B
I
must
have
looked
deep
in
thought,or
as
deep
in
thought
as
an
11?year?old
man
can,when
my
grandmother
glanced
up
from
her
weeding
to
ask,“You
have
something
on
your
mind,don't
you?”
“Yes,I
was
thinking
that
someday
I
want
to
be
an
Olympic
speed
skating
champion
like
my
hero,Eric
Heiden,I
want
to
be
a
doctor
like
my
parents
and
I
want
to
help
children
in
Africa.”
I
immediately
knew
I
had
confided
in
the
right
person
when
a
knowing
smile
broke
across
her
face.“Johann,of
course!
You
can
do
anything
you
want
to
do!”
she
said
simply.And
with
my
grandmother's
support,I
set
out
to
pursue
my
passions.
14
years
later,I
was
well
ready
to
take
hold
of
my
first
dream:becoming
an
Olympic
champion.The
Olympics
in
1994
were
in
my
home
country,Norway.As
I
entered
the
Olympic
stadium,I
wasn't
the
best
athlete,and
many
had
doubts
about
my
ability
to
perform
well.But
I
had
something
special
working
for
me.I
had
a
woman
in
the
first
row
who
believed
in
me
following
my
passions
just
as
much
as
I
did.For
the
first
time
ever,my
grandmother
was
going
to
see
me
skate.
It
happened.Breaking
a
world
record,I
won
the
gold.
As
I
stood
on
the
podium(领奖台)
that
I
had
dreamed
about
my
entire
life,a
curious
question
popped
into
my
head.Why
me?
Why
did
I
win,given
all
the
other
incredible
competitors
out
there?
The
reason
had
to
be
more
than
a
grandmother
who
shared
a
belief
in
her
grandson's
dream.The
question
led
me
to
only
one
answer:because
I
wanted
to
make
a
difference
in
the
world,and
with
all
the
media
attention
on
my
success,I
could.
I
immediately
knew
what
that
difference
had
to
be:hope
in
the
lives
of
the
children
in
Africa.Six
months
earlier,I'd
been
invited
to
Eritrea
as
an
ambassador
for
Olympic
Aid.

C
When
we
think
of
summer,most
of
us
think
of
outdoor
fun.So
it
seems
like
we
should
naturally
lose
weight
over
the
summer—not
gain
it.
Here
are
some
ways
to
beat
summer
weight
gain:
Stick
to
a
schedule.With
school
out,we
lose
our
daily
routines.If
you
don't
have
a
specific
job
or
activity
to
get
up
for,it's
easy
to
sleep
late,watch
too
much
TV,and
snack
more
than
usual.Make
sure
your
summer
days
have
some
structure—like
getting
up
at
the
same
time
each
day
and
eating
meals
at
set
times.Plan
activities
for
specific
times,like
exercising
before
breakfast.If
you
have
time
on
your
hands,offer
to
make
dinner
a
couple
of
nights
a
week
so
your
family
can
enjoy
a
sit?down
meal
together.
Stay
busy.When
we're
bored,it's
easy
to
fall
into
a
trap
of
doing
nothing
and
then
feeling
low
on
energy.In
addition
to
helping
you
avoid
the
cookie
jar,filling
your
days
with
stuff
to
do
can
give
you
a
sense
of
accomplishment.That's
especially
true
if
a
dream
summer
job
or
planned
activity
feel
through.Limit
your
screen
time
to
no
more
than
2
hours
a
day.
Beat
the
heat.Don't
let
summer
heat
put
your
exercise
plans
on
hold.Move
your
workout
indoors.If
you
love
being
outdoors,try
joining
a
local
pool
or
move
a
regular
run
or
soccer
game
to
early
morning
or
evening.
Think
about
what(and
how)you
eat.Summer
means
picnics
and
barbecues.Pace
yourself.Don't
overload
your
plate.Choose
seasonal,healthy
foods
like
fresh
fruit
instead
of
high?sugar,high?fat
desserts.Another
good
tip
for
summer
eating
is
to
limit
frozen
treats
like
ice
cream
to
no
more
than
once
a
week.

summer

11.The

C.parents
D.job?hunters
B [推理判断题。根据第三段第二句“With

routines.”可推知,本文的主要目标阅读群体是学生。]
D
I
come
from
a
family
that
loves
sports.My
father
coaches
Little
League
baseball.My
mother
swims
nearly
every
weekend.My
brother
is
on
his
high?school
basketball
team,and
I
am
the
best
hitter
on
my
middle?school
volleyball
team.All
of
us
have
benefited(受益)from
sports.One
of
the
most
common
ways
for
kids
to
take
part
in
sports
is
to
join
a
team.Joining
a
sports
team
should
be
a
school
requirement.
Playing
sports
is
good
for
both
the
body
and
mind.Everyone
knows
that
exercise
helps
people
stay
fit.For
example,swimming
helps
your
heart
work
better
and
it
also
helps
build
muscle
strength(肌肉力量).In
addition,school
athletes(运动员)often
have
a
healthy
diet.I
eat
a
lot
of
fruit
and
vegetables
and
avoid
fatty
foods
because
I
must
stay
in
great
condition.
Being
on
a
team
allows
students
to
enjoy
a
healthier
social
life.They
often
make
more
friends
and
can
be
some
of
the
most
popular
kids
in
school.Since
joining
the
basketball
team,my
brother
has
made
friends
with
a
lot
of
his
teammates
and
has
showed
more
interest
in
spending
time
with
them.
Kids
who
take
part
in
school
teams
sometimes
earn
college
scholarships(奖学金).My
brother's
friend,Justin,played
football
in
high
school.His
family
did
not
have
money
to
send
him
to
college.However,a
college
invited
him
to
play
on
its
team.The
college
is
paying
for
him
to
go
to
school.Joining
a
team
turned
out
to
be
one
of
the
best
decisions
he
had
ever
made.Now
he
studies
at
a
great
college
and
plays
on
its
football
team.Not
every
school
athlete
gets
a
college
scholarship,but
joining
a
school
team
makes
it
possible.
Although
some
people
may
not
like
the
idea
of
forcing
students
to
join
a
school
team,its
many
benefits
such
as
keeping
kids
healthy,new
friendships,and
possible
scholarships
cannot
be
denied(否认).

Ⅱ.阅读七选五(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分)
For
some
people,choosing
which
sports
to
play
throughout
high
school
is
hard
because
they
have
never
really
played
an
organized
sport
before
and
aren't
sure
what
they'll
enjoy
most.
16
17
If
you're
great
at
basketball
but
would
rather
play
football
because
you
think
it's
more
fun,then
give
it
a
go
(just
make
sure
it's
cool
with
mom
and
dad).
Sports
are
meant
to
be
fun.
18
What's
the
worst
that
can
happen?
If
you
get
cut,you
can
always
try
another
sport.And
sports
like
track
don't
typically
cut
participants
from
the
team.You
can
still
participate
even
if
you're
not
in
the
team
for
the
competition.
Some
sports,like
baseball
or
basketball,require
every
person
on
the
field
to
be
working
well
together.
19
Sports
like
tennis,track
and
field,swimming,gymnastics,and
wrestling
are
all
sports
where
individual
performances
are
tallied
(计算)
into
team
scores.
20
However,for
the
most
part
it's
possible
to
win
a
solo
event
in
these
sports
and
still
have
your
team
lose,and
vice
versa(反之亦然).
No
one
knows
you
better
than
you
do.Maybe
you
enjoy
the
spotlight.Maybe
you
get
annoyed
by
the
way
teammates
act.Luckily,there
are
many
individualized
sports
to
choose
from.
A.Many
people
are
attracted
to
team
sports.
B.Besides
swimming,try
fishing,sailing,skiing
and
surfing.
C.Of
course
there
are
exceptions,like
relays
in
track
and
swimming.
D.For
others
it's
tough
because
their
friends
don't
like
to
play
the
same
sports.
E.No
matter
what
your
problem
is,you
have
to
make
the
decision
that
is
best
for
you.
F.If
there
is
a
sport
you
really
enjoy
but
you
aren't
sure
if
you
can
make
the
team,try
out
anyway.
G.Sure,certain
people
perform
much
better
than
others,but
superstars
don't
necessarily
make
a
good
team.
【语篇解读】 很多高中生为选择体育运动而大费脑筋,本文就如何在高中选择体育运动提出了一些建议。
16.D [上一句提到对一些人来说,上高中时选择体育运动很难,因为他们从来没有参加过有组织的运动,或不确定自己最喜欢什么。因此,D项(对其他人来说,那很难是因为他们的朋友不喜欢同样的运动)与上一句语意衔接,说明了高中生选择体育运动难的原因。]
17.E [上一段讲的是高中生选择运动难的原因,下一句提到如果你擅长篮球,却因为认为足球更有趣而想踢足球,那么就试一下足球。因此,E项(不管你的问题是什么,都要做对自己来说最好的决定)在此承上启下。]
18.F [上一句提到参加体育运动意味着寻找乐趣,下文提到最坏的事情不过是被裁掉,但你完全可以再尝试其他的运动。因此,F项(如果你真心喜欢一项运动却不确定能否加入这个队伍,那么也要努力一下)使上下文语意连贯。]
19.G [上一句提到一些像棒球和篮球的运动需要场上的队员密切配合,因此G项(确实,一些人比其他人表现得好得多,但是体育巨星不一定能组成一支优秀的队伍)承接上文,说明了配合的重要性。]
20.C [上一句提到在一些像网球、田径、游泳等的体育比赛中,个人得分会被分别记到队伍的总分里,因此C项(当然也有例外,如田径和游泳中的接力赛)
承上启下。]

【语篇解读】 体育锻炼不仅能强身健体,而且能让我们精力充沛,提高工作效率。
36.have
discovered [考查时态、语态和主谓一致。时间状语“over
the
past
decade”表明该句应用现在完成时,且social
scientists与discover为主谓关系,故填have
discovered。]
37.on [考查介词。名词impact与介词on连用,impact
on...表示“对……的影响”。]
38.putting/to
put [考查非谓语动词。
...into
your
routine作主语,表示主动关系和抽象概念,故填putting/to
put。]
39.suggesting [考查非谓语动词。动词suggest与evidence之间是主谓关系,非谓语表示被修饰对象长久的特征,因此用现在分词suggesting作后置定语。]
40.researchers [考查名词。此处缺主语,再依据下一句中的“They
found”可知,这里应用复数名词指研究人员。]
41.effectively [考查副词。此处副词effectively位于动名词短语后作状语。]
42.However [考查副词。根据下文中的“many
of
us
can't
take
exercise
regularly”可知前后文在内容上形成对比,且空后有逗号,故此处应用However。]
43.what [考查主语从句。分析句子结构可知,空处所填词引导主语从句,在从句中作动词mean的宾语,起双重代词的作用,故用what。]
44.ourselves [考查反身代词。此处意为“我们为自己做些事情”,主语与宾语指同一些人,故用反身代词ourselves。]
45.started/should
start [考查固定句式。在“It
is
time(that)...”句式中,that引导的从句的谓语用过去式或should
do的形式。]

young
woman
of

and
she

thrown
into
a
world
of
darkness,anger,frustration
and
self?pity.And
all
she
had

to
was
her
husband,Mark.
Mark,an
Air

Susan
with

his
heart
and
he
was
determined
to
help
his
wife
gain
the

and
confidence
she

independent
again.
Finally,Susan
felt
ready
to
return
to
her
job,but
how
would
she
get
there?
Mark
volunteered
to
drive
her
to
work
each
day,even
though
they
worked
at
opposite
ends
of
the
city.
At
first,this
comforted
Susan.Soon,however,Mark
decided
that
Susan
had
to
start
taking
the
bus
again
on
her
own.But
she
was
still
so
fragile,so
angry—how
would
she
react?
Just
as
he
predicted,Susan
was
horrified
at
the
idea
of
taking
the
bus
again.“How
am
I
supposed
to
know
where
I

going?
I
feel
like

abandoning
me.”
she
responded
bitterly.
Mark's
heart
broke
to
hear
these
words,but
he
knew
what
had
to
be
done.He
promised
Susan
that
he
would
ride
the
bus
with
her,for
as
long
as
it
took,until
she
got
the
hang
of
it.
For
two
solid
weeks,Mark,in
military

and
all,accompanied
Susan
to
and

work
each

her
everything

adapt
to
her
new
environment,including
befriending
the
bus
drivers
who
could
watch
out
for
her,and
save
her
a
seat.
Finally,Susan
decided
to
try
the
trip
on
her
own.Monday
morning
arrived,she
said
good
bye
to
Mark,and
for
the
first
time,they

their
separate
ways.
Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday...each
day
on
her
own
went
perfectly,and
Susan
had
never
felt
better.She
was
doing
it!
On
Friday
morning,as
she
was
paying
the
fare
to
get
off
the
bus
as
usual,the
driver
said,“Young
lady,I
sure
do
envy
you.”
Surprised
and
curious,she
asked
the
driver,“Why
do
you
say
that
you
envy
me?”
Paragraph
1:
The
driver
responded,“It

good
to

Paragraph
2:
Tears
of
happiness
poured
down
Susan's
cheeks.

I
must
have
looked
deep
in
thought,or
as
deep
in
thought
as
an
11?year?old
man
can,when
my
grandmother
glanced
up
from
her
weeding
to
ask,“You
have
something
on
your
mind,don't
you?”
“Yes,I
was
thinking
that
someday
I
want
to
be
an
Olympic
speed
skating
champion
like
my
hero,Eric
Heiden,I
want
to
be
a
doctor
like
my
parents
and
I
want
to
help
children
in
Africa.”
I
immediately
knew
I
had
confided
in
the
right
person
when
a
knowing
smile
broke
across
her
face.“Johann,of
course!
You
can
do
anything
you
want
to
do!”
she
said
simply.And
with
my
grandmother's
support,I
set
out
to
pursue
my
passions.
14
years
later,I
was
well
ready
to
take
hold
of
my
first
dream:becoming
an
Olympic
champion.The
Olympics
in
1994
were
in
my
home
country,Norway.As
I
entered
the
Olympic
stadium,I
wasn't
the
best
athlete,and
many
had
doubts
about
my
ability
to
perform
well.But
I
had
something
special
working
for
me.I
had
a
woman
in
the
first
row
who
believed
in
me
following
my
passions
just
as
much
as
I
did.For
the
first
time
ever,my
grandmother
was
going
to
see
me
skate.
It
happened.Breaking
a
world
record,I
won
the
gold.
As
I
stood
on
the
podium(领奖台)
that
I
had
dreamed
about
my
entire
life,a
curious
question
popped
into
my
head.Why
me?
Why
did
I
win,given
all
the
other
incredible
competitors
out
there?
The
reason
had
to
be
more
than
a
grandmother
who
shared
a
belief
in
her
grandson's
dream.The
question
led
me
to
only
one
answer:because
I
wanted
to
make
a
difference
in
the
world,and
with
all
the
media
attention
on
my
success,I
could.
I
immediately
knew
what
that
difference
had
to
be:hope
in
the
lives
of
the
children
in
Africa.Six
months
earlier,I'd
been
invited
to
Eritrea
as
an
ambassador
for
Olympic
Aid.

When
we
think
of
summer,most
of
us
think
of
outdoor
fun.So
it
seems
like
we
should
naturally
lose
weight
over
the
summer—not
gain
it.
Here
are
some
ways
to
beat
summer
weight
gain:
Stick
to
a
schedule.With
school
out,we
lose
our
daily
routines.If
you
don't
have
a
specific
job
or
activity
to
get
up
for,it's
easy
to
sleep
late,watch
too
much
TV,and
snack
more
than
usual.Make
sure
your
summer
days
have
some
structure—like
getting
up
at
the
same
time
each
day
and
eating
meals
at
set
times.Plan
activities
for
specific
times,like
exercising
before
breakfast.If
you
have
time
on
your
hands,offer
to
make
dinner
a
couple
of
nights
a
week
so
your
family
can
enjoy
a
sit?down
meal
together.
Stay
busy.When
we're
bored,it's
easy
to
fall
into
a
trap
of
doing
nothing
and
then
feeling
low
on
energy.In
addition
to
helping
you
avoid
the
cookie
jar,filling
your
days
with
stuff
to
do
can
give
you
a
sense
of
accomplishment.That's
especially
true
if
a
dream
summer
job
or
planned
activity
feel
through.Limit
your
screen
time
to
no
more
than
2
hours
a
day.
Beat
the
heat.Don't
let
summer
heat
put
your
exercise
plans
on
hold.Move
your
workout
indoors.If
you
love
being
outdoors,try
joining
a
local
pool
or
move
a
regular
run
or
soccer
game
to
early
morning
or
evening.
Think
about
what(and
how)you
eat.Summer

D
I
come

loves
sports.My
father
coaches
Little
League
baseball.My
mother
swims
nearly
every
weekend.My
brother
is
on
his
high?school
basketball
team,and
I
am
the
best
hitter
on
my
middle?school
volleyball
team.All
of
us
have
benefited(受益)from
sports.One
of
the
most
common
ways
for
kids
to
take
part
in
sports
is
to
join
a
team.Joining
a
sports
team
should
be
a
school
requirement.
Playing
sports
is
good
for
both
the
body
and
mind.Everyone
knows
that
exercise
helps
people
stay
fit.For
example,swimming
helps
your
heart
work
better
and
it
also
helps
build
muscle
strength(肌肉力量).In
addition,school
athletes(运动员)often
have
a
healthy
diet.I
eat
a
lot
of
fruit
and
vegetables
and
avoid
fatty
foods
because
I
must
stay
in
great
condition.
Being
on
a
team
allows
students
to
enjoy
a
healthier
social
life.They
often
make
more
friends
and
can
be
some
of
the
most
popular
kids
in
school.Since
joining
the
basketball
team,my
brother
has
made
friends
with
a
lot
of
his
teammates
and
has
showed
more
interest
in
spending
time
with
them.
Kids
who
take
part
in
school
teams
sometimes
earn
college
scholarships(奖学金).My
brother's
friend,Justin,played
football
in
high
school.His
family
did
not
have
money
to
send
him
to
college.However,a
college
invited
him
to
play
on
its
team.The
college
is
paying
for
him
to
go
to
school.Joining
a
team
turned
out
to
be
one
of
the
best
decisions
he
had
ever
made.Now
he
studies
at
a
great
college
and
plays
on
its
football
team.Not
every
school
athlete
gets
a
college
scholarship,but
joining
a
school
team
makes
it
possible.
Although
some
people
may
not
like
the
idea
of
forcing
students
to
join
a
school
team,its
many
benefits
such
as
keeping
kids
healthy,new
friendships,and
possible
scholarships
cannot
be
denied(否认).

Ⅱ.阅读七选五(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分)
For
some
people,choosing
which
sports
to
play
throughout
high
school
is
hard
because
they
have
never
really
played
an
organized
sport
before
and
aren't
sure
what
they'll
enjoy
most.
16
17
If
you're
great
at
basketball
but
would
rather
play
football
because
you
think
it's
more
fun,then
give
it
a
go
(just
make
sure
it's
cool
with
mom
and
dad).
Sports
are
meant
to
be
fun.
18
What's
the
worst
that
can
happen?
If
you
get
cut,you
can
always
try
another
sport.And
sports
like
track
don't
typically
cut
participants
from
the
team.You
can
still
participate
even
if
you're
not
in
the
team
for
the
competition.
Some
sports,like
baseball
or
basketball,require
every
person
on
the
field
to
be
working
well
together.
19
Sports
like
tennis,track
and
field,swimming,gymnastics,and
wrestling
are
all
sports
where
individual
performances
are
tallied
(计算)
into
team
scores.
20
However,for
the
most
part
it's
possible
to
win
a
solo
event
in
these
sports
and
still
have
your
team
lose,and
vice
versa(反之亦然).
No
one
knows
you
better
than
you
do.Maybe
you
enjoy
the
spotlight.Maybe
you
get
annoyed
by
the
way
teammates
act.Luckily,there
are
many
individualized
sports
to
choose
from.
A.Many
people
are
attracted
to
team
sports.
B.Besides
swimming,try
fishing,sailing,skiing
and
surfing.
C.Of
course
there
are
exceptions,like
relays
in
track
and
swimming.
D.For
others
it's
tough
because
their
friends
don't
like
to
play
the
same
sports.
E.No
matter
what
your
problem
is,you
have
to
make
the
decision
that
is
best
for
you.
F.If
there
is
a
sport
you
really
enjoy
but
you
aren't
sure
if
you
can
make
the
team,try
out
anyway.
G.Sure,certain
people
perform
much
better
than
others,but
superstars
don't
necessarily
make
a
good
team.

I
had
the
chance
to
meet
Davenport
at
the
2012
US
Open.
25
that
night,she
answered
some
questions
from
our
group
and
I
asked
her,“Ms
Davenport,
26
can
teach
people
a
lot
of
lessons.What
lessons
did
you
27
during
your
time
as
a
professional
tennis
player
that
you
didn't

28
an
amateur(业余运动员)?”
To
be
honest,I
had
a
personal
reason
for
asking
this
question.I
played
baseball
in
college,but
not
29
.So
I
wanted
to
know
what
I
missed.
Davenport's
first
answer
was
to
talk
about
how
she
had
to
grow
up
30
.She
mentioned
the
power
of
the
media
and
learning
to
live
her
life
in
front
of
a(n)
31
.But
then
she
changed
the
32
and
talked
about
improving
her
skill
and
the
lessons
of
competition,hard
work,and
perseverance.Those
things,she
said,were
learned
long
before
she
became
a
professional.In
other
words,to
learn
about
what
it's
like
to
33
as
a
professional
athlete,you
need
to
be
a
professional
athlete.But
to
learn
the
lessons
of
playing
sports,you
just
need
to
34
your
sport.
Take
note:you
don't
need
to
be
the
best
in
order
to
be
35
or
satisfied,but
all
that
matters
is
that
you
play
the
game.

Ⅵ.读后续写(满分25分)
阅读下面的材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。续写的词数应为150左右。
It
had
been
a
year
since
Susan,an
attractive
young
woman
of
34,became
blind
and
she
was
suddenly
thrown
into
a
world
of
darkness,anger,frustration
and
self?pity.And
all
she
had
to
cling
to
was
her
husband,Mark.
Mark,an
Air
Force
officer,loved
Susan
with
all
his
heart
and
he
was
determined
to
help
his
wife
gain
the
strength
and
confidence
she
needed
to
become
independent
again.
Finally,Susan
felt
ready
to
return
to
her
job,but
how
would
she
get
there?
Mark
volunteered
to
drive
her
to
work
each
day,even
though
they
worked
at
opposite
ends
of
the
city.
At
first,this
comforted
Susan.Soon,however,Mark
decided
that
Susan
had
to
start
taking
the
bus
again
on
her
own.But
she
was
still
so
fragile,so
angry—how
would
she
react?
Just
as
he
predicted,Susan
was
horrified
at
the
idea
of
taking
the
bus
again.“How
am
I
supposed
to
know
where
I
am
going?
I
feel
like
you're
abandoning
me.”
she
responded
bitterly.
Mark's
heart
broke
to
hear
these
words,but
he
knew
what
had
to
be
done.He
promised
Susan
that
he
would
ride
the
bus
with
her,for
as
long
as
it
took,until
she
got
the
hang
of
it.
For
two
solid
weeks,Mark,in
military
uniform
and
all,accompanied
Susan
to
and
from
work
each
day.He
taught
her
everything
to
adapt
to
her
new
environment,including
befriending
the
bus
drivers
who
could
watch
out
for
her,and
save
her
a
seat.
Finally,Susan
decided
to
try
the
trip
on
her
own.Monday
morning
arrived,she
said
good
bye
to
Mark,and
for
the
first
time,they
went
their
separate
ways.
Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday...each
day
on
her
own
went
perfectly,and
Susan
had
never
felt
better.She
was
doing
it!
On
Friday
morning,as
she
was
paying
the
fare
to
get
off
the
bus
as
usual,the
driver
said,“Young
lady,I
sure
do
envy
you.”
Surprised
and
curious,she
asked
the
driver,“Why
do
you
say
that
you
envy
me?”
Paragraph
1:
The
driver
responded,“It
must
feel
good
to
be
taken
care
of
and
protected
like
you
are
every
day.”
Paragraph
2:
Tears
of
happiness
poured
down
Susan's
cheeks.
