1)学生能唱歌曲:show me your left hand
2)会运用所学词汇说简单的句子This is…/That’s …,能在实际生活中运用。
3、情感态度目标:
运用游戏、歌曲等多种教学手段激发学生学习英语的兴趣,引导学生在学习过程中积极参与,敢于开口,体验成功,树立自信心。
教学重点:单词warm,cool的听懂、会说和认读。
【学情分析】
三年级学生已经开始具备一定的英语语言基础和英语素养,且他们性格活泼开朗,擅于表演。

运用所学词汇说简单句子This is…/That’s …,能在实际生活中运用。

Step 1:Class Opening and Review
1.Warm up: Listen to a songbefore class.
[设计意图]欢快的歌曲营造了轻松的氛围,也和本课的新授内容一脉相承,能使学生很快进入到最佳的学习状态中。
2.Greeting
T: Hello,Boys and girls.
Ss: Hello, Mt.Li.
T: Today I bring a new friend. Who is he? Yes, he is Guang Touqiang.
(出示光头强的玩偶) Please say hello to Guang Touqiang.
Ss: Hello, Guang Touqiang.
Guang: Hello, friends! How are you?
Ss: Fine, thanks. And you?
Guang: I’m a little cold. Would you like to do some actions with me?
Ss: Yes!
[设计意图] 光头强是孩子们喜欢的动画形象,用它来引导孩子们学习,既提高兴趣,又增加效果。
3. Let’s chant.(光盘展示)
Show me your left hand. Left, left, left.
Show me your right hand. Right, right, right.
Left hand, right hand, clap, clap, clap!
Show me your left foot. Left, left, left.
Show me your right foot. Right, right, right .
Left foot, right foot, go, go, go!
(师生一起边做动作边说。)
4.Play a game:
Guang: You are so good! I feel happy. This time, I say, you do actions. OK?
(师说句子I feel happy/sad/tired/hot/cold,生做动作。)
[设计意图]Chant和游戏都是孩子们喜欢的复习形式,使学生的学习热情更加高涨,也顺利的激活了学生已有的知识,为下面的warm, cool的教学做了很好的铺垫。
Step 2: New Concepts(28mins)
1. Warm or cool?
(1)Introduce
Guang: Thank you, my friends. I feel better now. I’m not cold. I feel warm. I feel warm. Warm,say it, please.
(引出单词warm,出示词卡教读、生齐读、one by one读,由高到低读)
Guang: Do you feel warm?
Ss: Yes, I am warm.
Guang: Do you know the opposite of warm? Yes, cool.
Cool凉爽的,凉快的。
(引出单词cool,出示词卡教读,生齐读、分组读,)
Guang: Look, am I cool? (出示一些很酷的图片)
Cool has another mean “酷,绝妙的”。When you get a good idea, you can say “cool”. When you do some good things that others can’t do it, you are cool. Understand?
I think you are cool boys and cool girls, you are the best. Come on!
[设计意图]通过光头强的感受顺理成章的介绍warm,在教学cool时,把孩子们熟悉的生活中常用的含义“酷,绝妙的”介绍给他们,孩子们更感兴趣。
T: Yes, When we feel hot/cold/warm/cool, we say I feel hot/cold /warm/cool. But when we touch something hot/cold/warm/cool,
(出示书上的图片) we say this/that is …(引导学生一起说。)
(2)Practice
● T: Can you say something hot/cold/warm/cool? (学生说一说)
[设计意图]让学生说一说生活中冷、热、温暖、寒冷的东西,既能打开孩子们的思维,又学以致用。
● Game:出示一些冷、热、温暖和寒冷的图片,学生抢答说句子。
2.Let’s do it!
(1)Pairwork: Talk about the pictures.
学生讨论书上40页第二部分的图片。
(2)Match the words and the pictures.
学生完成将图片和词汇正确连线的活动。
[设计意图]让学生先抢答说句子,然后讨论图片说句子,最后落实到笔头上连线,这样设计孩子们比较清楚要做什么。
Step 4:Class Closing
T: Now let’s look at what we have learned. Read altogether. One, two.
(学生齐读板书)
T: Do you have any questions?
【设计意图】帮助学生回忆本课词汇和句子,有助于学生对本课知识的巩固、掌握。
T: Then today’s homework(出示家庭作业)
T: Thank you. Are you happy?
Guang: Yes, I’m happy. Do you feel happy?
Ss: Yes, I feel happy too.
Guang: It’s time to say good-bye. See you later.
