教学目标:
1、知识目标:四会掌握单词:winter, spring, summer, fall;能听懂,会说词组:put on , take off
2、能力目标:运用所学语句学生能够用英语描述自己最喜欢的季节,并能说出简单的理由,如气候,服装等。
3、情感目标:培养学生热爱生活、珍惜时光的情感。
教学重、难点:
掌握四会单词:winter, spring, summer, fall,并能用所学词汇简单的描述四季景象及四季里从事的活动。
教具准备:词卡、多媒体课件
教学过程:
Step 1: Warm up
1、T: Hello, boys and girls! How’s the weather today? How do you feel ?
Ss: ……
T:I feel happy. So I want to sing a song..Let’s sing a song ok ?
Ss: Ok !
【设计意图】通过师生自然地问候引出与天气有关的内容,用欢快的英文歌曲,引学生进入英语课堂,以旧引新,从而为新知的呈现做好铺垫。
2、Word cards:
The song is about months. Who can tell me the words about months in the song?
【设计意图】引导学生按顺序说出月份单词,教师相机将单词小卡片贴在黑板上.
Step 2: New concept
T:How many months in a year ?
Ss: Twelve .
T: Yes ,There are twelve months in a year. Now look carefully,I put them into four groups. Here are four seasons in a year. Do you know what are they? Look at my picture.
【设计意图】将图片贴在12,1,2月处帮孩子们建立新旧知识之间的联系。
T: Here is a beautiful picture. How’s the weather? What can you see in it?
Ss: 厖
T: This is a picture of spring. (learn spring) Spring is a season. ( learn 搒eason)In spring, the weather is warm and rainy. There are many flowers and trees. The flowers bloom and the trees are green. I can go on a trip in spring. What can you do in spring?

T: What season is coming after spring?
Ss: 厖
T: Yes, this is summer. ( learn summer) Summer is a season, too. Can you talk about summer? How抯 the weather in summer? What can you see? What can you wear? What can you do?

T: Who can talk about summer?
Ss: 厖
T: Do you like riddles?Now listen. The weather is cool and windy in this season. The wind blows the yellow leaves off the trees and there are many fruits. What season is it? Can you guess?

T: It is fall. ( learn 揻all) Fall is a season. Can you say something about fall?
Ss: 厖
T: After fall, winter is coming. ( learn 搘inter) Winter is a season. Winter is different. Can you say?

T: Good work. Look, spring, summer, fall and winter are seasons. How many seasons in a year?
Ss: Four.
T: Right! There are four seasons in a year. Here抯 a chant for seasons. First follow me quietly. Then let抯 chant loudly.厖
T: Look, I wear a T-shirt and a pair of jeans today. Can I wear them in winter?
Ss: 厖
T: Yes. In winter, the weather is very cold. So I put on my winter coat. I put on my scarf. I put on my gloves. ( learn 損ut on) But in spring, the weather is warm. So I take off my scarf. I take off my gloves. I take off my winter coat. ( learn 搕ake off) What do you put on or take off in different seasons? Let’s ask and answer in pairs.

【设计意图】通过图片直观地展现四季,给学生们提供可谈论的话题,可以围绕不同季节的天气、景象、衣着、活动并结合自己的生活实际交流,让英语的学习更生活化、情景化。
Step 3: Practice and consolidation.
T: I wear a T-shirt today. What do you wear today? What do you wear in spring/summer/fall/winter? You can talk with your deskmate.

T: In different seasons, we wear different clothes. We can do different things, too. I can go on a trip in spring. What can you do in spring?
Ss: 厖
T: What else can you do in different season? Please talk in pairs.
【设计意图】通过讨论、问答等多种形式练习巩固,使学生更扎实地掌握新知识。
Step 4: Production.
T: I like all the seasons. But my favourite season is spring. In spring, the weather is warm and rainy. I see beautiful flowers and green trees. I can wear T-shirt and jeans. I can go on trips in spring. Who wants to be my friend? What’s your favourite season? How’s the weather? What can you see? What can you wear? What can you do?(教师根据学生的回答,填写表格)
T: What’s your friend’s favourite season? Ask like me, then fill in the chart.

【设计意图】通过大量听说的训练,最后上升到写的练习。在与同学交流的同时记录下相关内容,培养他们写的能力。

教学反思:
本课内容是有关季节的,和我们的生活联系紧密,因此在设计本课时我努力给学生创设真实的情景。首先在情境中呈现语言,通过四季图片的呈现让学生理解季节词汇,同时引导学生运用所学词汇来描述不同季节的气候和景象。接下来在操练中感悟语言,把季节与学生的衣着联系起来,让学生联系自己的生活实际,运用所学词汇进行表达。最后拓展学生的思路,让学生说一说自己最喜欢的季节及原因,在活动中运用语言。
当然本课的教学也存在有待改进的地方。如学生的表达比较单一,创造性的、个性化的内容很少,教师应加强引导和示范;其次在操练的pair work环节,同桌练习的时间较短,对话展示的多为优等生,教师应关注更多的学生,给每一个学生自由表达的机会。
