Lesson10:The U.K.

一、(课件)教学目标：
（一）知识目标：
重点词汇：the United Kingdom ，London，easy, a little same, king, queen, palace, Buckingham Palace 重点句型： 1.The U.K. is west and a little north of China. 2.That’s? easy! 3.Is the U.K. south of China? 4.It’s the same colour as the U.S. flag! 5.Kings and queens live in palaces.
(二) 能力目标： 1. 能够熟练的介绍英国的基本情况：地理位置、所说语言、国旗和主要_??????_。 2. 会写出以上内容的英文单词。
（三）情感目标：英国是世界重要的国家之一，希望同学们在课外多找些相关资料，了解英国，丰富自己的见识，同时学习他们优秀的文化。教学重点：重点词汇和重点句型。教学难点：能够熟练的介绍英国的基本情况
二、教具学具准备：地图、卡片。
三、教学过程：
1. Greetings .
2.（课件） Game: Happy Face, Sad Face. I live in _____. I speak _____. _____is north /south/east/west of _____. This is the capital city of _____. I know this country. This is ______.
3.游戏“看图_è??è??_” 如：教师出示前面学过国家的地图，学生快速说出这个国家的名字，并迅速说出这个国家的相关信息，同说一个国家的学生为一组，分别是China组、 Canada组、 the U.S.组、没有发言的同学是 the U.K.这一组。（通过这个游戏考查学生对前面内容的掌握情况，及时巩固知识，具有一定的趣味性。将学生的注意力拉到英语客堂中来，并为以后的游戏打下基础。）
4. 新知识 ：（1）.出示“China、 Canada、 the U.S.、 the U.K.”这几个国家的国旗。 T: Do you know which country’s flag this is?（指着英国国旗） S: 英国。 T: It’s the U.K.’ flag. What colour is the flag? S: It’s red、 white and blue. 教师讲解重点单词及句型：the United Kingdom , U.K.，a little same ?It’s the same colour as the U.S. flag! （2）. T: U.K. is short for the United Kingdom. Look at the map. Who can point to the U.K.?学生指出后，_è?????_讨论问题： ? Do you know the capital city of the U.K.? ? What do they speak in the U.K.? ? Where is the U.K.? _?±????_答案: London is the capital city of the U.K. ?
