(一)知识与技能目标:
A.教学重点:1、词汇:能够听说读写boat, moon ,wonder
2、句子:能够听说读下列句子
What do we do on the Dragon Boat Festival?
We have dragon boat races and eat zongzi.
What do we do on the Mid-Autumn Festival?
We watch the moon and eat moon cakes.
3、语篇:能够理解课文,正确、流利朗读课文,能够在图片的指引下小组合作复述课文
B.教学难点:1、快速反映两个节日名称、时间以及习俗。
2、小组合作复述课文。
(二)过程与方法:利用多种形式进行听说读写背诵的训练,用到了课件,图片,视频和Hi-teach软件中的挑人功能,计时功能,评价方式,整节课利用活动和竞赛调动学生学习积极性。
(三)情感态度和价值观:通过介绍两个传统节日,是孩子们了解中国是一个有悠久文化的文明古国和中华民族是一个崇尚家庭团圆,阖家幸福的民族,培养孩子们的民族自豪感。
教学过程
Greeting:
Good afternoon,class! Today is ____, What’s the weather like today? How do you feel? Yes, It’s cold in winter, but I still love winter, because there is a special holiday in China. Do you know what it is?
Talk about the Spring Festival:
We can also say it ________.
When is this Spring Festival?
What do we do on for the Spring Festival?
Teach: We have a special\a big family dinner. (Ask some volunteers to read)
New Lesson:
Today we will learn two special holidays, look
The Dragon Boat Festival
Look at the PPT, lead in boat: Compare boat and ship, read and spell,then write on the blackboard, explain the sound of oa.
When is the Dragon Boat Festival: It’ s on May fifth of lunar calendar.
It’s in May or June. (ask and answer)
What do we do on this festival? We have dragon boat races and eat zongzi. (rice dumplings) Why do we eat zongzi. There is a story, C an you tell the story? (We eat zongzi in order to let the fish not eat Quyuan’s body. This festival , we should commemorate Quyuan
Ask and answer for 4 groups.
The Mid-Autumn Festival
Look at PPT, lead the festival, teach Autumn, teach the sound of au, give two example: August, Australia, then read this festival by one line.
When is the Mid-Autumn Festival?
It’s on August 15th of the lunar calendar.
It’s in September or October. (ask and answer the questions )
What do we do on the Mid-Autumn Festival?
We watch the moon. (Explain the word moon)
Why do we watch the moon? Changer is on the moon?
What else can we do? We eat moon cakes. \water chestnut\fruit
Read the sentences in pairs .(Four groups)
On the Festival, we watch the moon and eat zongzi. We should go home and have a big family dinner with your family, so this festival is a festival of reunion.
Look at the pictures and try to say: What do we do on the ______?(挑人功能)

教学反思
今天这节课基本上实现了教学目标,有两点感觉需要改进:
学生不能对所学的两个节日时间和习俗迅速反应出来,和课上没有给孩子们足够的时间进行消化和练习有一定的关系, 课堂容量太大,老师有些贪多,没有站在孩子的实际情况及进行考虑,如果把这节课分成两个课时,一步一个脚印,稳扎稳打 ,效果就会好很多。
整节课非常注重英语的听说朗读以及背诵,没有给孩子们足够的时间进行书写,这个缺憾留作了家庭作业。课的设计上可以再简单些,抓住重点,难点降低,就会有时间来进行书写。
