在邀请卡中集中出现了四个oy字母组合并发音相同的单词,让学生能够自己通过读单词总结出字母发音的规律,再根据歌谣巩固字母组合的发音。
通过阅读卡片上的信息,以提问的方式帮助学生回顾关于日期的简单问题,为下一单元的内容做简单铺垫。
通过白板游戏的练习让学生能够区分Here is 与Here are 在用法上的区别,能够了解可数名词单数和不可数名词都用Here is, 可数名词复数用Here are。
播放17课的录音,帮助学生回忆过生日的步骤。
通过图片的局部展示帮助学生拓展match一词,并了解light的动词含义,理解light和candles的意义。墙上的灯帮助学生理解light作为名词的含义。并要求学生一起跟读、拼写light一词,掌握本课四会词语。
让学生想一想自己回叙的愿望,理解make a wish 的含义,并通过句型I wish.. 了解wish作为动词与名词的含义。
通过有趣的动图帮助学生加深理解记忆blow out 的含义。

打开书让学生跟读课本中的词组进行知识的梳理,体现从书中来到书中去的过程。同时纠正学生的语音语调。

随后再以庆祝Roy 的生日为主题让学生自己整理庆祝过程的六个步骤。
学生以小组为单位让学生创编关于Roy生日的对话,培养学生的小组合作意识的同时让学生能够将词组、句型应用于对话、实际情景中。
学生以日记的形式记录下一天的活动,用首字母填空的形式让学生将词汇落在笔上,课堂上进行书写与表达促进学生读写能力的提高。
外国生日习俗的拓展帮助学生开拓国际视野。
