1、自主学习:
A.知识点:
形容词比较级的用法
用于两者(人或事物)之间的比较。在“比较级+than”的句型中,当than的
前后所使用的动词相同时,通常用助动词代替后面的动词。该动词或助动词可
以省略。e.g.Tina is more athletic than Sam.
He works much harder than I(do)/He works much harder than me.
形容词的比较级的构成:
(1)单音节词在词尾加-er构成比较级。long-longer
(2)以不发音的e结尾的词只在词尾加-r构成比较级。nice-nicer
(3)重读闭音节以一个辅音字母结尾的,双写后一个字母在加-er构成比较级。
big-bigger, hot-hotter, thin-thinner, fat-fatter
(4)以辅音字母加y结尾的词,变y为i,再加-er. heavy-heavier
(5)不规则变化。good-better, bad/badly-worse, many/much-more,
little-less,far-farther/further
注:在形容词和副词的比较级前,有时可以加much,a little,a lot,a bit,even等来修饰。如:much better, a little taller,a bit warmer,even worse.
