一、教材简析
本节课是《精通英语》六年级上册第4单元的第2课，是一节以交际运用为主的词汇句型课。本课教材内容共分为四个部分：第一部分Just practice 要求正确听、说、认读的词语the first month of the year, the second month of the year, New Year’s Day, Spring Festival和两个句子January is the first month of the year. February is the second month of the year.第二部分Just write 学习核心单词January, February，back和their.第三部分Let’s talk，需要运用现在进行时交流在1、2月中的主要活动。第四部分Let’s chant 是一首含有多个字母组合ay发ei音的单词组成的歌谣，引导学生了解字母组合ay在单词中的发音，逐步掌握常见字母组合的发音规律。
二、教学目标：
1．学习以下表示月份和节日的词汇和短语：January, February, New Year’s Day和Spring Festival， 能够以听、说、读，写形式进行交流。
2. 能够听、说、读、写句子：January is the first month of the year. February is the second month of the year. 并能够运用此句型融合以前所学的语言与同学说分享交流一、二月中的节假日及所进行的活动。
3. 通过与谈论关于节日活动及我们日常的幸福生活，制作关于1,2月份的思维导图，实现在真实的情境中运用语言，培养语用能力，发展学生多层次思维能力。。
4. 培养学生的跨文化意识和小组合作能力，了解天津的地域文化，培养学生正确的价值观。
三、教学重难点：
重点：
1．能够掌握以下表示月份和节日的词汇和句型：January, February, New Year’s Day和Spring Festival，January is the first month of the year. February is the second month of the year. 能够听、说、读，写上述内容。
2. 能够运用本课所学语言内容，结合以前所学的语言储备与同学分享交流一、二月的节假日及进行的活动，发展学生的语言能力。
3. 培养学生热爱生活，感恩生活，珍惜现在幸福生活的积极情感，培育学生的爱国情感。
难点：
如何运用本课所学语言，结合语言知识储备，准确表述和分享自己
四、学情分析
六年级的学生在英语学习上已有了一定的基础，但是学生的语言能力不同。一些能力较强的孩子可以运用所学知识结合已有知识储备进行交流分享，提升能力。能力较弱的孩子也可以在本节课中掌握基础的词语和句型，让不同层次的孩子都能有所收获，学有所得。在课程设计上我们继续坚持一贯的协商教学特色，在课前与学生充分协商，了解学生的已知，研究确定本节课教学的形式，激发学生的学习兴趣

交代本节课主题及任务，使学生们明确本节课的学习任务及评价方式，激发学生们的学习热情。
利用现在进行时谈论我们的幸福生活展开讨论，结合主题，进行复习。
学习本课的单词及句型，结合happy scene主题在学习的过程中激发学生已有的知识储备，充分运用语言，自由交流，鼓励学生自由表达，发展学生的语言能力，培养学生的思维素养，达到学以致用的目的。
通过语篇阅读材料，了解天津及其他一些有地方特色的文化习俗并讨论，了解地域文化。
借用节日礼物这个话题，自然引出压岁钱的使用，培养孩子正确的金钱观，价值观。
小组内讨论制作导图，培养学生的语用能力和创新能力。
