PPT出示歌谣,和学生一起吟唱。

story!(好的,同学们,今天我们将要读一篇故事。今天我们会认识一只猫。它在城市里迷路了,但是一只狗和一只鸟帮助了它。这真是一个很好的故事。)
Step2:presentation
1、Prepare
to
read
学生打开课本44页。先不着急读故事,认真看一下每幅图,了解故事的梗概,同桌间可以讨论。然后回答下列问题:

doing
in

pictures?
2、Read
the
Story
将故事从头到尾过一遍,帮助学生理解故事情节。
图一,让学生自己阅读,问辅助问题:What
do
you
see
in
the
picture
?
What
do
you
think
the
cat
is
going?(可以让学生通过上下文猜不认识的单词的意思,锻炼阅读能力)
图二,现在猫在哪呢?辅助问题:What
can
you
see
in
the
picture
?(回忆there
be句型)
(3)图三,接着往下看,小猫迷路了,他遇到了谁?辅助问题:What
are
they
looking
at
?
What
does
the
dog
tell
to
the
cat
?(学生读出指路的句子)
(4)图四,小猫找到它想去的地方了吗?。辅助问题:Where
does
the
cat
want
to
go?
(5)图五,这时谁又帮助了小猫?辅助问题:Who
does
the
cat
meet
now
?
What

bird

the

?(学生读出指路的句子)
(6)图六,学生回答:What

Are

串完故事后,开始朗读。教师先慢速把整个故事给同学们读一遍,然后播放录音,让学生跟读,重点词句可反复听。最后再播放一次录音,让学生跟着大声朗读。

把学生分成6组,每组练习表演6张图片中的一张。给学生时间练习,期间教师走动,帮助有困难的同学。准备好后,让每组在全班面前表演。

告诉学生老师喜欢他们的表演。家庭作业是试着用英语把故事读给家长听。
