Lesson 14 Snow! It’s Winter!
ⅠTeaching aims:
The students will be able to aurally understand, orally use, recognize and spell the following vocabulary: put on, take off, again.
The students will be able to recognize, understand and use sentences like :
I am going to put on my winter hat.
I’m putting on my winter hat

The vocabulary: put on 、take off、again.

The students will be able to correctly use the present continuous tense and the simple future tense.

Ⅴ Teaching procedure:
Step 1 warm-up
Look at the screen and sing the song “If you are happy”.（The teacher may sing and act with the students）
The “Go go game” (Divide the students into two. Boys and girls have a competition.)
Step 2 Revision
The teacher may ask the students: 揌ow many seasons are there in a year? Let the students answer. Then show the pictures of four seasons and let the students guess what season it is .At last show the title 揕esson 14 Snow! It抯 Winter!
Step 3 Presentation
The teacher points to the snow and say :揑 want to go out to play.擳hen does the actions to help the students understand 揼o out. Third let the students say .(Each boy or each girl who can say correctly、fluently、quickly 、loudly. the teacher may give which team a smiling face.)
The teacher may say :“What a cold snowy day !”And show herself feels so cold. Then teach :put on ,next :take off 、again. At last play a game, the teacher may give the winner a gift.
The teacher may use an orange to demonstrate “I am going to eat an orange.” and “I am eating an orange.” as say as act, as say as write on the blackboard. Then let the students play this game.(make sure the students can speak and act correctly)
Let the students look at the screen and say :“I am going to ---- ”and “I am ___ing .
Step 4 Practice
Let the students listen and read Part 1,then answer the questions:
What’s the date?
What are Jenny and Li Ming going to do ?
2、Let the students listen and read Part 2,talk about what happened to Danny.
3、Play a game (Do you dare to challenge ?)
Step 5 Summary and closing.
The students may talk about what they have learnt .
Sing a song to say good-bye.
