Step1: Review
Greeting.

Warming-up:

3. Review:
T: How many seasons are there in a year ?
What are they ?
(Show pictures of seasons.)
T: What season is it ?
How’s the weather ?
What can you see ?
What do you wear?
Then, ask some student to say something about this season.
(这个环节为了训练孩子们的口头作文能力。)
Step2:New Concepts.
T: Do you like winter?
What can you do in winter?
S:Yes. I can skate. I can make snowmen.
T:OK, let’s learn to make a snowman today.
Make a snowman.
I say when I do, ask them to follow me.
Then, show the new words and read.
I do again, they listen and look carefully.
Step3: Drill.
Students get into groups of four to make snowmen.
( One say, the others do.)
Then ask them to show how to make a snowman in front..
Step4:Listen and read.
Listen and read the story in Lesson15,then finish the exercises.
Step5: Let’s sing.
Homework
Make a snowman in another way ,then write down how to make a snowman.
