二、学情分析:本班学生共45人,学生已经具备了两年的英语学习基础,孩子们在第一单元已经接触和掌握了比较级的初步用法,对于交通工具bus、bicycle、truck等也有所掌握,口语表达能力较之以往有明显提高。
三、教学内容分析:
本课是冀教版小学《学英语》(三年级起始版)教材第五册第21课关于交通方式的教学。内容主要讲了比较级的用法。
四、教学目标:
1、知识目标:
(1)掌握四会单词airplane(plane),train, fast, slow, faster, slower.
(2)听懂、会说句型____ is faster(slower) than ____.并能在实际情境中进行运用。
2、能力目标:
能够正确运用本课单词及比较级句型表达事物的快慢。
3、情感目标:
培养学生小组合作中互帮互助的竞争意识。

六、教具准备:
录音机、多媒体课件、交通工具图片。
七、教学过程:
(一)课前播放Chant《How do you go to school?》
(二)Class Opening and Review:
1.Greeting:
How are you today? Are you ready for English class?
2. Review:
①写词:Please take out of your learning notes. Finish task1. Write the words about the vehicles.
Who wants to write it on the blackboard? (学生写完之后选图贴在词汇上方)
订正书写词汇。
T:Let’s look! Are they right ? Please read it together !
②出示中国地图。
T:You did a good job! Look here, I have a picture. What country is this ?
Ss: It’s China.
T: Can you say something about China ?(学生介绍中国)
Look at this map. This is our city.(指石家庄问)What city is it?
Ss: It’s Shijiazhuang.
T: Yes,It’s the capital of Heibei Province. Who lives in Shijiazhuang?
Ss: LiMing’s family.
T: Yes,we know LiMing and his mother are going on a trip to Beijing. Do you know something about Beijing? (出示北京风光片)
Is it beautiful?
I also want to go on a trip to Beijing. Can I go there on my bicycle?
Why?
Ss:Beijing is far from our city.

T:Yes,we can go there by bus. But it will spend a long time.

T:an airplane(领读)we also can say “a plane”(指名读)
教授train,强调tr的发音,举例教学trip tree(男女生分读)
教授fast、slow

越来越快地读,强调a 的发音)
A bus is slow. Slow slow slow(速度越来越慢地读,强调ow的发音)
师生用手势(动作)边做边说fast 和 slow
T: Let’s have a race. I need two students. Who wants to try?
Listen carefully, when I say “one、two,go!”Please run as fast as you can. Are you ready?

师对胜利者说:Great!You’re the winner!
T:S1 is faster than S2. S2 is slower than S1.

师帮助学生理解:For example,I am taller than you. You’re shorter than me.
S1 is taller than S2. S2 is shorter than S1.
(手拿飞机和火车图)
T:An airplane is fast. A train is fast,too.
Which one is faster?
引导学生比较并表述:
An airplane is faster than a train. A train is slower than an airplane.
(手拿火车和汽车图)引导学生比较并表述:
A train is faster than a bus. A bus is slower than a train.
由板书引出句子:A train is faster than a bus but slower than an airplane.
⑤Group Work:
