
and
away
from
danger
has
always
been
the
case
since
the
very
beginning
when
the
first
humans
only
knew
how
to
treat
survival
as
more
important
than
other
things.
Even
today,
many
still
choose
to
avoid
taking
risks
when
it
comes
to
their
choices
in
life.
Remember
that
some
of
the
best
things
happen
when
you’re
afraid
and
out
in
an
uncomfortable
situation.
These
experiences
of
fear
can
both
challenge
you
and
help
you
grow.
Promise
that
giving
it
a
try
with
your
best
effort,
and
keep
expectations
low
to
reduce
additional
pressure.
Living
outside
of
one’s
comfort
zone
is
certainly
uncomfortable.
Therefore,
the
best
habit
you
can
develop
within
yourself
is
the
practice
of
becoming
familiar
with
discomfort.
You
may
be
at
a
crossroad
in
life
and
feeling
undecided
about
something.
It
could
be
a
job
that
you’re
not
happy
with,
a
relationship
you’re
not
happy
in,
or
even
just
knowing
that
you’re
too
comfortable
with
where
you’re
at
that
you
don’t
feel
challenged.
When
you
have
some
doubts
about
these
in
life,
you’d
better
ask
yourself,
“What
is
it
that
I
want?
What
is
it
that
I’m
looking
for?”
Simply,
there
are
two
kinds
of
people:
the
realists
and
the
dreamers.
Being
a
realist
isn’t
any
better
than
being
a
dreamer.
Both
come
with
their
challenges.
But
what
I
do
know
is
that
no
matter
where
you
are
in
life,
fear
should
always
be
seen
as
a
way
of
pushing
you
towards
becoming
a
better
you.
27.
What
can
we
infer
from
the
first
paragraph?
A.
It’s
natural
for
people
to
like
feeling
safe.
B.
It’s
hard
for
people
to
make
a
decision.
C.
It’s
possible
for
people
to
live
longer.
D.
It’s
necessary
for
people
to
face
the
fact.
28.
What
is
the
purpose
of
the
second
paragraph?
A.
To
tell
people
to
keep
trying
until
they
succeed.
B.
To
encourage
people
to
step
out
of
comfort
zone.
C.
To
warn
people
to
accept
different
possible
results.
D.
To
advise
people
to
feel
relaxed
and
form
good
habits.
29.
What
should
we
do
when
feeling
undecided
about
something?
A.
Choose
to
be
positive.
B.
Ask
others
for
help.
C.
Find
the
effective
ways.
D.
Understand
our
goals
30.
What
does
the
text
want
to
tell
us?
A.
We
should
think
highly
of
fear
B.
We
are
supposed
to
be
the
best
C.
We
can
live
life
to
the
fullest.
D.
We
need
learn
some
social
skills.
D
One
is
never
too
old
to
learn.
Life
learning
(sometimes
called
un-schooling
or
self-directed
learning)
is
one
of
those
concepts
that
are
almost
easier
to
explain
by
saying
what
it
isn't
than
what
it
is.
And
that's
probably
because
our
own
schooled
backgrounds
have
convinced(说服)
us
that
learning
happens
only
in
a
fine
building
on
certain
days,
between
certain
hours,
and
managed
by
a
specially
trained
professional.
Within
that
schooling
framestudy,
no
matter
how
hard
teachers
try
and
no
matter
how
good
their
textbooks,
many
bright
students
get
bored,
many
slower
students
struggle
and
give
up
or
lose
their
self-respect,
and
most
of
them
reach
the
end
of
the
process
unprepared
to
enter
into
society.
They
have
memorized
a
certain
body
of
knowledge
long
enough
to
rush
back
the
information
on
tests,
but
they
haven't
really
learnt
much,
at
least
of
the
official
curriculum.
Life
learners,
on
the
other
hand,
know
that
learning
is
not
difficult,
that
people
learn
things
quite
easily
if
they're
not
compelled
and
forced,
if
they
see
a
need
to
learn
something,
and
if
they
are
trusted
and
respected
enough
to
learn
it
on
their
own
timetable,
at
their
own
speed,
in
their
own
way—no
matter
what
age
and
no
matter
whether
we're
at
school
or
at
home.
Life
learning
is
independent
of
time,
location
or
the
presence
of
teacher.
It
does
not
require
mom
or
dad
to
teach,
or
kids
to
work
in
workbooks
at
the
table
from
9
to
noon.
Life
learning
is
learner-driven.
It
involves
living
and
learning—in
and
from
the
real
world.
It
is
about
exploring,
questioning,
experimenting,
making
messes,
taking
risks
without
fear
of
making
mistakes,
being
laughed
at
and
trying
again.
Furthermore,
life
learning
is
about
trusting
kids
to
learn
what
they
need
to
know
and
about
helping
them
to
learn
and
grow
in
their
own
ways.
It
is
about
providing
positive
experiences
that
enable
children
to
understand
the
world
and
their
culture
and
to
interact
with
it.
31.
It
is
implied(暗示)
in
the
text
that
it
is
hard
to
______.
A.
tell
the
nature
of
life
learning

B.
carry
life
learning
through
C.
learn
without
going
to
school

D.
find
a
specially
trained
teacher
32.
According
to
the
author,
the
schooling
framestudy
often
______.
A.
produces
slow
students
with
poor
memories
B.
fails
to
provide
enough
knowledge
about
life
C.
ignores
some
parts
of
the
official
curriculum
D.
gives
little
care
to
the
quality
of
teaching
materials
33.
Life
learners
recognize
that
learning
will
not
be
difficult
if
they
are
______.
A.
able
to
respect
other
people
B.
careful
to
make
a
timetable
C.
cautious
about
any
mistakes
D.
clear
about
why
to
learn
34.
According
to
the
author,
life
learning
______.
A.
could
prevent
one
from
running
risks
B.
teaches
a
kid
how
to
avoid
being
laughed
at
C.
makes
a
kid
independent
of
his
parents
D.
could
be
a
road
full
of
trials
and
errors
35.
Through
life
learning,
children
______.
A.
will
grow
without
the
assistance
from
parents
B.
will
be
separated
from
the
negative
side
of
society
C.
will
be
driven
to
learn
necessary
life
knowledge
D.
will
learn
to
communicate
with
the
real
society

Tips
to
Be
an
Expert
at
Managing
Your
Time
Do
you
have
too
much
to
do
and
too
little
time?
Of
course!
Actually,
it's
the
biggest
problem
facing
most
people
today.
The
key
to
becoming
more
efficient
is
the
ability
to
set
priorities
(优先顺序)
and
focus
on
one
task
at
a
time.
1
Learn
from
the
experts.
If
you
want
to
be
a
big
success
in
any
area,
find
out
what
other
successful
people
in
that
area
are
doing.
2
And
do
the
same
things
until
you
get
the
same
results.
Be
open
to
new
ideas.
The
most
foolish
person
of
all
is
either
the
person
who
feels
he
has
no
time
to
learn
about
time
management
or,
the
person,
who
feels
that
he
already
knows
all
that's
needed
to
know
on
the
subject.
3
Develop
a
plan.
Successful
men
and
women
are
both
effective
and
efficient.
4
Develop
a
plan,
then
decide
what
is
the
most
important
thing
to
do
and
how
to
do
it.
5
Start
with
your
top
tasks.
Focusing
on
your
highest?value
tasks
is
the
starting
point
of
getting
your
time
under
control,
though
small
things
are
easier
and
are
often
more
fun
than
the
big,
important
things.
A.
Focus
on
the
key
tasks.
B.
Start
from
small
things.
C.
They
do
the
right
things
in
the
right
way.
D.
But
never
forget
to
learn
from
their
failures.
E.
However,
the
truth
is
that
we
have
much
to
learn.
F.
Study
the
interviews,
speeches,
biographies
of
them.
G.
Here
are
several
ways
to
get
organized
and
get
started.
第三部分
语言知识运用(共两节,满分45分)
第一节
(共20小题;每小题1.5分,满分30分)
阅读下面短文,从短文后各题所给的A、B、C和D四个选项中,选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。
Many
language
learners
think
their
pronunciation
is
good
enough
because
their
teacher
doesn’t
correct
them
too
often
or
because
other
students
can
36
them.
Pronunciation
is
the
area
which
is
37
the
least
attention
to
in
language
learning.
Most
teachers
38
just
let
their
students
speak.
The
teachers
stop
them
39
the
students
say
something
completely
wrong.
Working
on
each
student’s
pronunciation
in
class
is
just
40
.
Also,
the
students
who
are
41
at
pronunciation
may
be
afraid
that
it
will
embarrass(使尴尬)
their
classmates
if
they
help
42
their
mistakes.
Although
you
believe
your
pronunciation
is
good
enough
to
43
,
you
may
be
44
when
you
actually
go
to
a
foreign
country.
One
of
my
friends
was
the
best
student
in
his
45
class
in
Poland.
However,
when
he
went
to
America,
he
found
Americans
didn’t
understand
46
of
what
he
said.
Your
pronunciation
may
still
be
quite
47
that
of
a
native
speaker.
If
this
is
the
48
,
other
people
will
find
it
49
to
understand
what
you’re
saying
and
will
not
be
comfortable
with
you.
50
,
don’t
think
you
can
communicate
in
a
foreign
language
51
you’ve
tested
your
skills
on
real
native
speakers.
52
for
native
or
near?native
pronunciation
so
that
people
you
talk
to
can
communicate
with
you
53
.
In
order
to
achieve
this
goal,
there’s
no
54
that
you
will
need
to
start
thinking
about
pronunciation
and
55
time
on
it.

第2节
(共10小题;每小题1.5分,满分15分)
阅读下面短文,在空白处填入1个适当的单词或括号内单词的正确形式。
On
average,
Americans
spend
about
10
hours
a
day
in
front
of
a
computer
or
other
electronic
device
and
less
___56___
30
minutes
a
day
outdoors.
David
Strayer,
a
professor
of
psychology
at
the
University
of
Utah
says
that
all
this
time
___57___
(
spend
)
with
technology
is
making
our
brains
___58___(
tire).
So,
it
is
important
___59___
(give
)
the
brain
a
rest.
And
a
camping
trip
can
help.
David
Strayer
___60___
(study)
both
short-term
and
long-term
exposure
to
nature.
He
found
that
spending
short
amounts
of
time
in
nature
without
technology
does
calm
the
brain
and
helps
it
to
remember
much
___61___
(well).
However,
he
found,
it
is
the
long-term
contact
with
nature
that
does
the
most
good.
Camping
teaches
you
to
know
your
surroundings
and
to
think
about
one
thing
at
___62___
time.
It
can
show
you
how
to
take
care
of
yourself
in
difficult
situations,
___63___
can
help
to
increase
your
confidence
in
your
abilities.
第4部分
So,
it
is
wonderful
to
spend
time
___64___
(
take)
a
long
walk
in
the
woods
or
by
the
ocean
or
in
a
city
park.
But
camping
requires
that
you
spend
more
time
in
nature.
People
should
expose
themselves
more
___65___
(deep)
in
nature,
and
the
health
benefits
can
be
deeper
as
well.

It
was
a
dark
day,
one
of
depression(沮丧),
sadness
and
angry.
As
I
climbed
out
of
a
pool,
after
losing
the
swimming
match,
I
didn’t
feel
like
speak
to
anyone.
I
saw
the
bright
smiles
of
swimmers
whom
had
just
achieved
a
best
time.
But,
I
had
failed.
Or
at
least
that
is
which
I
thought
at
that
time.
I
was
lying
on
my
cool
bed
when
an
idea
strikes
me:
Success
belongs
to
anyone
who
have
never
lost
their
enthusiasm
(热情).
Finally
came
the
day
where
I
had
to
prove
to
myself
and
others
that
there
is
no
limit
to
your
achievements.
I
had
done
it!
Never
lose
your
enthusiasm,
and
you
achieve
your
best
time!
