【学情分析】本节课是第九单元的第二课时, 学习任务是完成课文 3a, 3b and 4 部分的学习。本单元要求学会谈论重要发明的历史及用途,然后针对各项发明的用处及特点,发表自己的看法,并说明理由。话题一直是围绕着历史上和日常生活中的重要发明,通过使用“Passive Voice”形式的句型,循序渐进地展开讨论。课本设计的活动情景能够自然地引发学生的好奇心,大家积极地投入到话题讨论中,寓教于乐,容易引起学生的兴趣;同时,它也有利于开阔学生的思路,培养创造精神,展开丰富的想象力,人人都能成为“小发明家”。
【本课设计】
我先以一首歌来活跃气氛。再从话题入手,激发学生的兴趣,让学生尽快进入状态。然后利用课件,复习旧知,温习上节课的所学内容,通过呈现的图片导入新单词的教学。在导入新单词的学习过程中,我描述了每一种发明,不仅旨在教学新单词,更利用描述来对学生进行听力训练,同时利用其中的停顿、猜测来提高学生的学习兴趣,使学生尽快融入课堂。然后,再以发明已改变了我们的生活,但其中有些是有用的,有些是恼人的,过渡到对发明表明观点这个环节。在此过程中,我尽力做到词不离句,情景交融,生动形象。我先通过师生间的对话过渡到生生的操练,句型的操练是很有必要性的,让学生两人一组进行操练,接着,我又通过让学生进行小组活动,让学生熟练地掌握本课时所学的内容,提高学生的合作意识,增强学生的团结协作精神。该活动的设计,能减少学生独立完成较大型英语任务的畏难心理障碍,在设计中,通过师生示范和图片的提示为学生搭建平台,使层次较低的学生也能在一个有帮助的平台上,与其他同学一起,顺利完成该项任务。同时,在表明观点的练习后,我又安排了一场辩论,继续深化目标语言的运用,同时也对学生的口语进行了强化训练,拓展了学生的思维。而评价机制的实施运用又让学生明白了自己在本节课的收获以及存在的问题,明确今后努力的方向。另外,我又以发明的确在许多方面给予了我们帮助,尤其当我们独自时,帮助更大过渡到GROUPWORK。一幅大大的孤零零的一个人在岛上的图片吸引住同学们的视线.他在哪?对他来说独自一人身处孤岛最重要的是什么?最有帮助的是什么?他怎样才能离开小岛?如果你是他,你又会带些什么?一系列的问题引导同学们展开激烈讨论,鼓励学生发挥想象力,灵活运用所学句型,各抒己见,并通过讨论过渡到写,进一步强化学生对词汇的掌握,整合所学语句,形成语篇,达到词-句-篇的训练效果。再让学生以报告形式回到说上,进一步提升学生的口语水平。最后对本课的语法重点进行归纳整理,让学生找规律,鼓励他们积极思考,让学生积极主动地学习,然后我设计了适当的练习题,练习题也是围绕本课的重要知识点而设计的,既能培养学生“写”的能力,也可以让他们再次巩固新知。从而检测学生所学情况。
