教学分析
学习者
分析 五年级的学生对于动物的单词已经学过一些,对动物的学习有了一定的兴趣与基础,所以本课12生肖的单词有一定的铺垫作用。对于本课的句型是基于12生肖的,学生对于本课的新知识不难理解。
学习内容分析 本课的是五年级第四单元的第三课。本课是基于四单元的主题,介绍中国的12生肖,这是中国特有的,讲述中国特有的与英语的结合,真正的使英语达到学以致用。

教学目标
语言知识
和语言技能 学生能够听懂,会说,理解,会写单词year, also. (简单介绍also和too的区别)。
理解,应用下列句型:What is your year?
My year is the year of the rabbit.
学习策略 1. 通过以旧带新的方式复习旧的单词再学习新的单词。
2. 注重语言生活化的输出,本课涉及到的重点句型让学生在真实的语境运用。
情感态度
培养学生学习英语的兴趣和好奇心。
预习作业 听读课文3遍,画出不会的地方。

教学过程
一 Greeting
T : Hello ,pupils. How are you today?
Ss: I’m fine, thank you. And you?
T: I’m fine, too. I am 27 years old.
How old are you ? (找出多名学生提问)
S: I am ten years old .
设计意图:本节课的一开始和学生打招呼有利于很快的把学生带入到学习英语的氛围中,减少教师和学生的陌生感。询问学生的年龄为之后属相的学习打好基础。
二 Review
T: How many months are there in a year?
Ss: Twelve.
T: What are they ?
Ss: January, February, March, April……………………
T: Good jobs, kids.
How many days are there in a week.
S: There are seven days in a week.
T: What are they ?
S: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
T: Great.
设计意图:通过旧知识的复习,为之后要学习的新知识打好铺垫。使学生能更好的接受新的知识。
三 New Concepts
T: Months have names. Days have names ,too. In China years have names .
Now ,look at these pictures .Let’s choose .
设计意图:幻灯片出示的大量图片复习学过的单词,同时考查学生对12生肖的掌握情况。
T: Look at these pictures. They are the name of the years .
Dragon , rat, rooster , ox (学生反复跟读掌握单词)
设计意图: 选出学生陌生的生肖单词,有重点的学习,同时教给学生一个很好的学习策略。
T: How many animals are there ?
S: Twelve .
T: let’s read them together . Good job.
Look at me ( 教师做跳的动作模仿兔子) What is animal?
Ss; Rabbit .
T: You are so clever. Let’s play a game. Guess these animals.You can use noises and actions. Are you clear?
Ss: Yes.
T: Who like to have a try ?
Ss: Oink ,oink …
T: What is animal ?
Ss: pig
T: Are they right ?
S: Yes.
T: Go back your seat. (以此类推做以上的游戏)
设计意图: 通过游戏的方式让学生掌握12生肖的单词。让学生在快乐中学习。
T:There are twelve animals . They are not in order. Let’s put them in order. The first one is rat . The second one is ……
设计意图:给12生肖排序再一次复习12生肖的单词,并且板书为下边的学习做铺垫。
T: 教师指着兔子说My year is the year of the rabbit.
What is your year ? 并且板书,学生看句子跟读句子。
T: Practice these sentences with your friend.
What is your year ?
S1: My year is the year of the monkey.
S2: My year is the year of the monkey.
T: His year is the year of the monkey. Her year is also the year of the monkey. Her year is the year of the monkey, too.
(too 放于句尾, also 放于句中。)
Ok.Stop here. Look at these pictures. Have ever seen them ?

设计意图: 幻灯片出示爸爸去哪儿里小朋友的角色让学生练习。运用学生感兴趣的话题练习本课的重点句型,可以收到事半功倍的效果。
T: Let’s play a game . 幻灯片继续出现爸爸去哪儿里小朋友的角色。让是猜测She is 8 years old. What is her/his year ?
设计意图:通过告诉学生的年龄来猜测她的属相,学生积极的参与进来,课堂气氛十分的活跃。

设计意图: 通过表格总计家庭人员的属相,再一次复习本课的重点知识。
