教材分析 冀教版小学英语第五册第二单元主要学习了中国以及其他四个以英语为官方语言的国家。第7课是第二单元的第一课，本课为新授课，通过学习本课，要求学生用英语简单介绍中国。
学情分析 本课授课对象为5年级学生，班级人数50人左右，通过两年的英语学习，学生对于英语这一第二语言有了形象具体的认识，学生整体差异不大，有个别学困生。大部分学生勤学好问，上课积极发言，学习热情较高。
教学目标 知识与能力目标 1.掌握单词China, Chinese, speak, capital
2.认读中国名胜并简单介绍其特点
3.巩固熟练运用句型

过程与方法目标 在教学过程中通过PPT的直观呈现来教授词汇，让学生在词汇与含义之间建立直接的联系；通过分组教学来整体带动学生参与学习，尽量减小学生间的差距，以完成本课难点的教学。
情感态度与价值观目标 培养学生热爱祖国的情感。
教学重难点 重点 掌握单词及熟练运用句型

教学策略与 设计说明 本节课采用了多媒体课件展示、启发式学习法、课堂讨论法、自主学习和合作学习法。在教学中通过多媒体课件展示，激发学生的好奇心与求知欲，并综合运用了讲授式、启发式、自主学习、合作学习等各种策略，指导学生进行自主探索学习，培养学生综合实践能力。教学的基本原则应该把学生看作有个性的学习者，教学的设计要适合学生的身心发展，要鼓励学生大胆使用英语，激发她们主动去研究自己感兴趣的问题并予以合作解决。在设计设计本课时，我遵循了“教师为主导，学生为主体”的教学原则，将课堂时间更多的交于学生，才能最终使学生独立介绍中国。

We live in China.
China is great.
T: Look! This is a map of China.
China is a big country.
This is a map of the world.
China is in the east of the world. The map of China looks like a rooster.
Can you find China? Great!
T: Look at here. This is Beijing.
We know Beijing is the capital city of China.
Guess what does it mean?
T: Now answer my question.
What is the capital city of China?
Then ask your partner about this question.
T: Look! This is the flag of China. What colour is it? What can you see on the flag?
T: Look at the pictures. Let抯 learn the famous places in China.
T: This is Tian抋nmen Square.
T: This is the Palace Museum.
T: This is the Great Wall.
T: Choose your favourite place and talk about it.

教学反思 这节课的知识量比较大，为了提高学生学习兴趣，帮助学生尽快掌握本课重难点，我使用了课件来配合教学。在整节课的教学活动中，课堂气氛比较活跃，学生能在课堂上掌握本课的知识，并转化为自主描述。但是这节课仍然存在一些问题：
1．注意课堂上及时纠正学生的错误，并且用多样的形势纠正学生的错误。
2．新授单词要反复练习熟读，应进一步增加练习的形式和数量。
3．课堂上语速略快，要注意重点词的训练，培养学生集中注意力听课的好习惯。
4．拓展不够。可以在本课已有知识的基础上对中国的一些人文知识进行拓展。
5．课文朗读的形式还需要进一步丰富。
6．课堂上对学生的评价还不够。评价的形式还应该更多样一些。
