一、教材分析
本课是第二单元的故事课,包含了前几课所学习过的always, often, sometimes, never的内容。在进行教学设计的注重引导学生在了解故事的过程中自然而然地复习旧知识,并通过读后活动对其进行巩固提升。
二、学生分析
六年级的学生对英语学习兴趣整体有所下降,两极分化比较严重。所以我们应该以学生的发展为宗旨,始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位,注意分层教学,引导学生端正学习态度,掌握良好的学习方法,培养学生良好的学习习惯。Be Safe on the way是一篇故事课, 是Unti2总体复习,所以上好故事课,是对之前知识的一个巩固。
三、教学目标
1、知识与技能目标
学生要听懂并理解这个简单的故事。
学生要问答关于这个故事的问题。
学生要分角色,用自己的语言表演这个故事。
2、情感态度目标
引导学生积极参与课堂活动,让学生充满乐趣地学,同时培养学生的发散思维、和创造思维的能力。
3、学习策略
启发探究式教学。
四、教学重难点
1、教学重点:能在老师帮助下听懂并读懂故事。
2、教学难点:能够声情并茂地朗读故事并在老师帮助下复述表演故事。

表演环节各小组表演两个环节中的任何一个故事情节,先组内排练,再上台展示,提升对语言知识的掌握程度和运用能力。)

用学过的图片帮学生回忆Be careful.?顺理成章的初步介绍出safe这个词。
找一找故事中的人名,因为在读课文的时候,这几个人名不好读而且他们是故事中的主人公,为后面的表演做准备。用图片巧妙的处理一下,waiting for?,?everyone?,excited为下文做铺垫。
寻读,How to be safe?的句子并画下来,然后进行分角色朗读,根据自己的理解,运用这些句子描述图片的内容。把学到的安全规则运用到自己的生活中来。
通过分析知道Ms. Marshall是有爱心的,来理解Always remember to be safe on the way.通过判断让学生注意校车上的安全常识。
本课课后任务是分层作业,在培养学生朗读能力的基础上提升学生对语言的运用能力。
