Cheetahs are the fastest land animals. They can run at a top speed(速度) of more than 110 kilometers per hours（每小时）. Most of cheetahs live in Africa and Asia. A cheetah’s body is up to 1 to 1.5 meters long and 70 to 90 centimeters high. A cheetah usually weighs 20 to 80 kilos.
Now cheetahs are endangered. People have taken up their habitats for farming. Sometimes they can’t find enough food. People have also killed too many cheetahs for their fur. The number of cheetahs is getting smaller and smaller.
We should try our best to protect them. We should plant more trees to increase the forest. People should stop killing them for their fur. If we do nothing, soon there will be no more cheetahs in the world.
