教学目标:
1. Be able to understand and learn to say the new structure as following:
  What’s your hobby? My hobby is…
2.Get the students grasp the sentences: What’s your hobby? 以及回答
3. Be able to understand and read the words and phrases correctly.
教学重点难点:
1.Help the students grasp the meaning of the sentences:
 What’s your hobby? My hobby is… 
2. Help the students to use the sentences correctly.

教学步骤:
Step 1 :Greetings
Step 2 : Warm-up/ Review
1. Sing a song.
2. Read the words one by one.
3. 问: What’s your name?学生回答后,引出本单元课题Unit 2 What’s your hobby ? Lesson 8 并板书。
( 设计意图:热身活动 ,活跃课堂气氛,全身心地准备学习的开始,并起到复习导入的作用。)
Step 3: Presentation
Study words:
1.Show the words and ask the students to remember their Chinese meaning.
2.Say out the Chinese meaning.
3.Explain the words and lead the students to read.
4.Look at the screen and repeat,then read.
二.Study phrases;
1.Let the students make phrases.
2.Look at the screen and repeat,then read.

三.引出重点句子
T:What’s your name? 学生回答后,把单词name替换成hobby从而引出所学新句型What’s your hobby? My hobby is…  板书此句子并讲解要求,教读使学生理解意思并掌握读音。
1.手指图片,T:What’s your hobby? 学生分别回答。
2.Look at the screen and read.
3.Do substitution drills.
4. Write new words and sentences.
四.对话交谈Look at the picture and read ,then talk .
Step4:Practice
Let’s play.Work in groups.
(设计意图:强化练习单词与句子,激发学生学习兴趣,吸引学生注意力,调动课堂气氛。通过各种游戏活动培养学生的合作与竞争意识。在游戏活动中,要给予学生及时的鼓励)
Step5:拓展延伸
让学生思考其他的形容词性物主代词,并让学生运用本课所学的语言进行替换练习,如:What’s his hobby? His hobby is… 
What’s her hobby? Her hobby is… 
Step6:Homework: 1.Copy words and sentences.
2.Do the Activity Book.
