Lesson 17
一.学习目标:
1.借助课文教学图片,录音材料及自编韵诗,能够听懂、会说并熟练运用词组:light the candles, sing the birthday song, make a wish, blow out the candles, cut the cake和 eat the cake. 能够听懂、会说并能理解运用词组:a piece of。能够听懂、会说、认读句式Here is a ......for you。
2.通过听录音,能够听懂并抓住对话的情景和大意;在教师和录音的帮助和提示下,通过小组合作,用正确的语音语调流利地朗读对话。
3.借助PPT,学习单,通过小组合作,在庆祝生日的真实的场景中,用Here is a ......for you.light the candles, sing the birthday song, make a wish, blow out the candles, cut the cake和 eat the cake.等与他人进行交际。并进一步体会父母及朋友对自己的爱。
教学重点:学生在小组合作与情景交际中能够灵活准确地运用本课的交际用语,以及对以往学习内容的整合运用。
教学难点:合理地结合以往学习内容进行拓展练习,是教学重要突破的难点。
二.评价任务:
1.小组汇报如何过生日,学生读课文,有节奏的吟唱韵诗。(检测目标1的达成)
2.小组朗读对话。(检测目标2的达成)
3.小组合作表演庆祝生日。(检测目标3的达成)
三.教学过程:
(一)热身(Warm-up&Lead-in)
1.T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, Ms Hua.
T: Nice to see you!
Ss:Nice to see you,too!
T: Are you happy today?
Ss:Yes!
T: Me too. Let’s have a happy English time!
T: Pretty host. It’s your turn.
课前口语练习。(学生根据上节课所学整合内容,进行表演。)
教师总结。(根据学生所表演的内容,教师进行简短总结。)
Choose and answer.
T:Boys and girls. Before the lesson, I have six questions.Each number has one. Every group can choose one to answer.(Ask and answer and then lead in the topic: Birthday)
(二)呈现新课(Presentation)
T:Today is Lisa’s birthday. Gao Wei、Kate and Peter are celebrating Lisa’s birthday. Do you know how to celebrate a birthday? Let’s talk about it.
1.Talk about in groups and report: How to celebrate the birthday?(学习单)
2.Listen.(听录音整体感知课文并导入本课词组)
T: You have so many good ideas. Let’s see: How do they celebrate Lisa’s birthday?
3.New phrases learning.

2.真实的情境中举办庆生日活动。
T:Just now, I gave every group an invitation card.Please open it and read.

T: Whose birthday?
S: Ms Hua’s birthday.
T: What should you say to me?
S: Happy birthday!
T: Thank you! I’m very happy to celebrate the birthday with you! Here is a cake for us. I put candles on the cake.Do you know how old I am.

T: The cake has 12 small candles. How old?
S:12 years old.
T: How about 5 small candles?
S:5 years old.
T:You are so smart. For old people, one big candle shows ten years. Let’s count.
S: Ten, twenty, thirty, thirty-one, thirty-two.
T:Yes.I’m thirty-two.Let’s celebrate together.
T&S: First, let’s light the candles. Then let’s sing the birthday song. And then let’s make a wish. After that let’s blow out the candles and cut the cake. At last let’s eat the cake.
T: Is it yummy?
S: Yes!
T: It’s time to show your love for me. Look at the piece of paper. Every group can choose one to act.

(四)总结本课形成性评价
每个小组都能积极合作,运用所学,进行练习,为小组的荣誉贡献一份力量。并渗透We should love your family,love our country,love our environment and share love with each other.Thanksgiving, is the best habit.
(五)布置作业(Homework)
1.Do a survey.(调查父母和好友的生日。)
2.Draw pictures.(以连环画的形式,画出自己的生日过程,配上简单的英文说明。)
