Book 7 Lesson 2 Jenny’s House 教学设计
一、教材分析:本课是冀教版小学英语第七册第一单元的第二课。主要讲了Jenny把Li Ming接到了自己的家,并向他介绍家里的各个房间的情景。教学内容较多,教师应尽量多的为学生创设情景,为他们提供自我展示的舞台,让他们在不知不觉中学习英语,也提高他们对英语的领悟能力。
二、学情分析:本课的新词汇比较多,但学生对句型This is ______ .和These are ______ .在前面的学习已经接触过了,因此学习起来应该比较容易。但六年级的学生随着年龄的增长和学习内容的增多,对英语学习的兴趣逐渐降低,因此教师要以学生的学习兴趣为出发点,使学生在愉悦的氛围中掌握所学。
三、教学目标
A. 知识目标:
1. 掌握各房间的名称, bedroom , bathroom , living room , kitchen ,room
2. 了解名词性物主代词 mine , yours .
3. 复习巩固”This is ?和These are ?” 的用法.
B. 能力目标
1. 能够画出自己家房子的房间, 并用英语标注房间名称,以及作简单的谈论.
2. 能够正确朗读课文中的句子.
C. 情感目标:学生喜欢与自己家有关的英语单词,并积极运用于英语交谈之中.
四、教学重难点
1. 与房间有关的单词: room , bathroom , living room , kitchen .
2. 注意 bedroom , kitchen 的发音.
五、教具准备:单词卡片, 录音机, 磁带 ,学生自己画的房间布局图
六、教学过程
(一) Class Opening and Review
1. Greeting
T: Hello , boys and girls !
S: Hello , Miss Li !
T: How are you today ?
S: I’m fine , thank you . And you ?
T: I’m fine , too . Thank you . I live in a house. Where do you live ? S1: I live in a house .
S2: I live in a house , too.
(二)New Concepts
Step 1. Introduce new words :
T: Look , Here is my house . Is it beautiful ? (Glue the card 揾ouse ) S: Yes , it抯 beautiful .
T: Welcome to my house .My house has many rooms .(Speak slowly ) T: This is my bedroom . Look , what抯 in the bedroom ?
S1: Bed , dresser and lamp .
S2: Window , closet , and door (Teacher writes the names beside 揵edroom)
T: Good job .Follow me, next room is living room .(Glue the card)
Living room , say it please !
S: living room .
T: We can sit and watch TV in the living room. We can invite good friends to this room . We can call it “sitting room ” , too . Can you guess what’s the meaning of “living room” ?
S1: 客厅.
S2: 起居室.
T: OK ,you are very clever .
What can you see in the living room ?
S1: I can see TV , picture and lamp … (Teacher writes the words under “ living room ”)
T: The third room , you can make lunch or supper here , you can eat food , too . What’s this in Chinese ? Can you guess ?
S: Yes , 厨房.
T: Yes , you are right . How to say in English ? Listen . Kitchen .
Kitchen , say it please .
S: Kitchen .
T: Before we learned a word sound like this , who can tell me what it is ? S1: Chicken .
Compare with two words “kitchen , chicken ”.
T: The last room is bathroom . We can take a shower and brush our teeth there .
What is it in Chinese ?
S: 浴室.
Introduce how to pronounce “bath” .
T: Look at these new words , (write “classroom ”) what can you find ? S1: Bedroom , bathroom , living room 后面都有room .
T: You are a careful girl . Can you guess what’s the meaning of “room” ? S2: 室, 房间.
Step 2 : Practise
Say the words with partners . ( they can use small students’ cards )
Like this :S1: What’s this ?
S2: This is a _bedroom .
S1: What can you see in the bedroom ?
S2: I can see bed, closet and dresser .
Show : say the words .
Step 3 : Play a game . Where does it go ?
A: Where does it go ? (Hold a card )
B: In the ________.
Change the method : What can you see ?
T: OK , look at here . This is bedroom . This is living room . This is bathroom . That is kitchen . These are rooms . How many rooms in my house ?(write on the blackboard)
S: Four rooms .
T: Can you talk about one of the room you like ?
Practice to say .
This is _______. It has ____,___and _____. /I see __,___and _____. I like to _____in the ____.
Step 4 : Introduce “mine , yours ”
T: In our book , there are two new words .“mine and yours ”
Listen and guess the meaning .
T: This is my book . This is mine .
T: This is my coat . This is mine .
T: That is your pencil . That is yours .
T: That is your shirt . That is yours .
T: Do you know the meaning ?
S: Yes . Mine 是我的. Yours 是你的.
Step 5 : Look at books .
T: Now I think you can under the sentences in our book .
First let’s listen to the tape , and then answer my question . ---What room do you hear ?
T: Play the audiotape once .
S1: I hear _______.
T: You did well .Open your book , we’ll follow to read and check up our answers .
S: Students read by themselves .
Step 6: Exercise
T: I write some sentences for my house .,but I can’t write the name of rooms . Can you help me ?
S: Fill in the blanks in small groups . Ask one volunteer to show .
(三) Class Closing
T: My class , you did good job this class . Let’s see what we learned today ?
Say the key point together .
七、Homework
1. Practice : Part 2 in the book . Can you point to ______? or What can you see ?
2. Draw a picture of their house . Write the words beside each room . Then try to write some sentences like “Exercise ”.
