学情分析
教材分析： 本节故事课是本单元内容的拓展和延伸。讲述Sam, Al, Oba和Neva在开学第一天等校车时讨论如何保证上学路上的安全，在阅读故事的过程中巩固了本单元所学的频度副词，提高了阅读技能，更重要的是学生在运用英语语言读懂故事、思考在上学的路上如何保证自身的安全的过程中体会到语言学习的乐趣，增强安全意识，提升英语学习的信心。
学生分析：
教学对象是六年级第一学期的学生，经过前面的学习和积累，他们已经有了基本的英语语言积累，但也开始出现两极分化的趋势，有些学生甚至读阅读产生恐惧心理。因此，教师需鼓励并引导学生发展阅读策略，降低阅读难度，增强学生自信心。在教学中设计不同层次的问题和活动增强他们的课堂活动参与意识，鼓励每一位学生发言，让每一个孩子都能体验到英语学习的成功和快乐。
学习目标
知识与技能目标： 能在图片和老师的帮助下读懂故事。
能正确朗读故事并在老师的帮助下表演第3至第5幅图画中的人物对话。
能借助板书在老师的帮助下简单谈论如何在路上保证安全。
学习策略目标：
能在教师的引导下运用寻读、预测等阅读策略，理解故事大意。
能根据图片猜测词义。
通过小组合作，增强合作意识，发展基本的学习策略。
情感目标：
体会英语学习的乐趣，培养读故事的兴趣。
增强对道路交通安全的自我保护意识。

I Pre-reading（5minutes） Greeting
2. Show four pictures for students to understand the word safe .
II While-reading（18minutes）
Show Picture 1, ask some questions about the picture.
Play the video of Pictures 1and 2, then ask students to answer the questions.
Ask the students to imagine what they are doing, then show the questions, ask them to read Pictures 3-5 to find the answers.
Ask the students to listen to the dialogues, help them to understand the sentences then ask them to imitate.
Ask students to practice the dialogues first in groups then show their dialogue.
Show Picture 6, ask some questions, then play the video for students to listen.
III Post-reading（6minutes）
Ask the students to talk about how to be safe on the way in groups.
Ask students to do some exercises.
Homework: （1minutes）
Read the story correctly.
Make a poster about how to be safe on the way.

由询问上学的方式自然引出本课的话题：路上的安全问题。

学生对所看到的图片进行观察猜测之后，再带着任务看视频，比较有针对性。
在理解故事的同时教给学生猜测与寻读的阅读策略。
运用分角色朗读的方式让学生在一定量的输入之后输出，检查学生的理解和掌握情况，同时培养学生按意群朗读的能力。
运用多种方式检查学生对本课的掌握情况。
