教材分析 The Travel Plan一课是五年级上册Unit3 A Travel Plan 这一单元的第五课，课题类型为新授课，通过前几课的学习，学生已经初步掌握了有关北京名胜古迹词汇及表达方式，本课主要写如何制定旅游计划，并且用有关星期的词汇和句型：On Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/ Thursday/Friday/Saturday,I will ... .让学生学会如何思考、谈论、讲述和制定在北京旅行的计划，学习制定旅行计划基本语言技能。
学情分析 英语学习的最终目的是培养学生的综合语言运用能力。虽然四年级上册学生初步学习并会听、说、读有关星期的词汇，但由于本班五年级的学生，基础知识掌握不牢，因此在复习有关星期词汇的过程，运用多种方式和表达旅行计划的过程中适当降低句型表达的难度，如：I’m going to ... . /We are going to.......，省略，只运用On ....，I/We will go to.....进行表达，把学生置身于他们熟悉的环境氛围中，引导学生在真实的情境中复习、体验、感受新知，激发起学习的兴趣。课堂上要有意识地加强对学生学习策略的指导，积极创造条件，让他们在学习和运用英语的过程中逐步学会如何学习。
教学目标 知识与技能目标 1.学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇：Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday,Friday,Saturday。
2.学生能认读、 理解并运用下列基本的句型结构：

教学反思 本课围绕“The travel plan”旅游计划这个主题设定两个目标。一是学生听懂会说有关星期的单词，学生基本达到了这个目标。二是“Making a travel plan”制定旅游计划，旅游计划的制定需要学生有一定量的英语词汇积累和I will……一般将来时的运用，考虑不同层次学生学习状况，运用多种方式和表达旅行计划的过程中适当降低句型表达的难度，如：I’m going to ... . /We are going to.......，省略，第一课时只运用On ....，I/We will go to.....进行表达。另外从旅游时需要准备什么入手，把学生置身于较为真实的语用环境中，更加符合旅行的真实情境，引导学生在真实的情境中复习、体验、感受新知，激发起学习的兴趣
不足之处：由于学生的学习程度不同，在复习引入部分用时过长，计划制定环节中留给学生展示操练的时间较少。
