Lesson 17 The Travel Plan 教学设计
一、教材分析:
这是冀教版小学英语第五册第三单元A travel plan 中的最后一课新授内容。在本单元李明邀请Jenny和Danny来中国旅行,他们将在中国展开了不起的探索之旅。本单元的教学主旨是使学生掌握有关中国首都北京名胜古迹的基本词汇和表达方式,学生要学习谈论旅行方式、北京及其他地区的景点,还要学习如何制定旅行计划。本课的主要内容就是和学生讨论李明的旅行计划,让学生能制定并写出自己的旅行计划。这一话题学生很感兴趣,所创设的情境也很真实,学生在交流的时候有话可说,也乐于去交谈。
二、教学目标:
知识与技能目标:
1.学生能在情境下正确运用并会书写单词:Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
2.学生能听懂、会说句型:I’m going to…/We are going to…; I/We will…并能在情境下正确运用所学句型。
3.学生能制定并说出自己的旅行计划。
学习策略目标:
1.在教师的引导下,学生能根据图片提示理解李明的旅行计划,猜出新词,拓展思维。
2.结合情境,让学生正确理解并运用主要句型,培养学生的综合语言运用能力。
情感态度目标:
通过多样性的活动和教学评价,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。通过感受文本内容,激发学生乐于生活,体验和朋友旅行的快乐。
三、教学重点及难点
重点:学生能听懂、会说词语:Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 并能在句子中正确使用。
难点:学生能在情境下正确运用所学句型进行表达,达到有效的语言输出。

六、教学过程
Step 1. Warming up
T: Good morning, boys and girls. Look out, how’s the weather today? (It’s sunny.) It’s a sunny day today. What day is it? (It’s Wednesday.) Yes, it’s Wednesday today. And it’s sunny. I’m very happy on a sunny day. I am happy on Wednesday. Are you happy on sunny Wednesday? Are you ready for our English? …. Very good!
[设计思路:简单的师生问候将学生带入英语学习状态,并使课堂形成了融洽的师生关系。]
Step 2. Presentation
1.T: We know LiMing will have a trip. Where will he go? (Beijing.) Who does LiMing want to go with? (Jenny and Danny.) How will they go to Beijing? (By train.) When will they go to Beijing? (In the morning on Feb. 3.) Okay, let抯 listen to LiMing.
Play the video and have the class follow along.
T: We can see 揼o to Beijing is the thing that they will do in the future, so LiMing can use two pattern to say: We are going to 卭r We will They are the same.
[设计思路:问答活动引出旧知,为新知学习做了很好的铺垫。让学生理解将来时的表达及两种句式的转换。] 创设情境,引出本课主题。通过提问,激发学生对文本探知的欲望。培养学生读图预测的学习能力。
2. T: They are going to Beijing on Feb.3. So LiMing makes a travel plan for their trip. What is a plan? Guess. (Let the class guess the meaning) A plan is the things you will do in the future.
Read the title several times.
T: What is LiMing’s plan? What will they do? Now let’s have a look together.
Show the PPT: How long is their trip? (Seven days. ) What days? (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday) Yes, LiMing makes his plan for seven days. Can you say these days? (let the class spell the words) What will they do on these days? Let’s look at them one by one.
On Sunday, we will/are going to get ready for the trip. On Monday, we will/are going to Beijing. On Tuesday, we will/are going to Tian’anmen Square. On Wednesday, we will/are going to the Palace Museum. On Thursday, we will/are going to the Great Wall. On Friday, we will/are going shopping. On Saturday, we will/are going home.
Have the class repeat these sentences several times.

3. T: Let’s look at LiMing’s travel plan.
Show the PPT.
Read the passage together.

Step 3. Practice
T: Do you love to travel? Where do you want to go? I have some pictures for you.
Show the pictures of different places.
Ask: Where will you go? How will you go there?
Let the volunteers answer in this sentence: I will go to…by…/I am going to …by…
[设计思路:检测学生对文本的理解,为后面的有效输出做准备,也是给予学生的阶段性评价过程。]
Step 4. Production
T: What will you do there? Now you can make your travel plans on your books.
After some minutes, let some volunteers share their plans.
