Lesson 35教学设计
一.教学目标
1.能学会秋天、冬天的英文表达,能够简单询问和表达中秋天、冬天的节日和活动。
2.能听、说、读、写以下词语和句子:autumn, winter, Autumn is the third season. Winter is the fourth season. What do people do in autumn and winter?
3.通过学习课文,能在真实语境中运用句子,提高学生的听说能力和交际能力。
4.通过了解秋天和冬天,加强对四季的了解,让学生热爱大自然。
二.学情分析
六年级学生已经拥有了主动学习的能力,英语学习能力也在逐步提升,但是学生的能力还是有一定差异、部分学生学习习惯不好,这就需要教师通过浅显易懂、重难点层次分明的教学设计来引导学生,充分调动学生的积极性和探索欲,达到良好的学习效果。
三.重点难点
1.教学重点:学习秋天、冬天的表达,以及相应活动的表达,并用句子能够复述。
2.教学难点:学习四季的表达,让学生在真实的语境中进行交流。
四.教学过程
Step one. Warm up
Have a free talk. The teacher asks some questions.
1.How many months are there in a year?
2.What抯 the first month? What抯 the second month?
How about March? And how about April? How about
December?
Then tells them March, April and May make spring. What抯 spring like? Can you tell me something about spring?
What colour is spring? How抯 the weather in
spring?...
Step two.Presentation
1.Lead in winter.(read in groups)
Ts: Do you like winter?
Here抯 the weather report of Tianjin. How抯 the weather now?
Ts: Look! It抯 snowy. Do you like snow?
2.Then lead in winter is the white season.
Ask them what they do in winter.
3.Show some phrases about winter.Skate, sweep the snow, make a snowman.
Here抯 my snowman. His name is Winter. Let抯 call his name. You can talk the weather/time/colour/activities
with your partners.
Here抯 my winter today. I抣l read it in a nice way. Can you read it in a nice way? Then ask them
emotionally.
Do you like winter? Show some red sentences in red. Winter holiday is coming soon.
There are four seasons in a year. What抯 the third
season of the year?
Lead in autumn and ask them how抯 the weather in
autumn. How about the days/colour. Then lead in a
golden season.
Show some pictures of the farmers. What are the
farmers busy doing? Then show the phrases---cut rice,
pick apples.
So autumn is a golden and harvest season.
Show three questions of autumn. Then listen and
answer them.
Step three. Practice
Ask them which season they like best and make friends with them. Heres my friend, Amy. Introduce her to the students and she wrote a letter to me. Listen what she says and help her to solve her problems.
Step four. Language use.
Help the teacher to write a letter to Amy.
