There are many kinds of tigers all over the world, and the largest tiger is the Northeast Tiger. Most Northeast Tigers live in the northeast of China, like Heilongjiang Province and Jilin Province. Because there are many forests and mountains, the tigers usually like living there. In the forests and mountains, there are fewer people getting out and coming in. So the tigers are very free. They can run after each other, catch and eat some small animals, like rabbits and deer.
The Northeast Tigers are different from the ordinary tigers. For example, the Northeast Tigers can swim very well, but can't climb the trees. The Northeast Tigers' hearing is the best, and no matter how low the sound is, they can hear it.

Happiness is for everyone. You don’t need to care about those people who have beautiful houses with large gardens and swimming pools or those who have nice cars and a lot of money and so on. Why? Because those who have big houses may often feel lonely and those who have cars may want to walk on the country roads at their free time.
In fact, happiness is always around you if you put your heart into it. When you are in trouble at school, your friends will help you; when you study hard at your lessons, your parents are always taking good care of your life and your health; when you get success, your friends will say congratulations(祝贺) to you; when you do something wrong, people around you will help you to correct it. And when you do something good to others, you will feel happy, too. All these are your happiness. If you notice a bit of them, you can see that happiness is always around you.
Happiness is not the same as money. It is a feeling of your heart. When you are poor, you can also feel you are very happy, because you have something else that can’t be bought with money. When you meet with difficulties, you can say loudly you are very happy, because you have more chances to challenge(挑战) yourself. So you cannot always say you are poor and you have bad luck. As the saying goes, life is like a revolving(旋转的) door. When it closes, it also opens. If you take every chance you get, you can be a happy and lucky person.
( )6.Those who have big houses may often feel______.
A. happy B. lonely C. free D. excited
( )7.When you fall down in a PE class, both your teacher and your classmates will______
A. laugh at you B. play jokes on you

( )8.What will your friends say to you when you make great progress(进步)?
A. Oh, so do I B. Congratulations
C. Good luck D. It’s just so-so
( )9.Which idea is NOT right according to the passage?
A.People who have cars would never like to walk in the open air.
B.You can get help from others when you make mistakes.
C.You can still be a happy person even if you have little money.
D.Happiness is always around you though difficulties come to you.
( )10.Which of the following is this passage about?
A. Bad luck B. Good luck C. Happiness D. Life

There are several ways you can find out about the countries and places you wish to visit. You can talk to friends who have traveled to the places, you can go and see a colour film about them, or you can read a travel book.
It seems that there are three kinds of travel books. The first are those that give a personal, subjective(主观的) idea of travels which their writer has got himself. These books can be useful if the writers share their traveling experiences with others. The second kind are those books which give objective(客观的) information of things to be done and seen. If a cultured person has written such a book about the facts of a place, then it is more useful. The third kind are those books which are called “a guide” to some place or other. If they are good, they will describe and explain the place in detail. Like the first kind , they can be interesting and exciting, but their main purpose is to help the reader plan his travel in the most practical way.
Whatever kind of travel book you choose, you must make sure that the book does not describe everything as interesting, exciting or fantastic.
