教学对象分析:六年级的学生处于升学的重要阶段,心里成长的重要阶段,所以 性格上会有些爱动,注意力容易分散,内心比较浮躁,不求甚解。所以需要有工具和方式去抓住他们的兴趣,吸引他们的注意力。
教材分析:
教学目标:1. 能听,说,读,写和运用短语:light the candles, sing the birthday song, make a wish, blow out the candles, cut the cake, eat the cake.
2. 掌握重点句子:Here is/are … for you.
-How do they celebrate the birthday?
-First, they… and then… 并应用.
3. 了解中西方文化差异
4. 能够通过对生日的学习,感受到母爱的伟大和无私.

Lead-in Show a picture of a girl. Let students guess who she is.(the girl is in lesson 17) She is Lisa.
白板展示图片,提供线索。
From the picture, guess today is Lisa’s …? Lisa’s birthday.

Let’s sing the birthday song for her together, ok? Ok!(Sing the birthday song together.) 白板播放生日快乐歌,营造气氛。

Listening Show a question. But how do they celebrate the birthday? Let's go into Lisa's birthday together. Listen carefully and answer the question. 播放用Cs将图片和听力材料合成的动画。提升视听感受,有影像便于理解所听内容。

Learning new phrases Go into the students. And help them.
Work in groups. Help each other to read the phrase. Then circle the words can't read.
Help them to read voluntarily. 白板展示上一个环节同学们提到的短语,配上图片便于理解汉意。
Let students come to the front to circle the words they can’t read voluntarily.

Correct their wrong pronunciation.


Practicing and reading Play a game.
Play the whiteboard. Rush to answer.
本环节的主要目的是让学生准确朗读,并做到词义识记。

Show them how to play.
Speak new words. Take out letter cards. Work in groups to puzzle words.
( light, wish, blow out, candles) “卡片拼单词”的游戏是每个同学准备一套26个英文字母卡,小组合作拼单词,以达到自然记忆的效果。

Writing and answering the question in “listening” Speak English.
Write on the blackboard voluntarily. 有上一个游戏做铺垫,这个写的过程可以完成的很好。这样我们任务驱动时所留下的问题的答案就呈现在了黑板上。同学们可以准确回答,获得极大的满足感。
Let students answer the question “How do they celebrate the birthday?” Hands up and answer.

Oral practice Introduce a new friend Mary. Invite the students to her birthday party. Go to Mary’s birthday party and celebrate together. 利用东师理想中的录音功能和音频编辑功能创设情境,给主角Mary配上语言,让同学们跟她对话,操练口语。

Cultural difference Mary has a birthday party with friends, how do you celebrate your birthday?
Tell the difference of the celebrating way. Answer the question and feel the difference. 以提问的方式让同学们体会中西方过生日方式的文化差异,扩充知识面。

Affective education Show the electronic photo album. Pay attention to it and listen carefully. 我们都知道我们的出生日就是妈妈的苦难日。在此利用东师理想制作电子相册的功能,声情并茂的为同学们展示从出生到现在妈妈每天都在为我们做的事情,引起学生们的情感共鸣。
Lead students to shout out “Mother, I love you!” Follow the teacher and do it.

Cooperation research Go into the students and help them.
Make a card, write a passage according to the questions on the whiteboard.
根据上一部分同学们的真情流露,此时趁热打铁让大家为妈妈制作卡片,根据白板上的问题,合作探究去创新写作。然后用白板的站台展示小组合作的作品,分享大家的创意。
