教学目标:
(1)语言知识目标:能够听说读写重点词汇及主要句型。主要学习重点词汇light the candles, sing the birthday song, make a wish, blow out the candles, cut the cake, eat the cake, here, for, light及主要句型Here’s a birthday cake for you. How do they celebrate the birthday? First, they light the candles and then……
(2)能力目标:本部分主要让学生掌握一些简单的问候语及回答,并通过听听做做的活动,让学生练习并运用所学的词汇。让学生明白句型的应用的情境。学习有关短语和句型后能应用于实践。
(3)情感目标:结合实际生活,创设真实情境,引导学生关心身边的同学、家人等,激发学习兴趣和热情,提高学习的积极性和主动性;培养学生团结合作的意识和精神。
(4)策略目标:鼓励学生积极运用多种学习方法和策略,自主获取信息,主动交际,分享交流,并且鼓励他们自己联想情境记忆知识点。在教学过程中鼓励学生大胆的开口说英语,表达自己的想法。

教具学具准备:多媒体、教学卡片、礼物图片、礼物实物、蜡烛、打火机、蛋糕玩具、生日帽、蛋糕叉,蛋糕刀等。
教学过程:
Warm-up
(1) 介绍信新朋友(本课主人公)Roy,课件出现Roy图片并播放录音。
(2)Chant together. 总结oy字母组合发音规律。
2. Presentation
(1) 从chant内容引入问题,从而铺设本课情境“为Roy庆祝生日”。
T: “Troy gives Roy a little toy, why?”
Ss: Maybe because it’s his birthday today.
课件呈现Roy并放录音“Yes, you are right. It’s my birthday today. Would you like to celebrate the birthday with me?”
学生猜礼物。
T: We have some gifts for Roy. Let’s see what they are.
出示礼品盒照片,PPT礼品盒退出下面出现很多礼物。每送一件礼物消失一件。
重点操练本课四会句 Here is/are … for you.
拿出食物让学生送礼物,引导学生操练Here's ... for you. / Here are ... for you.
重点区分可数和不可数名词及be动词的选择。
课件呈现Roy并放录音: I have so many gifts. Then how do we celebrate the birthday? Now let’s see how they celebrate the birthday.
(2) 齐声读17课课文回顾过生日的过程。 然后六个词组新授。
重点介绍动词用法。
讲解拼读规律。
拓展动词用法。
拓展连词用法。
开阔学生眼界。

每个新授词组分别以跟读、齐读、小组拼读、单人拼读等多种方式操练。讲练结合,精讲多练。
3. Practice
(1) 动词词组连线搭配
(2) 猜猜演演: 每组一名同学前面猜,改组其他同学在座位上表演动作,其它组同学问“How do they celebrate the birthday?”
4. Language use
Party 表演。先各小组组内活动练习,然后请一组同学到前面展示。 老师扮演Roy的妈妈,最后问“Do you want to say something to me?”增加本课情感教育,感恩教育。从而引出下一环节Roy想到了自己的父母此时正在家中谈论他的生日。请大家听对话并记录(听力首字母填空)。
5. Assessment
课堂评价个人评价和小组评价相结合。既注重对学生知识掌握的评价,还要关注学生课上的情感,参与课堂的意识,积极思考敢于挑战自己。评价工具是礼物图片。每奖励一次评价工具都要用Here is/are … for you.这个四会句型很容易就让学生掌握牢固了。 并且party环节学生要用该评价工具组内活动。课后还可以用得到的评价工具兑换本课所用到的实物礼品。
