教材分析：
本课时是在第一课时的基础上复习并巩固句型 Put the … in the… .学生对这一句型已有初步认识，不难理解，关键是如何灵活运用这一句型来谈论布置家居。四年级的学生相对五、六年级的学生来说，还是好玩、好胜，对身边的真实情景特别感兴趣，在教学中采用直观、游戏、比赛等手段，有利于调动学生的学习积极性，提高学生学习的兴趣。

教学流程：
Step 1 warmer
1. 师生用英语问好。
2. Say a rhyme: Home Is a Nice Place
Step 2 Revision
T: Home is a nice place for you and me. In this class,
Let's go on the lesson about home. 引入课题Lesson 14.
2 复习六个房间名称 ，卡片呈现。
3 通过单词卡片再次复习六个房间，并把单词卡片贴到黑板上。
Step 3 Presentation
1. T : What can you see in the rooms ( 课件呈现六个房间 ) Revise the words:
bed, chair, computer, soap, TV, desk, basket
2.引入生词 sofa, table 并操练 , 书写。
3.复习所有单词，并用游戏“埋地雷”巩固单词 sofa, table 。
Step 4 Practice ( 句型教学 )
1.T:Put the sofa in the sitting room.再次复习单词时引入句型，并操练。
2 用同样的方法引入句型Put the table and chairs in the
dining room.
Step 5 Read and connect
1 T :看看课文中是怎样布置新家的？ 呈现挂图，听句子，学生猜。
2 打开课文， read and connect .
Step 6 拓展
1呈现一幅混乱的房间的图画，你们能帮帮老师把房间内的东西摆放好吗？
2 学生运用句型。

Step 7 语音教学
1 今天我们还学了一个跟家有关系的单词，你们能找出来 吗？引入 house ,并书写及操练。
2 引入cloud ,mouth,并找出共同字母及共同音。
3 你能读出这些单词吗？mouse,loud,
4 用相同的方法学含y的单词，并要求读出单词：yet,
5 Listen and repeat.
Step 8 Homework
1 听录音5遍，熟读本课内容。
2 完成《活动手册》上本课的练习。
3 请每位学生画一个房间及房间内的物品，并标上英语。
