阅读理解(分两节,共45分)
第一节、阅读选择(40分)
A
It
was
a
Sunday
and
the
heavy
storm
had
lasted
all
night.
The
morning
after
the
storm,
though,
was
beautiful:
bright
sunshine,
a
blue
sky
and
a
calm
sea.
My
father
invited
my
sister
and
me
to
go
fishing
with
him.
I
was
only
14
and
fishing
had
never
been
my
thing,
but
I
decided
to
go.
I'm
so
glad
about
what
I
did.
Being
on
the
boat,
we
found
there
was
something
meters
away.
When
moving
nearer,
we
saw
it
was
a
mother
whale
with
her
baby.
We
couldn't
believe
it-there
aren't
any
whales
along
the
coast
here.
The
storm
must
have
driven
them
there,
where
the
sea
water
was
so
dirty
that
nothing
could
live
in
it.
The
little
baby
whale
was
stuck(卡住)
and
could
not
move.
The
mother
went
down
into
the
water
and
came
up
suddenly,
making
big
waves.
"She's
trying
to
help
her
baby,
but
on
the
wrong
side,"
my
father
said.
At
this
point,
my
father
moved
our
boat
to
the
other
side
and,
heading
the
boat
towards
the
baby
whale,
pushed
it
gently.
With
our
several
gentle
pushes
the
baby
whales
turned
over
and
disappeared
under
water.
Then
it
swam
up
right
beside
its
mum.
They
made
great
efforts
to
swim
towards
the
deep
sea
but
failed
and
started
heading
in
the
wrong
direction.
We
hurried
up
to
the
whales
and
tried
to
lead
them
to
the
sea.
Slowly,
they
let
us
lead
them,
sometimes
rising
from
the
water
right
beside
us
to
breathe
and
to
give
us
a
trusting
look
with
those
huge
eyes.
Once
they
hit
their
first
part
of
clean
water
from
the
sea,
the
mum
gave
us
a
wave
with
her
tail
and
then
they
swam
into
the
deep
sea.
In
the
excitement
it
had
felt
like
only
a
few
minutes,
but
we
had
been
with
those
wonderful
animals
for
almost
an
hour
and
a
half.
That
was
the
simple
and
lasting
beauty
of
the
day.
Nearly
four
decades
later,
I
still
look
back
fondly
to
that
golden
day
at
sea.

C
So
you
thought
the
hamburger
was
the
world’s
most
popular
fast
food?
After
all,
McDonald’s
Golden
Arches
span
the
globe.
But
no,
there
is
another
truly
universal
fast
food,
the
ultimate
fast
food.
It’s
easy
to
make,
easy
to
serve,
much
more
varied
than
the
hamburger,
can
be
eaten
with
the
hands,
and
it’s
delivered
to
your
front
door
or
served
in
fancy
restaurants.
It’s
been
one
of
America’s
favorite
foods
for
over
50
years.
It
is,
of
course,
the
pizza.
It’s
kind
of
silly
to
talk
about
the
moment
when
pizza
was
“invented”.
It
changed
over
the
years,
but
one
thing’s
for
certain—it’s
been
around
for
a
very
long
time.
The
idea
of
using
pieces
of
flat,
round
bread
as
plates
came
from
the
Greeks.
They
called
them
‘plakuntos’
and
ate
them
with
various
simple
toppings
such
as
oil,
garlic,
onions,
and
herbs.
The
Romans
enjoyed
eating
something
similar
and
called
it
‘picea’.
By
about
1000
AD
in
the
city
of
Naples,
‘picea’
had
become
‘pizza’
and
people
were
experimenting
with
more
toppings:
cheese,
ham,
anchovies,
and
finally
the
tomato,
brought
to
Italy
from
Mexico
and
Peru
in
the
sixteenth
century.
Naples
became
the
pizza
capital
of
the
world.
In
1889,
King
UmbertoⅠ
and
Queen
Margherita
heard
about
pizza
and
asked
to
try
it.
They
invited
pizza
maker,
Raffele
Esposito,
to
make
it
for
them.
He
decided
to
make
the
pizza
like
the
Italian
flag,
so
he
used
red
tomatoes,
white
mozzarella
cheese,
and
green
basil
leaves.
The
Queen
loved
it
and
the
new
pizza
was
named
‘Pizza
Margherita’
in
her
honour.
Pizza
migrated
to
America
with
the
Italians
at
the
end
of
the
nineteenth
century.
The
first
pizzeria
in
the
United
States
was
opened
in
1905
at
53
Spring
Street,
New
York
City,
by
Gennaro
Lombardi.
But
the
popularity
of
pizza
really
exploded
when
American
soldiers
returned
from
Italy
after
World
War

and
raved
about
‘that
great
Italian
dish’.
Americans
are
now
the
greatest
producers
and
consumers
of
pizza
in
the
world.
36.
Which
is
the
correct
order
of
the
change
of
pizza?
A.
Plakuntos→pizza→picea
B.
Pizza→plakuntos→picea
C.
Picea→Plakuntos→pizza
D.
Plakuntos
→picea→pizza
37.
Why
are
Mexico
and
Peru
important
in
the
development
of
pizza?
A.
Because
pizza
first
became
popular
in
these
countries.
B.
Because
pizza
was
invented
in
these
countries.
C.
Because
one
topping
was
brought
to
Italy
from
these
countries.
D.
Because
the
people
in
these
countries
are
the
greatest
consumers
of
pizza.
38.
What

36.细节理解题。根据第二段The
idea
of
using
pieces
of
flat,
round
bread
as
plates
came
from
the
Greeks.
They
called
them
‘plakuntos’
和The
Romans

and
called
it
‘picea’.
和By
about
1000
AD
in
the
city
of
Naples,
‘picea’
had
become
‘pizza’可知先是希腊人吃“plakuntos”,然后罗马人喜欢“picea”。
最后在大约在公元1000年那不勒斯市,“
picea”已成为“
pizza”。故顺序应是Plakuntos
→picea→pizza。故选D。
37.细节理解题。根据第二段people
were
experimenting
with
more
toppings:
cheese,
ham,
anchovies,
and
finally
the
tomato,
brought
to
Italy
from
Mexico
and
Peru
in
the
sixteenth
century.可知披萨的配料西红柿是16世纪从墨西哥和秘鲁带到意大利的。故选C。
38.细节理解题。根据第二段He

to
make
the
pizza
like
the
Italian
flag,
so
he
used
red
tomatoes,
white
mozzarella
cheese,
and
green
basil
leaves.
可知厨师按照意大利国旗那样制作披萨,所以他使用了红色的西红柿,白色的马苏里拉奶酪和绿色的罗勒叶。因此披萨和意大利国旗颜色一样。故选B。
39.细节理解题+历史知识考查。根据最后一段But
the
popularity
of
pizza
really
exploded
when
American
soldiers
returned
from
Italy
after
World
War

and
raved
about
‘that
great
Italian
dish’.意为“但是,当第二次世界大战后美国士兵从意大利返回并热衷于谈论“那道美味的意大利菜”时,比萨饼的流行确实爆炸了。”由此推知披萨流行于第二次世界大战之后,即1945年之后。故选A。
40.最佳标题。根据第一段So
you
thought
the
hamburger
was
the
world’s
most
popular
fast
food?
...It
is,
of
course,
the
pizza.意为“因此,您认为汉堡包是世界上最受欢迎的快餐食品吗?
...当然是披萨”可知文章讲述的是披萨如何诞生并流行于全美乃至世界的。故选B。

Teenage
boys

be
doing
their

some
good,
a
new
study
suggests.
Swedish

found
that
among
nearly
5,000

they

those
who
eat
fish
more

A
It
was
a
Sunday
and
the
heavy
storm
had
lasted
all
night.
The
morning
after
the
storm,
though,
was
beautiful:
bright
sunshine,
a
blue
sky
and
a
calm
sea.
My
father
invited
my
sister
and
me
to
go
fishing
with
him.
I
was
only
14
and
fishing
had
never
been
my
thing,
but
I
decided
to
go.
I'm
so
glad
about
what
I
did.
Being
on
the
boat,
we
found
there
was
something
meters
away.
When
moving
nearer,
we
saw
it
was
a
mother
whale
with
her
baby.
We
couldn't
believe
it-there
aren't
any
whales
along
the
coast
here.
The
storm
must
have
driven
them
there,
where
the
sea
water
was
so
dirty
that
nothing
could
live
in
it.
The
little
baby
whale
was
stuck(卡住)
and
could
not
move.
The
mother
went
down
into
the
water
and
came
up
suddenly,
making
big
waves.
"She's
trying
to
help
her
baby,
but
on
the
wrong
side,"
my
father
said.
At
this
point,
my
father
moved
our
boat
to
the
other
side
and,
heading
the
boat
towards
the
baby
whale,
pushed
it
gently.
With
our
several
gentle
pushes
the
baby
whales
turned
over
and
disappeared
under
water.
Then
it
swam
up
right
beside
its
mum.
They
made
great
efforts
to
swim
towards
the
deep
sea
but
failed
and
started
heading
in
the
wrong
direction.
We
hurried
up
to
the
whales
and
tried
to
lead
them
to
the
sea.
Slowly,
they
let
us
lead
them,
sometimes
rising
from
the
water
right
beside
us
to
breathe
and
to
give
us
a
trusting
look
with
those
huge
eyes.
Once
they
hit
their
first
part
of
clean
water
from
the
sea,
the
mum
gave
us
a
wave
with
her
tail
and
then
they
swam
into
the
deep
sea.
In
the
excitement
it
had
felt
like
only
a
few
minutes,
but
we
had
been
with
those
wonderful
animals
for
almost
an
hour
and
a
half.
That
was
the
simple
and
lasting
beauty
of
the
day.
Nearly
four
decades
later,
I
still
look
back
fondly
to
that
golden
day
at
sea.

B
Scientists
have
learned
a
lot
about
the
kinds
of
food
people
need.
They
say
that
there
are
several
kinds
of
food
that
people
should
eat
every
day.
They
are:
(1)
green
and
yellow
vegetables
of
all
kinds;
(2)
citrus(柑桔)
fruits
and
tomatoes;
(3)
potatoes
and
other
fruits
and
vegetables;
(4)
meat
of
all
kinds,
fish
and
eggs;
(5)
milk
and
foods
made
from
milk;
(6)
bread
or
cereal(谷物),
rice
is
also
in
this
kind
of
food;
(7)
butter,
or
something
like
butter.
People
in
different
places
of
the
world
eat
different
kinds
of
things.
Foods
are
cooked
and
eaten
in
many
different
kinds
of
ways.
People
in
different
countries
eat
at
different
times
of
the
day.
In
some
places
people
eat
once
or
twice
a
day;
in
other
countries
people
eat
three
or
four
times.
Scientists
say
that
none
of
the
differences
is
really
important.
It
doesn’t
matter
whether
foods
are
eaten
raw
or
cooked.
It
doesn’t
matter
if
a
person
eats
dinner
at
4
o’clock
in
the
afternoon
or
at
11
o’clock
at
night.
The
important
thing
is
what
you
eat
every
day.
There
are
two
problems,
then,
in
feeding
the
large
number
of
people
on
earth.
The
first
is
to
find
some
ways
to
feed
the
world’s
population
so
that
no
one
is
hungry.
The
second
is
to
make
sure
that
people
everywhere
have
the
right
kinds
of
food
to
make
them
grow
to
be
strong
and
healthy.

Which
of
the
following
is
NOT
true?

People
in
some
places
don’t
have
enough
to
eat.
B.
There
are
too
many
people
in
the
world.
C.
One
of
the
problems
is

no
one
is
hungry.
D.
The
scientists
are
trying

to

If
there
is
Paragraph

what
do
you
think
is
going
to
be
talked
about?
A.
When
people
eat
their
meals.
B.
What
to

with
the
two
problems.
C.
How
to

C
So
you
thought
the
hamburger
was
the
world’s
most
popular
fast
food?
After
all,
McDonald’s
Golden
Arches
span
the
globe.
But
no,
there
is
another
truly
universal
fast
food,
the
ultimate
fast
food.
It’s
easy
to
make,
easy
to
serve,
much
more
varied
than
the
hamburger,
can
be
eaten
with
the
hands,
and
it’s
delivered
to
your
front
door
or
served
in
fancy
restaurants.
It’s
been
one
of
America’s
favorite
foods
for
over
50
years.
It
is,
of
course,
the
pizza.
It’s
kind
of
silly
to
talk
about
the
moment
when
pizza
was
“invented”.
It
changed
over
the
years,
but
one
thing’s
for
certain—it’s
been
around
for
a
very
long
time.
The
idea
of
using
pieces
of
flat,
round
bread
as
plates
came
from
the
Greeks.
They
called
them
‘plakuntos’
and
ate
them
with
various
simple
toppings
such
as
oil,
garlic,
onions,
and
herbs.
The
Romans
enjoyed
eating
something
similar
and
called
it
‘picea’.
By
about
1000
AD
in
the
city
of
Naples,
‘picea’
had
become
‘pizza’
and
people
were
experimenting
with
more
toppings:
cheese,
ham,
anchovies,
and
finally
the
tomato,
brought
to
Italy
from
Mexico
and
Peru
in
the
sixteenth
century.
Naples
became
the
pizza
capital
of
the
world.
In
1889,
King
UmbertoⅠ
and
Queen
Margherita
heard
about
pizza
and
asked
to
try
it.
They
invited
pizza
maker,
Raffele
Esposito,
to
make
it
for
them.
He
decided
to
make
the
pizza
like
the
Italian
flag,
so
he
used
red
tomatoes,
white
mozzarella
cheese,
and
green
basil
leaves.
The
Queen
loved
it
and
the
new
pizza
was
named
‘Pizza
Margherita’
in
her
honour.
Pizza
migrated
to
America
with
the
Italians
at
the
end
of
the
nineteenth
century.
The
first
pizzeria
in
the
United
States
was
opened
in
1905
at
53
Spring
Street,
New
York
City,
by
Gennaro
Lombardi.
But
the
popularity
of
pizza
really
exploded
when
American
soldiers
returned
from
Italy
after
World
War

and
raved
about
‘that
great
Italian
dish’.
Americans
are
now
the
greatest
producers
and
consumers
of
pizza
in
the
world.

developed
by
the
US
Department
of
Agriculture
(USDA),
is
an
excellent
tool
to
help
you
make
healthy
food
choices.
The
Food
Pyramid
is
actually
made
up
of
six
groups.
The
group
located
at
the
most
bottom
part
is
the
Grain
group.
Next
are
the
Vegetable
and
the
Fruit
groups.
The
Dairy
and
the
Proteins
groups
are
tied
at
the
third
part
of
the
pyramid.
The
group
at
the
uppermost
part
of
the
pyramid
is
made
up
of
sweets,
fats,
and
oils.
The
Food
Pyramid
can

get
the
nutrients
you
need,
and
the
suggested
serving
sizes
can
help
you
control
the
amount
of
calories,
fat,
or
sugar
in
your
diet.
It
is
recommended
that
we
must
take

servings
of

every
day.
The
foods
in
Vegetables
and
Fruits
group
are
rich
in
nutrients.
Many
are
excellent
sources
of
vitamin
A
and
vitamin
C.
The
Food
Pyramid
suggests
3
to
5
servings
of
vegetables
each
day.
Products
like
cheese,
yogurt,
and
milk
belong
to
the
Dairy
group.
One
must
have
at
least
2
servings
of
foods
in
this
group
every
day.
Proteins
products
can
come
from
various
sources
like
fish,
beef,
pork
and
chicken.
Eggs
also
belong
to
this
food
group.
We
should
take
2-3
servings
of
foods
in
this
group.
