教学设计
一、学生情况分析:
六年级学生有三年多的英语学习经历,大多数学生对英语学习产生了浓厚的学习兴趣,并有了一定的英语基础,能运用英语进行初步的交际。但也有些学生已失去了刚开始的兴趣,学习态度不够端正,基础不扎实,能力也较差,学习比较困难,出现两极分化现象。今后还要注重培养学生良好的学习英语的习惯。
二、教材分析:
本课我们继续学习数字的表达,如何使用序数词以及序数词的拼写是本课的重点。本课教材有这样几个特点:
1、注重了学生运用能力培养;
2、尊重学生的差异,并让其充分发表出来;
3、在承认学生之间差异的同时提供了互动互学的条件;
三、教学目标:
知识目标:
掌握新单词:first , second, third , fourth , fifth , sixth , seventh , eighth , ninth , tenth , eleventh , twelfth.
掌握新句型:Liming is the first .
The girl is the second .
The boy in red shorts is the third .
January is the first month .
能力目标:使学生掌握本课所学序数词,并能实际运用序数词。
情感态度:关注学生的喜好、需求,营造宽松、民主、和谐的课堂氛围。通过多样性的活动,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生在英语课堂中不断体验成功,感受乐趣,树立自信心,促进学生综合语言运用能力的发展。

四、教学重难点:
重点:first , second, third , fourth , fifth , sixth , seventh , eighth , ninth , tenth , eleventh , twelfth.
难点:序数词的英文拼写及实际运用。
五、教学准备:课件、磁力贴、数字卡片等
Step 1 Warm-up
T: Hello ! Everyone !
S: Hello ! Ms He !
T: How are you?
S: I am fine. Thank you. And you?
T:Very well. Thank you.
T:How do you feel?
S:I feel happy.
T:What day is it today?
S:It is……
(设计意图:熟练掌握问候语,活跃课堂气氛,创造学习英语的氛围,拉近师生的距离。)
Step 2 Preview
Ask and answer:
How many students are there in our classroom? Let’s count one by one.
What’s your favorite month?
How many months are there in a year?
Let’s sing the song “Twelve months” together. (wonderful!)
(设计意图:通过歌曲、数数这种学生喜闻乐见的形式,复习学过的月份和数字,并为接下来学习第一至第十二的序数词做准备。)
Step 3 Presentation
1.Play a game:The rabbit, the dog and the tortoise (They are running.)
Three students come to the front and act the story out.
T: This is a race.
T: Who is the first ? Who is No. 1 . First means No. 1 .
(老师讲解单词first,并领读;用同样的方法讲解second, third)
游戏结束后,把头饰贴在黑板上,板书:Lesson 8 First, Second, Third
2.Look at the picture.
教师出示课文Part1李明赛跑的幻灯片
Who is the first ? Who is the second ? Who is the third ?
The boy in red shorts is the third. (板书)
(讲解”in”,it means wearing.并领读句子)
Listen and read
听音,跟读第一部分第一段,教师及时纠正发音。
3.Let’s say numbers together.
幻灯片出示序数词first---twelfth ,领学生朗读,带领学生总结序数词的变化规律。
Listen and read
让学生跟着视频朗读1-12的基数词和序数词。
Play a game :Look for your friends.
Teacher makes some cards with different numbers.
If you have one or first, you will be friends...... (Well done!)
(设计意图:教师通过游戏导入并帮助学生巩固学过的序数词,调动孩子们的学习热情,提高他们的注意力,帮助孩子们在轻松愉快的环境中掌握单词。)
Step 4 Practice
Let’s say the months of the year. January is the first. (板书)
Now open your books please.
Pair work. Match and say. (Perfect!)
学生完成Part2 ,请学生订正答案,运用句型January is the first .
(设计意图:通过完成第二部分,使学生巩固所学序数词和月份,并能够运用到句子中。)
Step 5 Extension
Now let’s say more numbers.
拓展学习,让学生了解几十和几十几的序数词拼写以及变化规律,领读并跟读
(设计意图:让学生了解更多的序数词,扩大知识面。)
Step 6 Exercises

通过今天的学习,我知道了序数词前面必须加”the”;
通过今天的学习,我知道了序数词和基数词的用法是不一样的:
序数词表示顺序的先后而基数词表示数量的多少。
