Chinese
Food
in
Western
Countries
Many
people
in
Western
countries
love
Chinese
food,
but
the
food
they
eat
is
very
different
from
the
food
in
China.
Chinese
food
was
brought
to
the
US
in
the
19th
century
by
Chinese
immigrants(移民).
These
immigrants
made
Chinese
food
using
their
traditional
recipes(食谱),
but
they
added
local
ingredients(材料).
They
also
changed
the
taste
of
the
food
to
make
it
more
interesting
to
American
customers.
This
same
thing
happened
in
other
Western
countries
like
Australia.
Later,
new
groups
of
Chinese
immigrants
added
new
dishes
to
the

Nowadays,
Chinese
