一、教学目标:
学会一二月份英文表达，能询问表达一二月常见的活动和节日。
四会词汇：January, February, the first month, the second month, New Year’s Day, Spring Festival。
结合情景灵活运用。January is the first month of the year.
February is the second month of the year.
了解一二月份涉及的中西方文化节日及习俗。
二、学情分析:
大部分学生有一定的英语学习基础，学习新知前有着相当丰富的生活经验和实践积累。通过本单元的学习，应使学生尽快能够对英语学习有更高的热情，并能够在学习和课堂活动中表现出一定的参与能力。能够了解全年六个月以及每个月的节日特点。学生应该对本单元涉及到的西方节日及习俗很感兴趣。
三、教学重点:
January, February, the first month, the second month, New Year’s Day, Spring Festival的英文表达。
四、教学难点:
一二月份涉及的中西方文化节日及习俗。

Sequence:词卡接龙游戏：两组两组比赛 one-first ,two-second……
学生举词卡，1-12基数词对序数词。
Today we are going to talk about the months. From this class, we begin to collect month cards. When you gather these 12 month cards, you can make a canlendar like this.（通过问答引出12个月）
Questions:
T: xx, how many months are there in a year? What are they?
T: Yes. These 12 months make a year.

Game: 根据图片或阅读提示信息猜月份
A: Look at this picture, guess:

Yes, Spring Festival.（板书：Spring Festival）
T：Spring Festival is usually in January or February.
For Spring Festival, people have a holiday and they celebrate Spring Festival.

T: How do people celebrate Spring Festival?
图片：go shopping, make dumplings, paste couplets, set off firecrackers
Dragon-lion dance, watch fireworks displays, lantern show
T: In January or February. All people in China have a holiday. They go back home to celebrate the festival with their families. Look, they are celebrating Spring Festival.
