学情分析:这是一节复习和练习课,对上节课email里出现的一般现在时,主语是第三人称单数的情况进行集中练习和巩固。六年级的学生刚入学不久,对老师的习惯和要求还不太熟悉,可适当用中文给学生解释清楚。六年级学生年龄小,更喜欢说的活动和有趣的活动,所以教学中以说的练习活动为主,读和写的活动为辅。
教学目标:
1.知识目标:学习单词walk, every, afternoon, morning, evening ;短语:cook breakfast, teach English, take a walk, read stories;句子:She gets up at 6:00 in the morning. She doesn’t get up at 6:30 in the morning.
2.能力目标: 能够用英语表述他人的日常生活
3. 情感态度目标: 理解老师的辛苦工作。
教学重点:目标单词、短语和句子的正确听说读写
教学难点:了解英语中第三人称单数动词的用法并可以正确使用

教学步骤:
Step1 Revision
Review the phrases
Show the Chinese and get the students to say the English .
Review the time
Show pictures of clocks on the screen , and ask the students to say the time.
Review the email.
Read the email together and then complete the email by filling in the blanks. Pay attention to the forms of the verbs.
Step2 Practice
1. Show pictures and get the students to say the phrases, then talk about the pictures according to the time given. .
2. Language practice.
Complete the positive and negative sentences
Step3 Game time
Show pictures covered partly and get the students to guess what they do in the picture.
Step 4 Writing
1. Show the picture and ask the students to say the activities on it.
2. Show the photo of the students’ favorite teacher to them. Ask the students to talk about their teacher’s daily life using the key sentences.
3. Write about their teacher’s daily life.
4. Show their writing on the screen and help to correct it.
